Chapter 1
When I woke up, my sister was down stares, when I heard a noise, not just any noise, a screaming noise.I rushed down stares, and Susan was gone! I had so many thoughts going through my head, was she dead, was she taken?All I knew was that she needed help. I went down to the police station, and they said they would go looking for her, but I knew they wouldn't be fast enough, so I went to look for her myself. A few days went by, and I was still looking. With no sleep, I nearly passed out. Until I found this. I found footprints in the dirt, but I'm not sure if they were hers. I followed them, and they led to a barn not too far away from where I lived. When i opened the door, there was a guy,he looked about six feet, and he was wearing a black and blue polo shirt. I was sure that it was my father. He had hazal eyes with blond hair. He said to me , " Are you lost?" With a little frownish smerk. She answered and said, "My sister went missing a few days ago. We still can't find her."Oh!" He said with a worried tone to his voice. "I miss her so much," She said while tearing up. "Im so sorry,I hate to hear that. What's her name? "Her name is Susan. She's only eleven." She said, trying not to cry. I was hoping he would offer to help me find her, but it didn't seem like that was going to happen. So i went to walk out the door, and then he grabbed my arm." Wait,wait. Im coming with you." He said confidently. "Oh, ok," she said, trying not to squeal. We walked for miles before we saw a barbed wired fence. "Who would have a barbed wired fence at the front door of their house?" He said in a confused way. "Im not sure? Should we go in?" She said in a brave way. "Are you crazy! We can not just walk into someone's house. That's trespassing. That's against the law!" He said in a scared tone ."My sister could be in there." All I had to do was convince him to trespass one time. But how? "Hey,I never got your name." I said, trying to sound sutel. "Oh, it's Tomas." He said, trying not to sound sad. "Why do you sound sad?"My dads name was Tomas." He said, trying to hold back his tears. I beggan to walk to the house, "Were are you going?!" He said camandingly. "In the house. My sister could be in there, I have to go in." She said furmly. "Ok, I'll go with you, but bring this." He said in a brave way. He gave me a knife. I gasp, I never thought I would ever have to use one!
