I saw themes dealing with religion and inclusiveness as well as bullying, self-love and self-acceptance. The book held my attention from start to finish. "This book is about religion and the right of religious choice. As a child of depression and doubt Ryan was bullied and friendless, As an adult she was determined to find her own religious path, even if it meant being disowned by her family. When Nick enters the picture things go from bad to worse . . . This book is definitely food for thought and a great read, NRF"

"***My Mother was kind enough to read and review my story, she read it on my account and didn't realize that the review would post in my name, and now we can't figure out how to delete it! -review was actually posted by Valerie Stephens.*** This story is very powerful and shows the tremendous struggle it is to learn how to relearn your thinking after you leave a religion. There are very emotional moments in the story as you empathize with Ryan as she battles her heart and her mind trying to reconcile things she once held dear, and new things that feel right to her as well. This is a beautiful story of a journey that many that have left the religion they grew up in will be able to relate to. So happy for the hopeful and happy ending the story was able to end on."
