You're waken by the sharp wails of your alarm.

Eyes crusted, delirious. You walk to the restroom.

Shower, brush your teeth, floss, leave. While

"Typical", you say to yourself internally.

Once of the few variances in your day

is the decision between purchasing

a breakfast sandwich from McDonald's

or Burger-king. Today you chose McDonald's. You drive

off eating your sandwich on the way to your daily

repetitive tasks. You arrive, the hours pass as you

propel further and further towards death. The

time comes for you leave. Traffic is congested

as that of your arteries. You come home to

find everyone asleep. Your 10 year old daughter

on the couch snuggling her stuffed animal.

Your 7 year old son passed out by his window

while gazing at the stars. Your girlfriend of

2 years, in your bed. The few aspects of your

life which draw you away from the path of

despair. You microwave a prepackaged meal,

take a shower, and head into bed.

You lie face to face with your partner.

You analyze the soft texture of her skin,

shiny and smooth brown hair as that of silk,

the beauty marks on her left cheek. You

are overwhelmed by the feelings of pure bliss

and security. Nothing could make you feel otherwise.

Suddenly your intense focus is broken, by the sudden

unveiling of her piercing green eyes. Your heart starts

to sink, you start to softly tremble as her hand caresses

your face, then slowly yet intently makes it way down.

The blood surges through your veins, your skin flushed,

heart pumping, as you two become one. After

the heat of passion you stay laying in each-others

arms,eyes locked, as you both fall soundly asleep.....
