Oh my God, it's amazing.

"Pigment is an incredible, heartbreaking story. The characters are so realistic, so well written and easy to identify with, even now. Amelia Vale is a star in the making, her books are so touching and heartbreaking. Pigment will make you cry. Out of happiness, out of anger, out of sadness. All of them. I especially loved how we saw Henry's side of things and not Daniel's as you might expect. With that, you could see a unique point of view and the astonishing character development that takes place. Amelia has done extremely well. I would definetely reccomend Pigment to anyone interested in reading. It tells a breathtaking story about slavery, death, LGBTQ+ and, most importantly, love. "

Incredible

"This story touches on so many diverse topics and themes that are rarely found in books today, it's truly one of a kind. Amelia Vale has peiced together a beautiful story about love, race, and learning to except. From a completely new point of view we are seeing just a small piece of what it was like for slaves and the lgbtq+ community back in time. To write a story with such tricky themes was risky but this author did it beautifuly! Definitely going to read over and over again."
