Chapter 1

Third person PoV

"If you're not going to do it right, we can always go back to the original arrangement," Beam says to the man sucking his dick. The man starts to tremble with fear and begins to suck harder.

"Ah, forget it," says Beam, bored. "Guys, proceed."

Two men took the third one, who was kneeling in front of the young master, and they took him out of the room. Soon after, a dry noise is heard, followed by the sound of broken bones and screams.

Beam smirks.

"Young master, your father requests your presence; the Jaturapoon are here, father and son," says the butler.

"Tell the old man I'll be there in a minute."

"Yes, young master"

Beam hates those men—not so much the father but the son. They have known each other since they were little, and the two families have maintained a non-aggression agreement since Beam has memory, although, at present, things have been getting complicated again. That, adding to the constant threats of other families to take power, means that lately, his family is in a serious situation, and his father is more stressed than ever.

Beam moves to the bathroom. He wants to clean the remains of saliva from his body. It's been so long since sex doesn't satisfy him.

His daily routine consists of waking up around noon, completely skipping breakfast and having lunch directly, going back to sleep, taking care of a light errand that his father asks him to do, and, at night, going to the club he owns in the lower part of the city. Every night and day are the same. He is bored.

Letting the hot water of the shower relax him while his mind wanders bored, going from one minute to another, with nothing to do, nothing to excite him, nothing to challenge him. Boredom. That would be his epitaph if he dropped dead right now.

When he finishes taking a shower, he goes to his room to get dressed and sees that Ming is waiting for him.

"Everything ok?" Beam asks.

"Yes! The monthly accounts of the club arrived last night; I left them on your desk, "says Ming.

Ming is Beam's trusted man, his right-hand man. They met four years ago when Beam found Ming almost dead in an alley. Several members of one of the enemy families of the Wongphipat were beating him because he had supposedly looked at the boss' girlfriend with lust, which is ridiculous. After all, Ming is gay. Out of sheer boredom, Beam decided to intervene and beat all the aggressors, who left quickly but not before vowing revenge.

From that moment, Ming followed Beam everywhere like his lap dog. Eventually, they became friends, except for the odd night of liquor, where the friendship became something else, but they never developed a romantic relationship. It's been three years since nothing happened between them. With those few meetings, Beam got bored.

"Thank you! Let's go, the bastards are waiting, and my old man will yell the shit out of me if I don't hurry. It's been a while since they arrived," Beam tells Ming.

They walk slowly towards their father's office. The servants come and lower their heads when they see the young master pass by. Soon after, they arrive at the big white door that belongs to the office, and Beam enters directly without knocking or waiting to be called. Ming enters behind him and closes the door.

"Hello, Dad! Mr. Jaturapoon! Forth ..." Every greeting of Beam is accompanied by a bow, except when greeting Forth, who holds his gaze with a cocky smile on his face.

"Beam, sit down, please," his father says, indicating an empty chair next to him.

The three men are seated, and Beam sees that a fourth man is standing at the head of the table. He has several documents in front of him. Standing behind Forth is a fifth man, Kit, Forth's right hand.

"The gentleman is a notary. He is going to help us with the papers today." Beam looks surprised at his father before this affirmation but also takes his place next to him.

"Now that we're all here, we can start. As you know, the problems with the other families have been intensifying. Even the internal problems in our own families have worsened. For that reason, we have decided to open a joint business." Forth and Beam look at their parents with amazement and horror. They know them well enough to know what those insightful old men are up to.

"As the business is in an area that combines our territories, you two will be responsible for equal parts to manage it," says Mr. Jaturapoon.

"Us? Why us? I can do it alone!" Says Forth. Beam narrows his eyes but says nothing.

"You are going to work together, period. Here is the contract. You must sign four copies, one for each of us," Says Mr. Wongphipat, Beam's father.

"Could I read it before signing it?" Says Beam

"Of course!" Mr. Jaturapoon brings him a copy, and he begins to read it.

The contract is simple: beyond all the legal jargon, they will have absolute control of a casino hotel located right in the middle of the border between their territories. At least, that is the legal part; surely, their parents will internalize them in the subject once the notary leaves.

"Ok," says Beam. Forth looks at him suspiciously.

"Do you have a problem?" Asks Beam

"Oh, the baby boss is angry?" Says Forth as he sneers. Beam simply decides to ignore him.

When they both finish reading the contract, they begin to sign the copies. They are always shooting murderous looks at each other.

Beam's hatred for Forth is nothing compared to Forth's hatred for Beam. Although he tries to show that it is not like that, just to bother Beam with his airs of superiority, the truth is that he doesn't like this agreement in the least. He hates that little brat with all his being.

"Everything is in order. Please also sign the legal record in this book," the notary tells them. Once they do, he thanks them all and then leaves the room. Both parents stare at each other.

"Now that the papers are ready and the plan is underway, we can give them a maximum of six months to get the business going," says Mr. Wongphipat.

"Yes, six months seems more than enough," answers Mr. Jaturapoon.

"What are you talking about?" Asks Beam.

"The deal is this. You are the owners of the casino hotel, but there are already people who are in charge of managing it. The casino is a cover-up for the real business. Several floors of the hotel are equipped with gambling rooms, strip bars, thematic clubs of different types, and escort services, both female and male."

Both Forth and Beam look at their parents with wide eyes.

"The access is purely for elite clients. The handling is the same as for the casino. The business is yours, half for each. You have to agree to handle it. You will live there. You will share the penthouse located on the top floor of the hotel. You have six months to learn to tolerate yourselves. The future of the families depends on that," says Mr. Jaturapoon

"If in six months you fail, both will be expelled from your respective families."

"WHAT?" Say Forth and Beam at the same time.

"Either you are expelled, or you agree to marry Pleng Pleng!" His father tells Beam.

"The same goes for you; either you are expelled or you marry Pring," says Forth's father.

"But I'm your only son!" Beam objects.

"It doesn't matter! I have many competent people around me that I can choose to adopt as a successor."

Forth and Beam are shocked by this development. They have to endure six months of each other and learn to cooperate to get the business going.

"Oh, and one more thing. Keep your cocks in your pants. If we suspect that some kind of romantic relationship develops between the two of you, the deal is over, and you will be expelled or will marry the girls we choose for you." Mr. Jaturapoon tells them

Forth and Beam ignore this latest threat. They are totally sure that that could never happen. Hell should freeze before there is any kind of attraction between them.
