The Tormentors - A multi-layered surprise
"This book was a pleasant surprise—not because of its quality, but because of its ambitious scope. While the synopsis promises an intense bully-romance story about Liessa, a scholarship student trying to bury her dark past at a new school, it delivers much more. The story efficiently establishes the school's harsh social hierarchy: at the top are the Lords, followed by their servile Inner Circle, then the neutral Civilians, and finally, The Scholarships—the lowest rung where our FMC finds herself. The Lords consist of three wealthy bad boys: Brian (presumably the main love interest), Tristan (the womanizer), and Asher (whose character remains intriguingly ambiguous). Liessa's first encounter with the Lords—quite literally a run-in—sets the tone for increasingly tense interactions. She catches their attention by defending another student, Jeremy, from their bullying, and after eleven chapters, it's clear her hopes for a quiet existence are about to be dramatically upended. What sets this story apart is its blend of multiple sub-genres: bully romance, enemies-to-lovers, potential love triangle, dark backstory, and hints of a mafia subplot. Despite this ambitious combination, the author maintains smooth dialogue and consistent pacing. My only suggestion would be to include richer environmental descriptions in certain scenes to further immerse readers in the world. But so far, the story shows great promise, and I'm interested to see how these various elements develop!"

"this is absolutely amazing. (You did a great job of writing the boys POV's i literally started yearning them). The plot was so good, I was always on edge and you kept the suspense up. The anticipatation was perfect, you had great dialogue and this is one of the best books I have ever read. [um, idk, for the writing style i gave 4 bcuz some of the internal monologue felt a bit off in the early chapters but otherwise, all great] "
