Chapter 1- the easy alternative
It all started on an ordinary Tuesday in October when a Husky called Winston was taken to the newly opened Temu Pets. The half page add in the local rag read: grooming salon for “pets who need extra attention and owners who need even more”. How unusual thought Drew as she viewed the add but also how curious. Winston, 2 year old husky mix brat was shedding profusely, hated baths, and often made the task of being washed ten times harder than it had to be . He was the ideal candidate of that pet who needed extra attention. Drew, 16 a busy Junior in high-school and leader of her debate team, barely had any free time for herself, was tired of waiting in line at the local petco for the wash & wags self serve. Looking after Winston was her chore but really it should of been shared by at least 3 people. This , thought Drew might be an easy way to complete one of her chores in half the time. Intriguingly what made Temu Pets most appealing was the fine print in the bottom left hand corner. You can barely read it unless you have young eyes. Payment it said, could be made in kindness! How strange… but how incredibly curious. I’m kind thought Drew, how hard could this be?
Oh harder than anyone could of ever imagined!
