Interesting story so far
"The plot of the story is interesting and keeps your attention. Generally, an enjoyable read so far with a couple of quirks. The pacing could use a little work, in some places It feels very fast and in others it feels very slow. The grammar and writing is generally correct and understandable. However, there are places where a word used is close to the word that would fit in the situation but not quite right and a couple of places where the English is confusing."

Loving the world building and slow burn!
"Really liked this story so far! Liking that it was more of a slow burn and fluff aside from the action. The first few chapters I thought were a bit lacking in the descriptions regarding what was going on around the main character but as the chapters went on the descriptions got better and better. The inner monologues are very thorough and detailed which was very good, the only thing I missed a bit in the beginning was her need to leave Rowan. Like yes she was in danger, but up until the kidnapping and during her arrival there was no real motive described as to why she was desperate to return home. She kept complaining and telling us how badly she was treated by her stepmother as she was trying to escape and get back to her. There was no obvious reason as to why she wished to live and escape so badly since her life was terrible before she was taken. Most people who live in such terrible conditions aren't that afraid to die or desperate to escape because what could be worse than the hell they already live in? It would be more believable if she had something she wanted to return to. I just felt that her need to escape and stay alive was not on par with her life experiences and conditions. Overall I enjoyed the story and the romance. Like the title says the world building is also very interesting and well thought of. I like that it's more of a slow burn yet still has that teasing of spice. The author has a lot of potential when it comes to creating fantasy worlds and I'm interested to see what they will do with it in the future!"
