Summary

Nuru, a quirky and passionate painter turning twenty, is struggling to make ends meet in the vibrant art district of his city. He spends his days working on a series of abstract paintings that he believes will finally get him noticed. Meanwhile, Krev, an ambitious and somewhat cynical journalist, is assigned to write a feature on local artists for a prominent magazine. Krev is known for his sharp tongue and critical reviews, which often dampen the spirits of those he profiles. When Krev approaches Nuru for an interview, Nuru is both excited and nervous, fearing that Krev's harsh critique could shatter his dreams. Nuru: So I suppose you want to ask why I left town or how I ended up running from my past or fucking up this bad. Krev: It was supposed to be for one week He just made me keep coming back for him I can’t believe this actually Happened.
