( Emery pov ) I rip my arm away from xander angirly " Let go!" He growls at me in a low tone I can feel him breathing on my neck I try not to give into him. " I want the truth Emery! Who's son is Jax mine or Jamie's?! You broke up with me twelve years ago Emery, the kid is almost twelve. Why haven't you ever told me about him?" Xander sighs looking at me sadly I sigh heavily " I broke up with you because you were fucking my best friend on our anniversary remember!? You were under the bleachers with cassie! Saying how much you loved her...I went there to tell you they fucking truth Xander " I stand there crying he sighs heavily " Look Emery I fucked up back then but I've changed and I'm sorry okay. Jamie and and his brother talk for hours outside Jax sits in his room on his bed " you okay ?" I ask him concern " yeah, I'm fine I just don't like when people talk down to you mom" I didn't know what to say too my son, at just twelve years old he was wiser then I ever was. He definitely was xander son no doubt about that what the hell was I going to do now that xander knew about Jax? Both Jax and I turned hearing a knock on the door , it was Xander's sister Lily " I'm sorry to bother you both but the alpha wishes to speak with Jax alone. " she says looking at us Jaxon stands up towering over me " it's fine mom, I can handle him." He says following Lily ( Jax pov) I enter my father's office as he smiles at me " Jax , please come in sit down" I nod at him " I'll stand thanks what do you need?" I ask him curiously he leans back in his chair " how long have you known I was your father?" He asks me curiously I sigh heavily " you want the truth?" I ask him he nods at me " I was eight years old , when I found out I herd mom and Jamie fighting in the kitchen because I got in trouble at school. Jamie told mom I wasn't his problem that I wasn't even his kid I was his brother's . I only knew of one brother he had I just put two and two together. To be honest, I tried several times to run away to see you when I was younger but Jamie caught me every time. He told me if I came too see you without permission he'd hurt my mom. So I stopped trying to contact you sorry dad" he growls slamming his fist on the desk I back up a little frightened " Jax don't move from this room understand me ?" I nod at him confused he sighs opening the door " where's your mom Jax?" He asks me concerned " she was in my room why dad?" He nods at me locking the door behind him as he rushes to my room. ( Emery pov) I sigh sitting waiting for Jax as Jamie sneaks up on me " oh! Jamie you scared the hell out of me!" He backs me into a corner " I warned that fucking brat that if he spoke to my brother I wouldn't hesitate to fucking kill you. I mean , I never loved you ....you actually think I love you fuck no! I was only with you to gain the spot of alpha and your son is heir it works out well if I kill you both I gain the title next in line. " I hear xander voice his eyes glowing yellow " I won't let you touch her! I'll kill you myself Jamie!" He says angirly Jamie smirks at him " you always had to be the better one huh big brother? You weren't happy with Emery back in school you just had to have cassie too, Emery never did anything to hurt our family. But you didn't care all she wanted was you not me you! I only told Jax that so he'd stay away from you because Emery and I planned on telling you ourselves. I wasnt trying to scare him ." Xander glares at me " your carrying his pup?" He says angirly I raise my eyebrow at him confused " If your asking if I slept with your brother, yes I have. But he's never marked me and I always use protection. " xander sighs looking at Jamie " how do you know she's carrying your pup?" Jamie smirks at him " take a sniff for yourself I switched her birth control pill for candy " he says looking at us Xander sniffs me " I smell....I smell my scent ...." jamie looks at him in shock " wait! How ? When? " Jamie asks curiously I sigh looking at xander blushing " umm......the night we arrived here a couple of weeks ago. At the party, things just happened. Sorry Jamie " I say too him feeling badly he sighs annoyed " you're a whore Emery and always were one!" He says angirly Xander glares at him " watch how you speak to the mother of my children!" He growls at him I leave the room shaking my head as they continue to fight. I hear Jax's voice and open the door as he hugs me . " mom are you really having a baby?" He asks curiously I look at him confused " you herd that from down here?" I ask him he nods at me smiling . Jax stands next to me protectively as xander and Jamie come down the stairs shouting at eachother. " you stole Emery from me Jamie you're jealous just just admit it. You always wanted what I had , including the girls. You're just pissed off because we all grew up together and Emery chose me instead of you. I know you've always liked her so don't lie and say you never loved her. " xander says to Jamie, Jamie sighs heavily " you stole cassie from me....xander cassie was my date to prom and dad set her up as my mate until you took her to the bleachers that night." Jamie explained I sigh shaking my head Jax folds his arms " Dad, Jamie....you both need to stop this this ridiculous I mean dad you call yourself the king alpha but this is how you act? And Jamie I may only be twelve years old but don't forget I'm the alpha kings heir and next in line to be alpha. You maybe my uncle but it doesn't give you right to treat me or my mother the way you have been all these years just because you were upset at my father for stealing your mate twelve years ago. " both Xander and Jamie look at Jax sighing heavily " Jax, you're right ....I ve been treating you both unfairly not because I didn't care about either of you. But because I was angry at xander for getting what I wanted , even though Emery broke it off with your dad he still got the family he wanted. While my mate cassie, left town to be with someone else. I was angry when I found out your mom was pregnant with you, because it was supposed to be and cassie. Im sorry Jax can you forgive me?" Jamie asks him, Jax sighs looking at him " you're lucky I'm like my mother and have empathy for people. You're forgiven Jamie ...but Itll take time to trust you again " he nods at Jax sighing " what about me and your mother?" Jamie asks Jax curiously Jax raises his eyebrow at him " your engagement to my mother is off Jamie, she's having a pup with my father. Unless you're willing to raise me and my sibling now? " Jamie glares at him annoyed " you fucking brat! " xander steps in immediately " Don't you dare speak to my son that way " he says glaring at Jamie. Xander takes Jamie outside as he shoves him to the ground angirly. I sigh annoyed. As Jamie punches xander as xander falls into me I clench my stomach in pain as Jax catches worriedly looking calling for xander " Dad! She's bleeding!" He rushes over scooping me up into his arms hurrying me to the hospital. ( Jax pov ) we wait in waiting area for what seems like forever. I sigh looking at my dad and Jamie " this both of your fault! If you wouldn't have been so childish and kept fighting with eachother mom wouldn't be here . I swear to both of you if my sibling dies I wont forgive either of you " I say angirly walking away. ( Jamie pov) " he's right xander its our fault...mine mostly but I'll never forgive myself if your pup dies." ( xander pov) " I wont forgive you either " I say to my brother sighing heavily waiting for the doctor. ( emery pov) I was waiting for the doctor to come in when Jax knocked on the door I smiled at him waving him in " any news mom?" He asks me worriedly I sigh heavily with tears in my eyes " The doctor left he said he'd run tests come back." The dr walks into my room " oh , Emery I've got your results back. " he says looking at us " what is it ?" Jax asks him concerned " the baby is fine there was a bit of light bleeding because of the hit you took. But .....that punch didnt touch your baby what so ever. We do want you to stay overnight for observation. But after that you're free to go, we will book you appointments for check up for the baby. But there's something you should know " the doctor says looking confused as he looks at me " what's the problem doctor Evans?" I ask him worriedly " we ran tests.....and well I'm sorry Emery I'm afraid the pup is Jamie's not the alpha kings." I begin to cry heavily shaking my head Jax glares at the doctor pinning him to the wall " run the tests again!" He growls as a tray of medical tools crashes to the floor causing xander and Jamie to rush in. Xander glares at him " drop him now Jax!" Xander demands Jax calms down letting him go sighing heavily walking out the room as he looks at me crying. Xander sits bext too me as Jamie sighs sitting in the chair across from us. " Emery please tell us what happened why did Jax get so upset at the doctor?" Xander asks me concerned I sigh heavily " he got upset because the doctor told us the pup is alive and its Jamie's, xander you need to go find him please " I beg him he kisses my forehead " Emery, I'm not upset about the results but I think someone tampered with them and I know who . Jamie do you still have cassie 's address?" He asks jamie jamie nods at him confused " yeah why? Wait ! You think cassie tampered with the results ?" Jax leans against the doorway " she probably did it because she wants my dad back and was jealous because mom had both of your attention. She probably thought both of you were mom's mates it's not un common in our pack and it makes sense considering you all grew up together and both like mom. " my son was too smart for his age , he knew more then most adults and was more mature then an ordinary twelve year old. Jamie sighs looking at xander " I'll go with you too cassie 's " xander shook his head at him " no you need to stay here and look after Emery and Jax " Jax raises his eyebrow at xander " you think I need looking after ,trust me dad ....I can take care of mom and myself. " xander sighs " yeah clearly Jax we saw, but you can't let your temper get too you son. It's how wolves become rouge and dangerous. " Jax nods at him silently I sigh heavily " xander where the hell do you think our son gets his temper from not me!" I explain to him Jamie smirks at me " she's not wrong brother " Jamie says. Laughing. Jax sighs looking at Jamie " lets say the doctor is right and Jamie is the father of pup what then will you both intend too mate my mother?" He asks curiously xander sighs looking at him " son, I promise you the pup is mine and you...me and your mom will all be together soon as this mess is sorted out okay?" Jax nods at him not believing him. xander and Jamie leave as Jax stays with me " something doesn't smell right about this mom" he says looking at me I smile at him " go follow your instincts I'll be fine here." I say too him he nods at me heading down the hallway of the hospital ( Jax pov) I only needed a few minutes to prove my theory that cassie tampered with the DNA because twelve years ago she too got pregnant by my father but lost the child which is why she was trying to switch the tests she was probably trying to use father's sample to re impregnate herself and then she'd be true heir because she was his first technical girlfriend. I shift threw the files reading smirking snapping a picture " I was right!" I run back to mom grinning she looks at me curiously " what is it?" She asks me " I knew it! Cassie got pregnant by dad twelve years ago but lost the pup. She was tampering with the tests today too steal dad's sample to re impregnate herself because...." " because her child would have been heir first which would make her the Luna go tell your uncle Jamie now!" I call jamie up explaining everything to him " thanks Jax we understand, don't go anywhere " he says hanging up. I sat there handed mom the un tampered results of the tests " these are the real ones....mom" she reads them sighing " the pup is your father's....." she says smiling at me I grin at her " looks like I will be the big brother to a sister. " I say to her smirking at her " well in that case you better take good care of your sister and train her well." I nod at my mom ( Xander pov) I bang on cassie door angirly her brother Luca opens the door sighing looking at us " alpha , what are you doing here?" He asks me curiously Jamie looks at him " where's cassie Luca we need to speak with your sister immediately!" He says in a demanding tone. Luca opens the door letting us in " please come in, what did cassie do this time?" He asks rolling his eyes annoyed " this time? What else has she done Luca?" I glare at him confused " well after you left her under the bleachers, our father was furious with her for getting pregnant he got so mad at her he shoved her down a flight of stairs to kill the pup. She was angry at Emery and my father....it caused her to go rouge. She even threatened to kill your son. Alpha I'm sorry " I raise my eyebrow at him confused " when did she threaten my son?!" I shout at him angirly he trembles with fear as my inner wolf comes out " after she went rogue she told me she had a plan but never told me what it was....she started working at the hospital last month I didn't until why because cassie had a teaching degree. Then I found a vial in our bathroom tonight....with your name on it alpha. Except....the one in the trash had Jamie's name on it " Jamie raises his eyebrow confused " wait are you saying cassie confused xander sperm with mine? And impregnated herself?" Jamie glares at him confused he nods at us shrugging " yeah...if that's what was in those vials then unfortunately yes." I sigh heavily cassie smurks at me leaning on the wall unexpectedly " xander you're too late I've already took your sample and well...yeah." she grins I shake my head at her " cassie its not my pup...its Jamie's. You grabbed the wrong sample cassie you're under arrest, take too the cells." I say too my pack members as we head back to the hospital. Jax is standing at the drink machine I smile at him " hows your mom? " I ask him curiously he smiles at me she's good she's sleeping. How'd it go at cassie 's ?" He asks me Jamie sighs speaking up " Not good at all cassie stole the wrong sample , she tampered with the results yes...but took my sample instead of your dads. " Jax raises his eyebrow at him in shock " mom will freak!" I look at him confused " why Jax , the baby she's carrying is mine your mine and Jamie agreed to call off their engagement. " I say to him Jax sighs looking at me " yeah but remember what I told you sbout bith you being her mate? Mom has a connection with both of you now and that's hard too break do you really think she will take cassie having either of your children?" Jax says boldy Jamie sighs heavily " I'll talk to Emery in the morning, we still have to make sure that cassie isnt actually with child. " Jamie says looking at Jax and I sighing heavily. We turn hearing Emery's voice behind us " Cassie is having your pup! You gotta be fucking kidding me right?!" She says glaring at Jamie he looks at her with guilt " Emery please, you threw me away like trash! You ended our engagement....you did the same thing to me that xander did too you twelve years ago! You cheated on me the first week we arrived here with xander. " Emery dropped to the ground crying Jax and I knelt down next too her Jamie raised his eyebrow at me " always running to her rescue , aren't you xander ?" I grab him angirly pinning him to the wall " you made her cry! Apologize now or so help me by the moon godess I will break your neck " Jamie shoves me " Fine! Alpha, as you wish. Emery I'm sorry for upsetting you " he says sighing looking at her. Jax sighs with a look in his eyes as he punches Jamie knocking him to the floor. " sorry my ass!" Jax says as he begins to shift I hold him back calming him down. " Jax relax! You need to calm down this will only upset your mom more." He began to calm down and sat down next Emery on the floor, as she cried. Luca approached us sighing " sorry to intrupt alpha, I have the results of my sister's test you ordered. " he hands them too me I read over them " Jamie , she's not with child the sample didn't take." I say too him handing him the results. Jamie sighs with relief as he hands Emery the results " look it didn't work emery...I'll never be able to give anyone children. " he says looking at her sadly she stands slowly " xander , I want to make a deal with you " " okay what?" " I want you both as my mate even if Jamie cannot provide me pups ....he's my mate just as much as you are its both of you or none at all do you accept alpha xander?" She asks me curiously I look at her then Jamie " I agree to your terms Emery so long as Jamie agrees" " I agree with them but no more fighting " he says looking at me. Emery smiled at us that night we went home to make it official we would both claim her as our mate .
