Chapter 1

Hello, you have been rejected.

What? What the hell?

Please choose one of these categories in which you have fallen under to help us better improve this service: VIP 'friend zone', 'lost in translation', winner of the 'not interested' games, or other.

...What the actual fuck. *laughing* She gave me the number for a rejection hotline? Are you kidding me?

I regret to inform you that you have indeed been rejected. Now please answer my previous question.

Those are some really random categories, but I have to admit that's... creative.

*pause* Thank you.

I suppose I'd fall under the - what is it called again? - uh, 'winner of the 'not interested' games' category.

Thank you for your feedback.

By the way, since when did rejection hotlines ask questions like that?

If you mean such innovative and thoughtful questions, then since now.

*laughs* You're kind of funny. Maybe you'd be more interested in a date with me than the girl who gave me this number.

*pause* You don't know who I am or how old I am, nor do I know anything about you. I can't even tell if you were joking or not, but either way, I'd have to turn you down.

Oh well, two strikes and I'm out, I guess.

~beep~

-End of Call-

Haven laughed, tossing her phone on the bed and flopping onto her back. No one had ever actually answered her question before - this guy was the first one. Not that the question was actually important either. Haven had always wanted to add a little spin to her rejection hotline service, just for fun, and this question had been the perfect idea. People didn't like it much, obviously, but they would never know it was her. Anonymity was the best.
