THE BEAUTY OF POEM

Poem: mystic, mystery et cryptic doth not mean

But an intense expression of feelings doth verily mean

It is an art that definite patterns have

It revolves in phases of feelings.

Its brevity style is but concretion be

And sleeps in aesthetic form and beauty of—

Rhythm, rhyming, mood, tone, sound et diction

Poem is but shortest form putting words in definite lyrics

A poet is he that poems wrights,

In place of actors and narrators he in intense diction speaks

And in matters of intense feeling—

Mood, action, elegy, eulogy of persona reveals

Where poem impossible to brains be

Have lots to do with cryptic, mystic than literary

For poem an aesthetic part of genre be

Is set to both readers and listeners thrill or saddened

The beauty of imagery in poetry—

Is the crown of poetry and joys of a poet

The fruits of stoic poetry—

Are the rewards to actors and listeners.

Few these SONNETS, below were written in ABABCDCDEFEF-GG

the rest sonnet are written in the author`s design.

THE BEAUTY OF LIFE

The beauty of life

Far beyond Rose flowers be

Far more than Rainbows` on high

More beautiful than lilies be

Priceless than Rubes are

More valuable than wealth

Boundless as love and peace are

Life beautifies health

As she is greater than her raiment

Oh very profitable to the living

Life is really eternal and helmet

For all end – but she keeps living

Death her tool for transition be

When she desires transition to eternity

DEATH A MYSTERY TO MAN

Of the mysteries beyond man is death

He is a however a personality

He visits man at his date

He can dissolve any mortal personality

The mystery is that he is invisible

As blind though we are

His products are visible

But we can`t see far

We don`t know where to run

To avoid his cold grips

Sometimes we blindly to him run

And to his bold hands clip

Oh, no matter man`s dominion and will`

Death dethrones him at will.

THE BEAUTY OF TEACHING

Teacher! Teacher! Teacher!

What a noble profession

What a decision to a teacher be

And in humane maintain the profession

Your work is vital to man

Where teaching is indeed derelicted

The whole gifts of nature is denied man

And poverty to humanity inflicted

The beauty of instructing a child

Lies in making him realize himself

For healthy teaching makes whole child

Teaching makes mankind realize themselves

But where teaching by fakes handle

In abundance will fakes, yes fakes be produced

THE RHYTHM OF HEART BEAT OF A LOVER

You are verily the beauty—

That my life really needs

For there is no defective in your beauty

There is in it living reflective gem indeed

All about you is full-figured

For in crows you are outstanding

And among your sets you`re a figure

I pray great for your understanding

Oh to take my lavished love

And quench my thirst with your voluptuous lips

As my life is nothing without you Love

And without you I live a dry lip

Chika, like secure cleft of the rock your love is

Chika, like secure cleft of the rock your love is

SUN – A WONDER CREATION

Oh rising Sun at far sky above

I see with admiration your glory

As you light our dark from above

Your incomparable light glowing—

Our earth makes in warmth rest

You are light, life to vegetation

As no crop germinates without your rays

We see earth’s beauty at your visitation

The living rises to shine as you shine

Your uses multi-dimensional to earth

Darkness away flies when you smile

Oh from you health, wealth, help to man be

But no matter, times you go, leaving dark to pitch

While leaving us no space to our feet pitch

From Christians` Holy Writ

This assertion was made

Yes, it stands oh forever sure

`When a righteous rules people rejoice

Where the cries of helplessness abounds

Where sorrow in hears of men prevail

Has this revelation glaring—

The wicked on the throne be

Oh righteousness nation exalts

They are amassed with reproach

The nation that in wickedness wallows

Repressions! Recessions! Reproaches they bear

The nation that in sins wallows

In the crystal light grooms in dark

And lives without God`s mercy

And faces hell in all her ways

Heaven the needs of man knows—

More than man the needs of heaven knows

Any nation that in obedience to God rolls

In abundance and peace God makes her roll

As long as there are suppressions, repressions, and marginalization from man against man, there can never be an end to fight for Freedom. (the coming poems talk of man`s struggles to own freedom.)

FREEDOM LEADS ALL

Freedom at best is the ultimate

Where folks cry for hunger, yes hunger

Needs indeed but freedom

For hunger is but madness of womb.

Where folks cry abomination, abomination

Needs indeed but freedom

For abomination is but claim against sanity

Freedom at its best is the ultimate

Where folks cry slavery, yes slavery

Needs abundantly but freedom

For slavery is fetter against genius

Freedom a garment that fits both giant and dwarf

Where folks cry political woes

Needs but freedom in democracy

As democracy is equal food for both small and great

And freedom a route to democracy

Where folks cry kidnapping and oppression

Needs indeed but freedom

For kidnapping and oppression are but inhuman

And where they are, abound bondage of hatred and greedy

Where suppression and political fetters abound

Had even the leaders in merciless bondage

For he that governs the oppressed

Is sadly in dirty garment of oppression clothed

FREEDOM WE DESIRE

Freedom the desire of the fettered

Freedom the sole of heart`s joy

The enemy of bondage is but freedom

So freedom at best is verily divine.

It`s one in bondage, yes, in fetters

Can freedom sweetly interprets

For joy of riches anchors in freedom

But no exact freedom if joy doth eludes

Is man agent of bondage be?

I think not, and not so to be

For he against freedom is in bondage

For freedom is universe without bondage

Oh, freedom the desire of prisoner

Oh, freedom the desire of those in dark

Where whole freedom doth exists

Has but the seat of heaven within

Where darkness prevails

Is but in dearth of freedom

As Isaiah doth in Holy writ wailed

Our world in utter bondage of Godlessness be.

Let the bitter heart rejoice

For freedom is at last here

When the bonds will dine with the free

And man and Lions together again shall eat.

We desire freedom, yea, real freedom

Freedom from undue influence

That our noble course doth thwart

We desire freedom, yea whole freedom

We desire freedom, yea real freedom

Freedom from international wrangling

That our pure culture impure doth make

And hybrid of unwholesome culture breeds

We desire freedom, yea real freedom

To our ingenuity a chance to test

Freedom from cultural imperialism

And to ourselves wholly own

We desire freedom, yea real freedom

From political and economic slavery

From blind leaders who throng for thrones

And to our place take among nations.

A cry for freedom, a cry with sorrows

Behold how it mingles down like nature tears

Can our world freedom wholly attained

May be when the kingdom is here.

A CRY FOR FREEDOM

A cry for freedom

Inevitably from the oppressed

And the minds marginalized

To endless eternity doth span

Till the cry turns to joy of freedom

A cry against political bondage

Is a desire to a basic freedom gained

A desire to in whole freedom be

A long cry of sorrows it lingers to be

Till the cry turns to joy of freedom

A land where songs of sorrows doth abound

Where political chaos the hearts doth wear

And people`s hearts in fears doth keep

Has a lasting cry of insecurity to keep

Till the chaos turns to joy of freedom

The wings of freedom to all doth forever fly

But on like hawk`s talon doth those in slavery live

Freedom, oh freedom, salvation to fettered hearts

Your duty is shackles of fetters to ramshackle

And gifts and destinies of people unfurled.

FREEDOM BELL

Jingle the bell for freedom

Let the slumbers be awaken

Let the skeptics be aroused

On team work we win

Jingle the bell for freedom

Agitate now for real freedom

And be thou not weary

Though the fight be dreary

Jingle the bell for freedom

Siren its trumpet to stardom

Though punitive measures you meet

Freedom at last must come

Jingle the be fro freedom

Flinch not, onward ever go

Cry with bitter hearts in tears

Freedom – the reward must come

Let the rising Sun shine

And cold against freedom varnish

Let Rains against injustices flow

Biafra again forever shall glow.

JUSTICE THE REALM OF PEACE

Let justice the Judges uphold

Let Judges the justice wear

The land freely on justice shall fly

Hearts burdened with imperialism free shall be

Fair-play the captor of injustice be

While injustice on wings of inequity roll

Let equity by justice be made roll

Our earth burdened with injustice free shall be

Let judgment on balance of justice be weighed

May justice our judgment tactically weighed

So weeping shall far from the oppressed be

And the oppressed at justice on judgment set free

Legal tongues only on justice can heaven please

In dreams of eternal judgment Judges hereto doth roll

For though in their mercy we prostrate

But Justice the Judges at last shall judge

Justice though alien heretofore doth be

We desire, seek, and for it do cry

Oh, the Judges the justice should woo

Our aching world by justice shall live

ARE THEY CONFUSED LEADERS?

Oh, how art the world on sins wrapped?

And awesome God of heaven rejected

Who mountains and oceans from Him flee

And who His mercy to the wise forever be

How can the world so obstinate be?

How can the nobles so worldly be?

To easily ascent Gay-marriages be

And wobble in same-sex marriage wow!

The error of legalizing incest

The ignorant world in return doth kill

Oh error of legalizing prostitution for profit

Unheard catastrophe to our earth doth pose

Oh, how can the nobles bend to God provoke

Who for love demeaned to die for sinful men?

How can the noble righteousness frown at?

And forgot that eternity at their doors step is

The world in crossroad of indecision be

Blindly gearing to with immortality clash

Who forever His awesome power remains

Who forever His kingdom dominates

SELF-DETERMINATION IS THE ULTIMATE

Where self-determination is enthroned

There justice on wings of citadel of peace doth ply

Yes, where justice on wings of citadel of peace doth ply

Lacks cry for freedom but dwells with freedom

Where quest for self-determination is suppressed

There the light to nation`s survival is covered

And darkness of dejection enthroned

And darkness of subjugation there doth enthroned

Freedom springboard for self-determination be

He that the cries for freedom against be

An offspring of bondage in whole doth be

For self-determination aroma of freedom unveils

Freedom and self-determination friends doth be

As slavery and suppression friends doth be

And land where either control doth take

The people`s aspiration either make or mar be

Oh, let`s hail self-determination traits

Let`s hail freedom the realm it abides in

A nation with unbridle progress in all shall be

Where freedom and self-determination friendly interplay

AT WHAT OTHER LEVEL WILL IT BE ANARCHY

What situation is farther from anarchy?

Is it incessant gruesome murder and kidnapping?

Is it Genocide and or regicide?

Is it the forceful raping of virgins of the land?

What situation is farther from anarchy?

Is it land without peace, law and order?

Is it land where restiveness dominates?

And or is it where leaders are bloody?

What situation is farther from anarchy?

Is it where youths are without respect at all?

Is it where parents care-less for kids

And or is it where Gestapo of intimidation abound

What situation is farther from anarchy?

Is it where tribal impunity to others abound

Is it where political injustice dominates?

And or is it where religious bigotry dominates

What situation is farther from anarchy?

Is it where moral anarchy abounds?

Is it where parents and children clash in confusion?

And or is it land where moral justice is not a norm?

What situation is farther from anarchy?

Is it where through fraud economy on morass train away run

And hungers` catastrophe human bellies ravage

And or is it where unemployment peace of mind doth take.

THE EARLY RAIN

Wind, the harbinger of early rain is here

As it blows, trees out of order sway

The loosed house top sheets clatter and cling

Forcing open windows short with a bang.

Helter skater the people run

All pressed with millions miniature case

Except home skipping little children

Who all cares is taking by flying traction in the wind

Hey you there, gather the house flying wares in

You playing and unconcerned kids

The child has nothing special to care for

But the approaching of the rain

The house filled with people peeping out

And the street deserted all in seconds

The thunder rolling and rumbling with noise

And dropping sporadically steadily turns to downpour.

PEACE CURES

Peace the very influence against wars

The final arbiter to troubled hearts

The final settlement in troubled homes

The desire of both good and bad be

The world without you in unabated wars be

Matrimonial homes break outside you

Even Love runs in your bedrock

Though Love is your light for action

Place eternity at conscience of everyone

Then they value reality of long life

And treasure with keen others` right values

And hold with truth each others` good words

Where chaos and wars doth reign

Is but innocent of peace

And the throne where peace is alien

Is but a shadow of sardonic Satan

Where peace is sought but in vain

Has bastions of hypocrisy prevailing

But where peace is sought and gained

Has incarnate Prince of Peace prevailing

Where stockpile of Amoury is fuming

Lacks real desire to peace enthronement

For a real kingdom in realm of peace

Earthly military arsenals are abomination

THE NATURAL WATER

Water, mysterious liquid substance

Far beyond the fathoming of the users

Only defined how made by the Maker

The rushing, gushing, glassy gift of nature

The lives of the living here

On water solely doth anchor

Even the inanimate can`t its usefulness deny

Water is life as life turns dead without it

Man`s activities survive by water

Water is man`s means to raise wealth

Man`s sound health the function of water be

So where water unhealthy turns, turns man unhealthy

Has man hand in clean water still to keep?

Has man hand in unclean water still to keep?

Yes, man in chase of wealth et fame can water spoil

But clean water, sure, clean health can keep

The mystery of water holds this axiom:

Food can`t survive us without water

But water can survive us without food

So the liquid is life, as water of life

A CALL FOR HELP

Rush down to helpless people`s lane

If spirited one thou really art

Up to the nobles` corners with hot tears—

Yes, with sorrows and pity shall thou come

A call for help, real clarion should be

To either beggar or cripple help

To either hunger or orphan salvaged

And hope to homeless and helpless give

Inequality and injustice undoing to helpless be

Who equal rights to the helpless give?

Then helpless in joy of freedom shall rejoice

For helpless both political and poverty thralldom suffer

The daily fishes to the helpless anywhere

An offer too little with value doth be

Where the helpless a fisherman made be

Will then know sweet privilege for living

The nobles in governance account must give

As to the stewardship of wealth of nation held

And the teeming helpless in their regime salvaged

For cries of the helpless God unrest doth keep.

THE WEEPING MEN

Weeping a feat women easily do

Feat men though rocky, find hard to do

Where men easily bitterly doth weep

Unseats God for prompt investigations

Where men for hunger doth bitterly weep

God can Ravens send to attend supplies

But where men for freedom helplessly doth weep

Makes God by Himself for redemption comes

Down there in our misery lanes

Men in chains more than women weep

Are they for what doth weep?

Just for freedom to self-determination

Where war political freedom wouldn`t effect

Where pogrom, genocide: peace of people doth burnt

Now blurs the hope for self-determination

And makes men in fetters ever weep like dying Ants

The bitter cries of men here are heard echoing

Who on fight for freedom are met with political clamp down

Tears of men drop like the Saviour`s mingles with blood

And no mediator of hope, all seem compromiser be.

Who, the weeping helpless men console?

Who, their mouthpiece out there can be

And who their long overdue freedom helps reality be

For where men like women weep, there women perish

WAR THE ENEMY OF PEACE

War and peace never in union can be

And it`s futility to through war seek peace

Such is but barbaric minds products

And bloody hearts way to issues settle

Where weapon of war doth but abound

Have no understanding about peace

And never can ever boast of seeing peace

For war-arms keep peace under the foliage

War against the land because of throne

The evidence of dull brains be

For where peace abounds, abounds prudence

But by wars, fools the land control

The ravaging war at Yemen, Syria, et others

The climax of foolishness of leaders unveils

None that war against blood is wise

For the joy of the victims on altars of weapons dies.

Absurd minds peace through war doth seek

And violence their war-arms for peace be

Where thrones garments of war adorned with

There the ruled garments of refugees adorned with

WAR – FOOLS` PROJECT

War galore, oh!

Only in trouble man`s land doth ravage

Where peace is but alien

Where the Prince of peace is verily alienated

War galore, oh!

If education doth it abate

The elite world couldn`t have had wars

For education only in peace garment thrive

War galore, oh!

If riches the wars can stop

Those buoyant in riches wouldn`t talk of war

For riches outside peace is but war

War springs from wicked leaders

And the helpless doth bitterly pulverize

The tales of refugee ills are by the indigents

For the nobles are covered by war not peace

War galore, oh!

The test of ingenuity in nuclear arms

Where money for the poor is turned against them

And thereto being refugees ever their portion be

Can the earth peace know?

Yes, but only when war is suppressed

And war only can be suppressed

When peace in Prince of peace controls.

OUR HARDSHIPS ARE BY OUR LEADERS

Oh how can it be?

To live like helpless dead

And or to see the living dying like Ants

Just for self-made hardship by our leaders.

The parents no recourse found

As prices of scarce goods made rise

Basic amenities alien from people be

All from self-made hardship by our leaders

Oh how can it be?

To hunger die where bounties abound

To see teeming youths the future hopes roam

As a result of self-made hardship by our leaders

Oh how can it be?

To sleep with two eyes wide open

Because robbers waylay and ravage the peace

Suffering self-made hardship by our leaders

Oh how can it be?

To watch our harmless virgins raped to shame

To see our helpless ladies in nude for morality

All caused by self-made hardship by our leaders

Oh what a land here be?

Downfall the garment for helpless be

Where law fights law-abiding instead

Culprits rule the land with impunity.

BENEFITS OF THE CROSS

On a hill far away an old rugged cross stood

The emblem of shame, but pride of the redeemed

The anchor against eternal doom

Unto thee old rugged cross for eternity I cling

Oh, thou old rugged cross

To benefit the redeemed thou art come

For He that shamefully for me on thee doth hung

Doth mercy, pardon, favour and riches to me brought

Thou road to the old rugged cross far and painful be

But shorter than all the short-cut to it

The Saviour wearily verily wanted out to opt

But for love He the pains and shame for me bore

On old rugged cross there my burdens were lifted

Underserved grace and peace to me there doth gave

Though Christ on it for me bled and died

But from it life eternal I wholly received.

THE REAL THOUGHTS OF NORTHERN HEGEMONY

`No victor`, “no varnish”

A slip of tongue from slippery mouth be

Oh, how can the Hegemony of the North—

Oligarchy over the vanquish forgo?

Ko doom! Ko doom!!

Language of doom the vanquish should ever hear

Although in principle the verdict can here be

But no place in practice for it here be

Their war fought into history had gone

But its scars we vow to evergreen keep

As long as by neocolonialism policies we won

We thereto part of the verdict – victor upheld

Survival of the fittest norm of our world be

The vanquish, the Prince must rule

The Vanquish, the Prince must surely serve

After war: Victor, or Vanquish; one must be

Their men in our oligarchies armies

All disturbances, wars, affray, should alone defend

Their politicians in our oligarchic leadership—

Second fiddles only can our hegemony grant.

The revenues from oil deposit

A war spoils which must rightly be apportioned

To victors, yes victors and her allies

Let the vanquish varnish in vanity.

THE BEGINNING OF OUR SORROWS

From 1980 our drifting down the drain began

Though 1979 we thought a new era we`ve caught

Where people their minds then can speak

For military era a paradigm we shifted from

1980 the dawn of indigents` sorrows be

For political Lilliput then our bane be

And threw us helpless into economic morass

Since then on austerity tempest we are tossed

The battle if iceberg be, had never a step to it have

For prophets upon prophets and emancipators on our throne—

In hot exuberances have mounted sailing us

But in all the same old story – be patience!

A decade rolled after without hope—

Has 3 decades in roll clothed with helplessness

We in mixtures of chaos, riots, hunger are told:

Do wait, hope, and tie tight your girdle for better

The hopeless helpless folks of the land—

In rats race for survival dive

Some by rogues, crimes, flirting sought food

Where the leaders our wares by fraud away carted

Have folks now hope to cherish, oh how can?

For anarchy is now upon the land loosed

In impunity the politicians expand with loots

While the indigents at holes hide amidst starvation.

HERDSMEN AND HUMAN LIVES

Life so precious indeed is—

That even the dead regret of losing it

A rare gift of nature that no duplicate have

Life is so precious to waste just so.

Contrition twins me like snake

The lament of cattle to the earth be

How now does contrition man like cattle twins?

And lives so precious wasted without minding

Where Leaders the led unable to control

An augury of anarchy so doth portrays

Oh how Herdsmen lives of many so easily take

Without the Leaders on their toes standing

Where the governed stand the governors—

The crime of demeaning abound with governors

And or they feign deliberately ignorant of abating

If not cattlemen can`t stand without been backed

How, oh can one with fears be inundated?

For licensed terrorist in clothing of Herdsmen ravage

Raping women to weary, killing men like fowls

The worst, the anarchy, the Leaders doth hypnotized

EARTH IS NO MARCH TO HEAVEN

What precious treasure doth the earth hold?

What lives everlasting have the earth?

What things eternal values have here?

That eternal Heaven making us forget

What favour has carnality over spirituality

What love has Satan more than Christ?

What peace has earth over Heaven?

That eternal life making us forget

What gain doth worldliness have over unworldliness?

What gain has Satan`s attires over garment of righteousness

What beauty has the world over Heaven?

That eternal rest making us forget

What positive rewards have sin over righteousness?

What joy has earthly wealth over heaven`s

What joyous eternity has earth over Heaven`s

That eternal rest making us forget

What a consuming fire is Satan more than God?

What an awesome judge is Satan more than God

What eternal punishment has Satan more than God?

That God`s judgment day making us forget.

SWEET MUM CARESTH THOU NOT…

Sweet mum careth thou not—

That we thy `pikins` perish

How diligent art thy ears to our cries

Careth thou not that we perish

As living dead in starvation we lie

Tossing, trekking down the valley of sorrows

Hoping against the hope to survive

Careth thou not that we perish

What crimes in us asking you to us lead?

What crimes in us crowning you foster mum

How shall thy `pikins` weep down to grave

Careth thou not that we perish.

The staple foods luxury now to us be

While noble ravish in what million by 7 people can eat

Wealth of the nation, the Leaders of the nation amass

The poor in sorrows and starvation down to grave roll

Where two Elephants bitterly doth fight

Innocent grasses there doth the brunt suffer

The politicians’ political clashes of the land

The poor their bitterest brunts helplessly bear

The land on heat of inflation et crimes fumes

Sicknesses the poor ravage with no medical cares

On the verge of collapse our souls palpitate

Careth thou not, oh mum, that we perish

TIME: RARE RESOURCES

Time: a rare resource to man from Nature

The intangible substance that tangible controls

The activities of the mortals on it hinge

Time, the Nature`s rare resources to man

From our beginning to the end—

Is within the frame work of time

It apportions our durations here

Time, the Nature`s rare resources to man

Time, the Nature`s activities for man controls

But Nature, time controls at the prevailing of eternity

Mortals without time here have no lives

For time is Nature`s rare resources to man

Time, like pendulum activities of man regulates

Time to think, and time to talk

Time to work, and time to rest

Time to live, and time to die, oh die away

The Sun on time verily operates

Rainy season without time can`t do

Even the Savior at appointed time came

At appointed time went away, to reappear at a fixed time

Time, our beginning here determines

Time, our ending here determines

Time, our stay in grave also determines

So a wise man knows life is vain without time

You may not be keen to keeping time

But time is very keen in keeping you

One can only wait for time

But the very time for no one waits.

THE LAMENTATION OF NAIRA

Oh, I am sick, sick, and seriously sick!

I have never in midst of Currencies won

Yes, never amongst Notes and Coins swell in pride

Can I in glory ever again rise?

The winds of inflations, oh, on me doth toss

And a second fiddle amongst Currencies I play

Who my sickness upon would be blamed

Shame inundates my integrity and Sovereignty

Buoyancy of economy surely on me doth lie

People`s well being in buoyancies of economy doth lie

As bedridden for y ears now I helplessly lie

People I serve, real, quality income doth lack

Will my sickness soon be over?

Only when from neocolonialism grips I out wriggled

For those I serve are so in the rope tied

And devaluation becomes always my added threat

Before other Currencies with disdain I am treated

Like wet-Vulture with shit on her talon I`m seen

When I have no values before Nations

How valuable will the economy appreciate?

Let the people in whose Sovereignty I serve

Make truth through their ways run

For where greed any sector of economy impedes

Makes Naira in the process a mere paper.

ODE TO MY BOY

Thou art gentle Okoro Basil U.

The lovely, wealthy in humane

Thou dwell with rare sense of humor

Wisely watching against loopholes to failure

Like gentle Rose of Sharon—

Your love to your lover shall be

With love of earth`s Lover Lord as your cover

You and your lover on love lane merrily shall ply

Your wife`s beauty like lilies of valley shall glow

When her inner beauty—

The garment of Lord of beauty adorned with

For inner beauty outward beauty evergreen keeps

The music of holy love that tongues defies—

Shall your listening ears be thrilled with

Your hearts shall it always merry

And on wings of victory shall it bear you.

Weigh love and hatred on a balance

Love is weightier

But if in the heart the duo are weighed

Love verily is lighter and peaceful.

BIAFRA NEEDS FREEDOM

Where cries for freedom doth abound

There fetters of slavery doth abound

For no one wolf freely can cry

And so Biafra and kids in bondage be

Where language doth but differs

And culture impossible to rhyme

Had tendency of tribalism abound

In such Biafra and kids themselves found

If one tends index of injustice growth known

It can`t at king`s palace really be known

But from those at rural areas doth dwell

So ask Biafra and kids there since after the war

The days for sure are verily evil

But more than evil inundates Biafra

A land where men instead weep

Oh, can alike Carl Gustaf von Rosen again be seen

Where are nations that for peace and justice united?

Have they their noble mission forgotten?

Who stripped them off the garment of justice?

That Biafra and kids long in slavery doth remain.

LET FREEDOM US PART

Our minds helter skaters still run

Palpitating at sight of wolfish herdsmen

Who knows if licensed terrorists are here?

To another organized pogrom effect

Dead randomly are littered abroad

As Ak47 are triggered at souls

And women yell in anguish of raping

What can the Vanquish after all do?

How can lawlessness a sitting government prevails?

Not at all, if not by rulers` backing

For where illegality prevails, legality deliberately sleeps

The brunt all on Biafra and Kids be

Souls no matter how precious indeed be

Has no value before their offensive weapons

Slaughtering, yea, slaughtering valued souls.

What can they do for at war they were defeated?

Let freedom so urgently speak

To our incompatibility really part

Let freedom so urgently speak

To our incompatibility really part

SOUL IS SOUL ANYWHERE

Souls is soul anywhere

Especially before her infinite Creator

How words of redemption world deter to speak

And souls of Biafra and kids in like hell burn

Souls is soul anywhere

The attentions of UN to it re-awaken

How have your garment of justice inside-out donned

Oh for ages on heavy laden Biafra be

Soul is soul anywhere

The attentions of Earth`s lords to it drawn

How have you history of justice acts forgotten

As Biafra wails to hell with kids intestate

Souls is soul anywhere

The souls of the White, as well as of the Blacks—

Have these 3 great masters to meet: life, death, judgment

Which mercy on humanity lessens their severity

The kids seem in vain to have been crying

As adults scars of pogrom ever mourn

If reparation to over 3 millions death can be

The songs of Angels: Hallelujah, to Biafra will ever be

A CLARION CALL FOR MERCY

Her Majesty, the foster-mum of our world

To whom our allegiances and honours bestow

How oh mum, have your ears to indigent kids` cries closed

Who from war till date doth heavily suffer?

For biological and economic war ever heard

Where blood oozed like that of Christian martyrs

Made Biafra kids vicariously suffer

And yet cuddle in penury with injustices

A good mum like you can`t long her ears closed

A weeping child must be attended to

For decades Biafra kids bitterly doth weep

Beckoning mother-freedom to their shackles ramshackle

Behold the kids in pains upon one another throng

Oh helplessly in supine groaning for freedom

Oh helplessly in supine groaning for freedom

Who again can intervene but mother of our world

MEMORIES OF OUR SUFFERING

By the Niger Riverside—

There we slumped, yea, slumped

And our eyes wept to blue

When we saw blood of our men massacred at Asaba

At Abagana we were transfixed with fears

We resorted for disgrace, yea for disgrace

When our annihilation became inevitable

As war-planes covered the air bombing man

Our tongues hanged on top of roof of our mouths

When through pogrom like fowls we were killed

When blockades leeway for us impeded

Like whirlpool we turned round and round with disdain

Our blood ran cold, yea in mourning

When seen our infants look older than octogenarian

They lacked food, shelters and shirts

And few world saw us as not committed sacrilege

When the ill-wind was over

Though the scars evergreen remain

As the portions of nation`s wealth were allotted

We saw ourselves a tribe only good at second fiddle

Oh because of us – Biafra

The world lacked legal experts

Who on war crimes truly can sue

As economic blockade, pogrom and annihilation plan worked.

BIAFRA THE VISION OF OUR PAST HEROES

Biafra! Biafra!! Oh, Biafra!!!

The vision of our past heroes be

The yearning hope of posterity

When a reality to us will you be?

The tribe with unique unity

The land of the rising Sun

Endowed with Solomon-like wisdom

Now poised to unique nation build

Biafra! Biafra!! Oh Biafra!!!

By agency of nature you escaped annihilation

By agency of nature survival you did see

Hope by agency of God nationhood you attain

You are the land of the rising Sun

The leader-servant to humanity

In every realm of life your posterity serve

And dominate with mercy and love for the helpless

Where you are suppressed justice there is covered

And people there at you die

For in the ugliness of injustice they`ll be groaning

Biafra the hope for the teeming future

27 YEARS IN FREEDOM FIGHTING JOURNEY

A day in punitive incarceration

Like a million dark years be

But with joy that for people freedom is fought

Like passing trance the years be.

27 years the journey painfully took

Weary, dreary, with oppressors` fury

And with darkness making the hopeful future vain

But patience the eternity of woes overrides

When the Sun lingers to rise

And the West bears the brunt of the darkness

There is a grip of eclipse somewhere

Hope, glorious dawn certainly must appear.

Many years with stigma of timidity—

May not forever count

As Africa and child in it wallow

So shall she in plenty and freedom wallow

My heart gladdens to freedom wear

My joy know no bond to freedom wear

My expectation for Africa whole freedom

Shall as mine like glorious dawn appear.

CHILD LABOUR

Force me not to child-labour wear.

For under the Sun a time for everything be

Time to a child be, time to adult be

And time for everything Creator had made

Taking the jobs above a child tender age—

Like improper load to his searching brain be

Yea, straying from what I`m up to

Eternal derailment from child chance be

Force me not to child-labour wear

Neither let battered economy same do

For where economy unfavourably to a child be

Force-labour a leeway seems

The child when as a house-help be

Turns to child-adult without measure

For cruel-foster one burdens him with laden

And his life in co control of misery be

Oh, no child from 3rd world free be

For been engulfed with battered economy

A child becomes loanable just to survive

And leaders become bombastic in curing the mess.

RISING STAR OF FREEDOM FOR BIAFRA

Welcome oh thou long expected rising Star

The people`s redemption Star

Thou messenger of hope

To giants on our way crush

Though like fearful star you will appear

Wading thick cloud of anarchy—

That people on fetters held

On you Star of freedom we hope

Rising star – messenger of deliverance

Rising Sun – broader illumination to our dark

Where Sun and Star for redemption come

Our shackles a ramshackle must be

Rising Star, oh rising Star

By the riverside we wait, wail

For decades on repression we feed

Shorten your time and us redeem now

On the wings of messenger stars

We for joy of freedom shall fly

Like joyful trillions of shooting stars above

Shall our joy and thanks to Yahweh be.

WAR IS HORROR

War verily is horror

It`s not true test of might be

It`s not true test of might be

War is verily horror

The conqueror of war

Is but peace, yes peace

A wise man`s might and prowess

Are measured by peace he posses

What in donkey years

War could not achieved

In a twinkling of an eye

Peace at finger tip has it

A foolish leader

Boast of arms to achieve

But a wise leader achieves

Great with instrument of peace

Where peace hides

Man of impunity is on the throne

Where peace hides

Crises the people`s home takes

Let therefore peace separate us

Instead of crises uniting us

Let Biafra live, reign within her sovereignty

Let her enemies survive outside the border

THE GENUS – BILL GATES

Bill Gate

The Icon and guru

Of modern computer works

The world on your innate work doth feeds

You genus!

Your works

Our world changed fine

Hard works so easily now made

The world owes you thanks, thanks and thanks

Oh man!

World over

Can`t without it

Do the myriad of pen works

Thanks to God who wisdom to you gave

Thank Him!

Our lives

Now can have

Meaning because

Of your creative works of computer

Live long.

OH, BLESSED HOPE COME

Come

Blessed hope

To our hearts

Longings and desires

Duly fill and uphold

We the Biafrans long in tears

And in sorrows wait for freedom

Justice us for long our noble course

Eludes and deprivation our lots from oppressors

Be, oh blessed hope like twinkling star come now

We

Wandered

Away in penury

Occasioned by wars

In plights of hunger

And sorrows we died

When foes with pogrom doth us chase

For we were by them genocide fettered

And to the post pushed for crucifixion

Thou our rising sun break for our freedom

Come

Freedom come

To our fetters loose

Our eyes are dried with

Hot, sorrowful, painful tears

On the hands of oppressors we loose

Weights, hopes, rights, and freedom daily

How can humans so fettered live healthy, wealthy?

So we cry so sore, oh hope bring us freedom

You

Freedom

Fighters never up

Give till victory at

Last be and freedom

Wear soon among those in line

Jingle the bell for freedom

Onward move and fear no enemy

Though not all very easy for freedom fight

But like many other nations for sure you shall win.

HOPE IN OUR MERE UNITY SHAKY

Do not lose hope in our unity

Looks like passionate appeal that—

Can only stand where unity is allowed

And where unity formerly exists

Where religious bigotry prevails

Where gruesome murder on religious sentiment

Yes, where dichotomy all prevail

Hotly threaten what looks like unity there

Tribalism pet aversion of unity be

Political dictatorship unity doth thwarts

Oppression against the weak and helpless fights

The hope in unity to any people loosens

Where consensus ad idem is lacking

Where political and military hegemony lopsidedly be

Where the axiom: born to rule prevails

Other hearts there lose hope for formidable unity

Unity abhorres discrimination too much

Discrimination fights unity too much

Where fused tribes each other suspects

Hearts there lose hope for formidable unity.

CRISES TO HUMANITY

Crises, oh crises all where

Tormenting, holding us at ransom

Who the cause is

And to whose glory: God or Satan

Rumours of wars and wars proper

Pestilence on us ravages

And on aching fear we flutter

And to whose glory: God or Satan

The Economy downwards drifts

Political dictatorship us dominates

Sickness in millions multiply

And death people`s souls frozen

Infidelity matrimonial beds soils

Youths moral values frown at

Teenagers on clothes of delinquencies done

And lawless unbridle our homes ruins

Our endemic crossroad now be—

The leaders fatally are failing us

With confusion ahead can`t forge

And like whirlpool we fume round

Who the world now can save

As people in array to woes march

And with no certificate of redemption in hand

Oh God, to you the specialist, our help be.

WE ARE NOT GOD, BUT GOD SENT

We are not God but real God sent

Allow us self-determination

From our agenda within a time we`ll feed mouths

Cloth the destitute and house the homeless

We are not God but real God sent

When from far our home we settle

The world at peace will dwell

For prince of peace the world we shall give

We are not God but real God sent

When the demarcation curtain is tore

Those in captivity of mafia and cabals

Freedom very complete their garment shall be

We are not God but real God sent

Few steps away after our nationhood

Poverty stigma Africa free from it shall be

And fairness shall us empower compete for mastery

We are not God but real God sent

When Biafra ultimately a nation be

To draw others out of bondage our task shall be

For bondage and slavery against God be.

POVERTY TRAP – THE CAUSES

Poverty trap a stigma so active here

Vicious circle lacks leads to poverty trap

A generation just in a like bushel covered

And in painful grips of poverty trap held

Consumption of what should be re-invested

A decrease to future capital leads

A sure road to poverty trap opens

And stagnation to profit the result be

Where fore-knowledge of building—

New factories, roads, and infrastructures lack

Embarrassing route to poverty trap assured

For consuming all now make future profits stagnant

Where fore-knowledge for increasing the—

Years or quality of education, increasing the—

Stocks of useful technical knowledge verily retard

Progress of future productivity of economy retards

Where specialized capitals are woefully lacking

Where specialized labours are woefully lacking

Make the economy survive by borrowing

And ever borrowing precipitate land into poverty trap

Where labour renting instead is selling for slavery

On the wings of primitive economic method still be

Where the lubricant that exchange facilitates lacks

Dwindles market and stabilizes poverty trap.

THE RICH BECOME RICHER

Oh how the Rich richer be

And the poor poorer, yes, poorer be

But the sun equally over us shines

And rains equal share to all gives

Nine months in belly we all be

And to earth full-figured perhaps we all come

What edge have the rich over the poor?

That richer he be and poorer the poor be

The dominion over our earth`s few fortunes

Our parents’ inability to equality fought against

The survival of the fittest that mars justice

The reason could perhaps verily be

The un-divine desire to fellow man lords

The un-divine desire of man all earth own

The un-divine desire of man to angelic respect own

Make the fortunate few rich in influence ever grow.

The poor ever in poverty sorrowfully remains

The Rich wallows in galloping influence

Making the poor ever to his apron string stick.

Making the poor ever in artificial humility to the Rich bows

Though born equal to unequal be

And earth her bounties inequitably apportions

But if justice and love the garment of people had been

Joy and sorrow at least would have been fairly parted.

NONE IS MOST BEAUTIFUL

None from the set is the fairest be

Only your eyes fairest so exudes

The Creator so various them made

That choices can`t on few be restricted

The blondes of the set are good

As the brunettes are on the target

The slim-fits appeal to the eyes make

As the robust attractions verily command

The queen on palace never edge has—

Over a mad woman who on dust-bins feeds

For on sexual urge and arousal they ran par

As in monthly running menses they run par

A particular beauty varies as sand of sea-shore

A man that can the most choose from its random group

Is yet to be found among men

For task that faced Moses before Jethro`s seven is there

A victim of infatuation is he that for—

A particular abstract facial beauty dies

Who should have along the streets see various

And choice on nature`s alternative providence made

None of the set is the fairest be

For the bevies` beauties are but equal

Some in the face, body or shape, while some in characters

But beauty that reflects character is adjudged the best.

MAKE PEACE ULTIMATE

Where peace is desired

Fetters all should lose their grips

But where peace is fettered

Conflicts on stage is loosed to parade

Dialogue and oil sooth rotten parts

Dialogue the salt against conflict be

In a land where conflict wave sways

Needs seasoned dialogue from seasoned brains

It is not a wise step be

To use pepper to an aching eye heal

Nor quelling a troubled water—

With angry and ravaging typhoon

Where troubles and impunities prevail

Lacks humans resourceful with peace

There is crowd of selfish humans

Who in their tiara are bloods of helpless

Where heaven is far from humanity

The land a like thundercloud covered with

Crimes wave like thunderstorm rovers

While confusion of their reasons take.

KUDOS TO GATES AND MELINDA FOUNDATION

Oh Gates and Melinda foundation

How a pencil in hand of Most High—

Have you been re-writing tales of poverty trap

Especially in the third or developing world

Verily on the wings of benevolent and mercy

You selflessly allow your passion fly

The indents heaves sigh of total relief

And world the light of your passion illuminates

Your various cardinal fore-sights

Unparallel in alleviating world`s burdens be

For the world in garment of starvation clothed

You set to in garment of plenty clothing

The world because of starvation in crossroad be

Helpless kids of 3rd world supine in fetters of hunger fall

Few political leaders little concern have

Starvation and sicknesses kingdom of man ravage

May the hand of Divine on you forever be

As with benevolent spirit you doth bent to—

Relieving and giving meaning to indigents

Who on the fetters of poverty trap are held.

ARISE! OH AFRICA!

Let Africa arise, yea, let her arise

To political dictatorship fight

To marginalization against helpless fight

To travesty of justice indeed against fight

Let Africa arise, yea, let her arise

To political neo-colonialisms fight

To bitter roots on her thrones uproot

To wars bitterly ravaging the land stop

How beautiful and unique the land is

But woefully by mediocre run

Our dreams to survive can ever be illusory

If shackles against justice unloosen remain

Let Ecowas and her likes in other sub-region—

Arise to causes of political unrest fight

Let Africa her originality wake up to

And frowns foreign influence create our glorious dawn

Non-recognition of our small clans—

The errors of erstwhile leaders

Infusion of heterogeneous tribes to one be

The cause of rancor, freedom agitation here be.

WELCOME HOME OH LOST TRIBE

From the midst of your loving brethren

To a like journey of return no more

Thou art hopelessly away wandered

And greatly thou art tied in rope of woes

Without hope and in cold of winter

You strayed and nurse your kids

How oh, the promise of the father you long missed

And humiliation by the uncircumcised you`re clothed

How oh, have your name so changed

Like your fellows in prophet Ezra`s era

In heathen land you so were dispersed

So fed much with indignations of uncircumcised

I came with the name Hebrews

Socialization process turned me to Ibru

And metamorphosed yet into Ibo

And I have no ancestral trace of origin here

Oh let time speedily come

When promise of restoration of dispersed sons of Jacob

Shall from all corners up gather them

The Ibrus, the Ibos shall in the numbers be.

AT THE CROSSROAD OF POVERTY TRAP

The poor curses daily in anguish doth rain

The poor sorrows daily in anguish doth exude

As hunger the marrows of life doth ruin

And helpless the home and future look

Who his child can`t to attend

Who his child`s hunger wish not to solve

Who his sick and maim ones wish not attend to

If the providence for life up-kempt there were

Where a land so dry against the poor be

Darkness of helplessness the land so inundated

And the fuming screams of their woes openly heard

The heavens fidget, pace around in restlessness

Our land, the world oh now rule by hopelessness

The established institutions here crumble

The matrimonial homes in disarray, helter skater pose

And the leaders covered with ignorance of our woes.

The poor weep, wail and wither away

And the offspring are bequeathed with poverty traps

In a world where hopes and future elude one

Is only a bastion of disaster, disaster, disaster

ONWARD FORWARD GO.

Onward bravely forward go

All ye few freedom fighters

Freedom fighters are always but few

Fighting for many, and many posterity

So never at back look nemesis backs you

The world with survival of fittest bedeviled

Man to man desires to enslave always

Dominating the kingdom of man for one

Commanding worship and dominion to him

Desiring that God over to him hand the world

Thou art oh man freedom fighter

The key to people`s joy to life thou art

Though your dear life the job threatens

Your freedom even in bottle may be

But by agency of nemesis freedom must come.

One a volunteer for freedom fighting—

With huge and egregious sacrifice should be

Facing the opposition and the foes

Who the bridges across to freedom land

Will ever vow never to suffer you enter

No time under the sun can they completely one be

Who freedom from political marginalization need

Sabotage and brinkmanship must tend to tear

Fear and fierce battle discouragement will induce

But few valiant have always the game won.

IN UMBRELLA OF UN CHARTER I ABIDE

I have no crime, yea, no crime

Only that I cry freedom, yea, freedom

Like those in bondage, I cry for freedom

I have no crime, yea, I have no crime

An apostle of UN verily I am

Propagating her charter, yea, her charter

On right to self-determination

I have no crime, yea, no crime

In incarceration painfully I languish

My right to be, yea, my right to live

Political dictator with impunity doth infringe

And marginalization, yea, garment of my people be

Non-inclusive type of leadership here

The reason I fight to my people free

Our sect out of the land indirectly have outlawed

And freedom only our blinking future can save

Where are the jurists, lawmakers that—

UN charter on self-determination enacted

Do they mean what the charter conveys?

If they do, let my shackle ramshackle be

We need freedom, yea, freedom

Many decades in fetters Biafra needs freedom

For this cause I, prisoner for them become

Freedom, freedom, Biafra needs freedom

DON`T QUIT, QUITTERS NEVER WIN

The oily like colour of the rising sun

For the morning of our hopeful day

Through the feeble minds of hopers piercing

Stressing quit not for quitters never win

As no mortal being freedom own

And can no freedom to any in bond gives

Divine freedom freely doth mortal gives

So let`s not quit, for quitters never wins

No true lasting freedom comes devoid opposition

The Spirit that freedom to man gives

Wait to your sacrifice of patience see

So don`t quit, for quitters never win

Freedom fighting is never by all carried

Freedom joy is by all embrace

Few fight and die perhaps, for freedom

But all live and freedom enjoy

Even rains shall jump for joy

Day God`s freedom on seat for us shall sit

Both domestic and wild animals shall long to speak

As birds of the air up and down shall swoop in melodies

Oh quit not, for quitters never win

As history affirms winners never quit

On the hand of freedom giver shall Biafra—

Yes, suffering Biafra shall shoulder high be lifted

THEY LIKE US PARTRIDGE EVER BE

The black continent Africa and Caribbean

How has nature so badly visited you?

What as weak like partridge made you be

Turning you worldwide indignity oh black race

The incursion of foreigners into black land

A blow of indignity to us heavily doth made

Racism against Africa becomes unbridled

And Africa like partridge to them ever stands

On wings of cultural confusion we fly

Our ancestral nationhood, national language

And national identity into extinction geared

Face of black person becomes a portion to be spat upon

If restoration of trampled dignity of blacks hold not

A fact is, a man who in a shack lives cannot—

With respect at a place expect to be treated

Because to reclaim power, dignity we must first reclaim

The instrument of cultural incompetence

Endemic corruption, dignified ineptitude and—

Destructive selfishness renders us a like partridge be

From inception we ability to hunt, gather, and lead ourselves lack.

By reason of slavery trade like partridge they want us be

By reason of neo-colonialism like partridge they like us be

By influence of their policies like partridge they like us be

By poor leadership like partridge we`re made be

KWASHIORKOR

Kwashiorkor!

Gown`s alleged gift rain-boot to Biafra kids

Makes one tapered `nyaas`, protruded belly

His hands so tiny and in akimbo like spider be

Oh the third world!

How malnutrition our brain ravages

Sending children back to mire of helplessness

As parents solutions can`t to child proffer

The African child!

Brunt bearer of poor leadership be

As war Biafra kids on their kneels made bent

So insurgency on North East kwashiorkor sent

The child`s health!

On ratio of 50:50 survival hope be

And parents` hearts on edge doth hang

They both suffer brunt of leaders` tussle for powers

The pathetic cries of woes!

At IDP camps of North East Nigeria

The jibrata rock easily can break

As sickness and humidity light of hope blur

The highest luxury of!

African child rates low to dog`s care elsewhere

Oh see mother and child like dry rat be

Because food to keep soul and body one lacking

WHAT STAKE HAS THE POOR IN THE GAME OF THRONE

See defenseless poor helter skater flee

The powerful bullets chase, pierce and overtake them

How vicarious the helpless poor suffer—

The brunt of selfish leaders’ errors

The insurgency on the poor attacks

The angry militants on the poor attacks

The soldiers on mutiny on the poor attacks

And hunger there from on the poor attacks

The office of a leader is protected

The shacks of the poor is more shacks made

Non, yes, of menu of nobles are tampered

But the poor on malnutrition are placed

The air fighter ravaging fiercely on air

Is verily afraid of the leaders

But only brave on the poor be

The poor never can causes of crises tell

The helpless like grass is regarded

And food nobles graze for sustenance

For they are used as executors of wars

And the `golden children of leaders quarantined

Is the condition created by God?

No. But loveless man desires to others enslave

Greedy to own all earth and thrones forever

The man`s wish not of the Creator.

THE ROAD MANY FORSAKE

The hard road many forsake

That road you have taken

Just for your people`s freedom

How great is your selflessness

The Sun freely on man light gives

The Rain waters man`s ground freely

But it`s hard for man to things freely give

But yourself for man`s freedom you freely give

Agitation for political freedom

A task and road many dread

Its hurdles makes the bond prefers—

To a slave ever remains

Freedom the desire of the bond be

But fighting for freedom his pet-aversion be

So whoever risks his life for freedom fight

Is a noble who history mutters his praise

So the road not taken by many

Though in dire need of freedom

Have thou courageously taken

How great is your selflessness

CHRIST – THE AWESOME SAVIOUR AND JUDGE

What love and disarming humility

From Him who havoc easily can rake

But who for passion for lost souls

Bent as weakling to his foes

What a love and disarming humility

From a grand commander of our earth et universe

Who only breathe of His nostrils can His enemies wipe

But willingly to enemy soldiers Himself gave

Oh, the Lord that unparallel powers have

Who ten thousand Angels at once could have commanded

But only to starve hell and Satan of souls

He disarmed Himself to be crucified

Ho! Now see on white judgment seat He sits

The earth and all in it from Him away flee

They bitterly wail the foes that Him pierced

When in glory and supremacy He at last appear

But why do the heathens rage?

He questions though to no one

For He knows His rights and powers

He promises to His enemies devastates

The Lord of glory and power is He

Judgment is His portion only

Behold kings, and princes file at His judgment

To rewards of their deeds accordingly receive.

PAINS – LIFE`S INEVITABLE

Under the Sun there exist avoidable pains

Under the Sun there also exist unavoidable pains

Humanity in all suffers both.

For rewards of Adam`s error was pains.

In your life journey here pray—

God lead me not into avoidable pains

But grant me grace to avoidable pains bear

And life more meaningful will to me be.

Avoidable pains from sins result

Unavoidable pains from sins also result

As from Adam to us verily pains spread

It`s only grace that both pains alleviates

Pains a phenomena to our world be

Even earthly crowns pains have too

To every of our joy has value added pains

So pains is life`s thorns ever be

Unavoidable pains pregnancy labour is

She that desires child so desires it

Only grace can such ameliorates

Only her that before God walks

Trials of life the cause of pains also be

But one in God avoidable pains can evade

As Angels his steps divinely direct

Man in pains can less bitterly cry.

Roads not taken pains many pushed into

Roads taken many pains forced forsake

Life becomes tasteless when pains be

Vision becomes blurred when pains be.

INSPIRE ME TO PERFORM OH LORD.

Oh, God my father inspire me—

To feats, yea feats perform

To extra-ordinary good works perform

So as from the crowd stand out

With your mighty hands on me—

Any divine project with me prospers

Help me to your kingdom build

And with your wealth my place `ll be enlarged

Your ways oh, Lord is peace

Make me giant in peace

Establish me for your works

And in you I will be known

Inspire me Lord to good works do

So that a vessel of honour I`ll be

Doing good works through you for men

Inspire me Lord like David of old

That giant on the field I can conquer

That ravaging stormy sea I can quell

And like gold after here I`ll ever glitter.

HOPE SUSTAINS LIFE

Where there is no hope

One lives like in dry desert

One lives like in dry desert

Yea, where there is no hope

A hopeless life hopes against hope

Like those in dry desert

Where there is no dew for thirsty lilies

And green vegetation no place there secures

Hope a core ruder to life

On it life cherishes living illusions

And with if battles the unknown

Hope – the garment of refreshing

The living is made to on hope swing

Hope as a core foundation of life be

A hopeless life on purposeless life be

So life without hope lacks songs of joy

Hope life strength at wit-end

The springboard to cross far horizon

The anchor for the feeble feet

And the eyes to see hidden fortune ahead

He that hopes to hopeless creates

A life in coma can resuscitate

Be hope builder to our hopeless world

And hopeless will be re-awaken to natural smiles.

GOD THE GIVER OF LIFE

Oh God, thou art life

And verily giver of life

You came for us to have life

For one without thee lacks life

Oh God thou art peace

The very fountain of peace

In you oh Christ there is life

One outside you lacks peace

Thy joy oh Lord our strength is

For you are joy to the sorrowful

With joy we tap from your salvation

Yea, your joy our hearts gladdens

Thou oh Lord is but power

For from you emanate power

In you radiate power

One outside you lacks power

Life, peace, joy and power art yours

From you the earth has them

No kingdom without you has power

And no end to your power

WE SEE THE GLORY AND NOT THE STORY

The journey of a man too terse may be

Leading to creeping, bleeding and weeping

We easily see at end the glory

But forget to know the story.

No man at stardom easily comes

Mountains of wit-end many times see

The world easily sees at end the glory

But forget to tell the story

Lonely a man fights for survival

Sometimes tottering in highway of success

Friends at table easily see the glory

But forget to tell the story

Through scratching for palm kennel in bushes

Some to stardom in life climbed

But men easily see the glory

And forget to tell the story.

Risking in the road many deserted

Succeeding in the most dreary road at last

We easily see the glory

But forget to tell the story.

BEGAN WITH SORROW

I came, I heard and saw

The poor boy cries

Oh how, oh why doth so cry

What joy to live like an orphan?

Sorrows his portion, perhaps, be

For sickness that mother cat killed

Never its young ones allow—

Their tender eyes open

I came, I heard and saw

The child in total nude be

Not even a sarong to boast

And the tender skin cold shelters

How on earth so helplessly one came

His root, his route, to here so be

For none in such place can better of be

Oh condition one`s condition determines

Can a mother, a child into woes born?

Though not intention but she can

No cradle above parents` status be

And so the child lives to poverty trap gripped.

HELP THE HELPLESS

Help the beggars in our midst

Help the blind in our midst

Jesus the Saviour says:

“As you do it unto of these—

Oh you do it unto me!

Aid the cripples around you

Aid the deaf around you

Jesus our Saviuor urges:

“As you do it unto one of these—

Oh you do it unto me!

Assist the orphans around you

Assist the helpless widows there

Jesus our Lord declares:

“As you do it unto one of these—

Oh you do it unto me!

Look people crying of woes

Provide succor for world in darkness

Jesus our Redeemer says:

“As you do it unto one of these—

Oh you do it unto me!

Fight, liberating the bonds

Carry my saving name over the world

Jesus the Lord of lords says:

Oh you do it unto me!

I SEEK FOR A FRIEND

I seek a friend who can hear me when I call

And who can lift me when I fall

I did not see it in any other place

I see it only in Jesus.

I seek for one who his life for my sins can give

Who my sins only can forgive

I did not see it in any other place

But only seen in Jesus

I know of him who for me fought

Who with his blood me bought

I knew no other person

But I know it was only Jesus

I know of a man who for from death rose

Who with his blood made me like flower rose

I did not in any other see it

But only seen in Jesus.

THE RISING SUN FOR USA

The Rising sun`s rays

Oh gloriously on God`s own—

Country, yea on her doth radiate

For her glowing morning at last breaks

God`s own country

The Rising Sun hails, yea hails

And loving her symbol – Biafra much

Oh both like father and son in love woo.

Let the Rising Sun now shine

Let it shine brighter without fear

Let God`s own country the Rising Sun wear

For both Divine had paired for greatness

Biafra the Rising Sun

The world doth set to illuminate

God`s own country the world accommodates

In hollow of God`s palm the duo the world will bless

THE BIBLE STANDS OVER ALL.

Edit not rather study the Bible

Studying it its eternal truths unveils

Editing it its eternal truths questions

Edit not rather study the Bible

The Bible above anyone greater be

For forever in glory it is settled

Lived eternally before our world be

So edit not rather study the Bible

No government power over Bible has

So attempting editing it utra-vires be

It is forever the mind of God

So edit not rather study it.

Editing or move to, one`s throne can cause

And the pestilence malignantly to men rain

Let the authoritative word alone stand

For the Divine is able to guide it.

Edit not rather study the Bible

For the straying minds it tames

Makes listening government rule well

So edit not rather study the Bible.

If you proposed to the Bible edit

And expunge to vital parts proposed

The wrath of the Divine to you hotly awaits

And here no peace you can have before men.

LET AMERICA BE GREAT AGAIN IN GOD

You are God`s own country

For that you chose to be called

The God of heaven you dearly loved

And we cherish that name too much

The God`s own country

A name you lived for

For with it in God you trust

And the business of God priority gave

The name God`s own country

A watchword against evils made you

And missionaries for Christ kept you

Your laws were from holy writ inspired

But how the name Satan`s was turning—

A surprise to all and sundry be

Immorality through porn your export be

The love for Christ your pet-aversion turned

Oh for once you ruled the world with—

Peace, purity, truth, and holiness of God

You bent preaching Christ, sending Bibles

And your children to Christ directed

Oh let God`s own country—

Again great, and greatly be made

Oh let USA be made to her Christ turn to

And the world will run to her for Christ.

IS GOVERNMENT CAGED

What family under the Sun—

One verily desired to be

That sheds like water bloods of members

Has truth to beholders to convince

What countries under the Sun—

With languages and cultural divides

Who together hope to one be

But with impunity others kill has truth to tell

Where Religious bigotry fanaticism upholds

Is ignorance of democracy gentle dictates?

And never for sanctity of life can vouch

Bur when the pretense explodes the helpless are massacred

Religion, a gentle norm for people should be

And agent of positive change should be

Where devout are armed with pernicious Arms

Is far from inclination to God of love

Weaker than water is that government

Where religious bigotry undo its laws

And where government bigotry can`t contain

Has invariably consent given that people be slain

Where religious divide rears its head

One should not the support of government have

For where government religious partisanship be

Has founded bigotry to her land verily controls

SLAVES TO DISCRIMINATION

One of the clouds that—

Human faces still cover

Art but discrimination

Discrimination, yea, discrimination

Discrimination where its roots be

Develops with development

But adversely counters development

Discrimination innocence of development be

Where man slave to illiteracy be

Can easily by education be healed

Discrimination blood of elite can chain

And makes his fellow human abhors

Though political slavery many may not be

But in the cocking chains of discrimination

Many are tied and to hatred drawn

Discrimination overwhelms naïve minds

Why slave to discrimination be

Oh even racial discrimination

It limits brain’s liberality

And makes one feel more righteous than God.

Light of civilization discrimination darkens

But light of love discrimination erases

Were our world to discrimination had frowned

Light of love to every home would have been.

THE BIBLE!

THERE IT STANDS!

Where childhood needs a standard

Or youth a beacon light

Where sorrow sighs for comfort

Or weakness longs for might,

Bring forth the holy Bible,

The Bible! There it stands!

Resolving all life`s problems

And meeting its demands.

Though sophistry conceal it

The Bible! There it stands!

Though Pharisees profane it,

Its influence expands;

It fills the world with fragrance

Where sweetness never cloys;

It lifts our eyes to heaven,

It heightens human joy.

Despised and tore in pieces

By infidels decried—

The thunderbolt of hatred,

The haughty cynics of pride—

All these have railed against it.

In this and other hands,

Yet dynasties have fallen,

And still the Bible stands!

To paradise a highway,

The Bible! There it stands!

Its promises unfailing,

Nor grievous its commands;

It points man to the Saviour,

The Lover of his soul,

Salvation is its watchword,

Eternity its goal!

THE TRUMPET

Trump is a sound for alert

It never sound without a purpose

People are re-awakened for action

When trump sounds, sounds and sounds.

If trump is not for war

For peace ultimately it sounds

Calling to unity people of like minds

Trump yea, the agent of change be

Trump an old but ever new tool be

The strength of ready soldiers

The warning to carefree soldiers

Trump sounds when for a purpose

If trump sounds in God`s own country

Oh, it be symbol of God`s trump be—

To our world soon shall sound

Making people alert of His judgment be

Activities of the battered earth

By the trump of God shall be swallowed

When leaders and the peoples—

Shall by God`s trump be summoned.

Be not in haste to trump voice stifled

Make rooms for its sound to people reach

For where soundness really abounds

Have no need of sound of trumpet.

LIFE CHANGES

Life is very dynamic

Change can it never resist

Like vapour it away varnishes

And body to grave at last lay.

At cradles to our eyes starts

To infant, teen, youth age turns

The very cradle now adult turns

Passing change, change, yes change

Mountains ever same remain

Waters ever same remain

But life in various transitions be

And like vapour diminishing away

Who life can predict

Today young and pretty

And clothed after with ugly

Changes from poverty, to rich to death

Very precious at dawn

Becomes irksome at dusk

Hopes to own all at dawn

Desires none yes none at dusk.

THANKS, WARREN BUFFETT.

Like a drop

From hearty philanthropist

It came a donation for the poor

To send smiles to poverty stricken kids

Like a Saviour

He came, intervened

Ere diseases our kids squeeze

Who in poor world with death struggle

Bill and Melinda

The vessels of honour for use

Who the donation like life valued

And with it lives now live

From your gestures

Polio will soon be history

Yes even in our time

Endemic malaria will end

Optimistic, yes!

No one will die from AIDS

Few ones will TB get

And infant mortality history be

Thanks to Warren B.

The attentive listening ears

To Macedonian help calls

Now health replacing sick and sorrow.

BEHOLD CHRIST COMETH

Behold He cometh

Lord of life

To visit lives

Here on earth.

Life on earth

Though it`s on

Soon shall go

When Christ cometh

Check yourself now

Run race well

Behold He cometh

When not aware

Kingdom of God

Ready to come

Only to those

Who own Christ

Angels shall shout

Heralding His time

Dead shall rise

Born Again fly.

Hallelujah on high

Saints shall shout

When at last

Their Saviour met.

WHY OH, AFRICA!

Why Africa, oh Africa why

Weeping baby every generation be

And kids true tastes of life never see?

Dancing in jeopardy like one in soldier ants` bites

A land that only on borrow lives

Shall never in any good virtues giant be

So Africa and kids weeping baby ever be

Seeking ever humanity grants to survive

The road to economic survival

Africa`s longest and uncertain be

And interminable her cares and woes be

While insurmountable the cares and woes be

How have your cares and laggings

A leeway to economic boom—

To your lenders brigantly turn

Making you borrower, sorrowful ever be

Does Africa serendipity lacks

Oh no, not at all does lack

Only overwhelm by joy of plenty bounties

And made poor by dearth of good leaders

When shall Africa Arise?

When shall she victor over poverty be?

When shall she lend to her lenders now

When shall her kids dance in joy for conquest over poverty?

IN PEDIGREE OF POVERTY TRAPS

The grips of poverty trap on us—

So firm, oh so firm, so strongly

The vicissitude from parents to son rotates

All weep, and teeth gnash in helplessness

The story of how father in his days suffered

A like more of the suffering the son tells

Who the gap have filled – none

For in pedigree of poverty trap they file

My father by dry kennel from fallows survived

Wow, son surviving by dreg in the fallow

Who the roads to poverty trap leads

Father or son, perhaps.

If change everything affects

And life effortlessly resists change

How is poverty trap here—

Defies change to prosperity nets?

CRAZY NATION

What a nation with crazy on corruption

With crazy children to hand-over

Oh what crazy future it will face

When crazy the land doth submerged

The youths crazy in delinquencies be

Madden with rush without wisdom

Oh crazy in occult and violence

Submerging our world into murder

What a nation with confused leaders

Only maddened with ineptitude and non-inclusive rule

Leading the children culture inertia

And moral rectitude extinction goes

What a crazy nation in bastion of confusion

Training youth with hybrid nonsensical

As they die rather than live with ICT

The world living with negative side of ICT

What a crazy nation in pride

Where many are playing

Where few are working

Oh how doth their today, future groovy be?

MARANATHA.

Maranatha! He`s coming soon

The reigning slogan of gone Born Again

That to alert always kept them

Maranatha! Christ is coming soon.

The bristle freshness of—

He’s coming soon

Their faith and strength renewed

And their hopes rekindled

Maranatha, worldliness defies

The urges to sins re-embrace

Marnatha strongly overrode

As heaven land always in view

Oh weak Christians of today

To the slogan maranatha re-awake

To march in the news of His coming soon

And ready, ready all times be

The bristle freshness of the slogan

Hope of glory a revival be

Decision-fire igniter be

As they work, wait, watch for His coming.

SOURCES OF CRISIS

Foundation of potential crises

Yes, is where government and leaders

Themselves consider above the laws be

And the laws under them be

Foundation of potential crises

Yes, is where leaders selfish be

Arrogating to themselves only powers to be

And the helpless serf of their jurisdiction be

Foundation of potential failure

Yes, is where leaders people`s treasury loot

Amassing wealth with impunity

Creating avenue for engulfing poverty traps

Foundation of potential recessions

Yes, is where leaders ineptitude be

Where economy downward doth drift

And people wrangle with tangling hungers

Foundation of potential crises is

Where justice to the just is denied

Where criminality is enthrone with fanfare

And the throne veil with alarming falsehood.

WRONG SIDE OF SOCIALIZATION

A child like Angel at birth doth be

Who spotless mind of divine has

With tender harmless spirit like lamb

Who our wrongs ignorant of be

Like yam-tendril he doth be

Who any direction can easily adapt

If the wrong side of life comes he goes

And that is only by adult socializing

Our weaknesses to child inculcates

When by socialization from adult he learns

How to curse, mock and fight

The child from adult freely learns

How to a lasting malice keep

By socialization the child learns

How to wrangle and conflict keep

The child by adult teaches

What a world the world would have had

If the new world of a child

Unspoiled by adult leaves to be

And their unfeigned love leaves to be

For such is the kingdom of heaven

The holy writ verily declares

The heart that dichotomy and evils lack

Where meekness like gentle Dove dwells

Let quarrelling adults a leaf

From child wisely borrow

Who his large heart for love

Can`t evils and malice contain

SNAKE WEEPING, REGRETTING

I regret to a stooge be

In the hand of enemy of Divine

Causing disorder to Divine set order

Setting the world on endless chaos rolling

The earth and man perfect creation be

A stooge, yes a stooge I be

Ignorant of devices of Satan

I lured the woman to err and ruined our peace

Who the glory of fallen world had seen

A prototype of Creator`s maiden work

A place He relaxes with man

I lured the woman to err and ruined the union

To crawl, crawl with belly all life

And sands my basic menu be

The rewards of being a stooge

To the hand of enemy of Divine

The unity of animals thwarted.

I am worst hated by animals

The gathering of animals I can`t attend

And in man`s home I dare not

Sorry Snake for been repudiated

No home, yes no home for Snake

No peace within snakes

Just for being a stooge in Satan`s hand

Can I recourse from Divine have

Wow, methinks, no

So if the earth endless years here runs

Crawling, eating sands, no unity, my portion be.

NIGHT, AUTHORITY AGAINST WORKING

Night though time of darkness in each 24 hours be

Has yet mysterious faces to:

The earth where her realm be

It could be a time when activities cease to be

The mystery of night

Our finite brains doth surpass

It is so ironic to mortal brains be

Night is so deep, so wide, so high

Night on 3 prongs ill may come

As sickness, old age and death

Night as these to mortals may visit

And on each, yes, activities cease

The very ante-dot to night effects

Is to make haste while the sun shines

Where laziness undermines her effects

Causes one regret, regret all eternity

When one`s night comes

He can to the days he saved fall back

But where no days were saved

The night turns eternity of sorrow

So work while it`s still the day

No human works when power dries

As human is limited to a space

So is the victim of inevitable night

THE LAST HOUR.

Hour: one of the 24 divisions of a day

The regulator of activity of man

Though it fills the earth

But very, very scarce to a man

What if you have one hour left to live

And have works reaching eternity undone

And which demand a must do

What would you do?

A wise man would rather not be passive

When he realizes eternity is but in view

And it becomes must to God meet

He thinks being Born Again in hour

A prudent man would quickly arise

Having received Holy Spirit seal

Yes, been Born Again in hour

He would use the minutes living for God

With time constraint though living for God

He would not like meeting God empty handed

He tackles the urgency of working for God

As minutes tickle making way for eternity.

SLEEP, DEATH KINSMAN.

Sleep a wonderful exercise

That no sweat produces

No gymnastic tendencies produce

But for body healthy after keeps

Sleep, no valiant your appeal resists

No one ever busy your grip resists

When you wish you take throne

And your tenure you determine

No expert time-keeper

Can predict when you set off

Nor can he time your tenure

You are mystery taking man at your will

The beauties relax carelessly

Without the notion of most beautiful

Even two bevies in contention of a man

Lose thought of it when you posses them

Art thou not like Death O Sleep?

Man`s cares behind are left

When on your invitation follow

And to where he goes doth not know

Thou art kinsman to Death

You two make one cares forgotten

Only that you strike for joy

Death strikes with pains

Your journey with man is temporal

Death with man to everlasting journey makes

To rest and come back to life you do

But with Death one rests unto lasting decay

RESPECT MOTHER TONGUE.

Mother tongue, pride of nation

The remnant of heritages from God

Where to extinction it goes

Nationhood is carelessly lost

The dialect of a people

Her originality identifies

In it her culture tightly wrapped

And in it her pride of being a people exudes

When mother tongue through of-springs runs

Whole beauty of the land from nature is worn

For even in print of soles of our feet

The living mother tongue is written.

Where mother tongue extinction goes

Cultural anarchy is loosed upon it

Yes where mother tongue dies away

Ills of hybrid culture the land thereto plagues

Mother tongue, pride of nation

The remnant of heritages from God

Where to extinction it goes

Nationhood is carelessly lost

EVIL CAN TRIUMPH ONLY…

Edmund Burke assertion truest now be

Condition necessary for triumph of evil

Let good men their—

Hands fold and do nothing

No society rule by evil

Reacts if good men silence keep

Where evil has strong opposition

The evil rootlessly lives on tilting ground

What we confess in favour of—

That we live with its dividends

What we confess in disfavor of

In that our domains live

Where good men refrain from scolding

Where good men their peace hold

Crime wave unbearably sways

Rooting out our morale and rectitude.

WAIT FOR GOD WITH PRAISES

At darkest hours

When it seems God is silent

Be you also silent in speeches

But very loud in praises to God

When it seems your legs crippled

When it seems your mates out-run you with success

Don`t speak in regret

But speak in praises to God

When a barren woman you are called

And it seems you are born with the curse

Don`t cry with regret

But cry, shouting in praises to God

Even when as a pastor

Others excel with power and progress

Don`t cry in regret questioning God

Pray, with praises trusting God.

When all is well

And it seem you operate from God`s throne

Don`t be confident after all

Still pray for humility in praises to God.

DON`T FRET, DON`T FAINT, DON`T FAIL

The earth can never you up swallow

The hurricane can never you away carry

Even the fiercest tempest can never sink you

As long as in God`s hollow hand you are

Even when at brink of endless pit you face

And roaring Lion your way of escape blocks

When torrent winds fiercely against you be

No hair of yours will lose for God watches over you

When life`s odds at wit end submerge you

Survival comes only at seeing it as normal

And condition that never can change resist

At end of tunnel you surely shall shine out

When darkness over-shadows your diming light

Don`t despair, hold forth

At that point life seems terminating

Life arbiter stands ordering peace be still

When viaduct crossing bottomless gulf you climb

Sing praises in ecstasy to God

As on wings of praises you perched

You will on safe shore sway across

Remember, no journey of life had ever easy been

No, not at all, no, not at all

Those that persevered came out giants

For God`s directives their compasses were

The virtue that crushes hurdles is prayers

The virtue that melts and arouses God`s heart is praises

The virtue that endears you to His presence is holiness

These are worship and worship God`s heart-beat be

LET`S HELP THE CRIPPLES

Have you ever toed our streets?

Around our world, yes our world?

And see scenes of legs maimed men

Who on unnatural prisons without option of bail be

The joy for jumping, leaping and praising

Running to and fro in liberal liberty

The Cripple verily lacks

For badly maimed the legs are

The fanciful objects and scenarios

Are far too more reach to him

For their reach he can`t beat

For badly maimed the legs are

Can he stand for wresting contest?

Never, oh so painful be

And where stampeding like youths prices earns

The Cripple in sorrow cuddles with regrets

Let the nature quickly our weights reduce

Their frantic, so how prayers always be

For to be without natural mobility

Is like dying without natural wills

Do they need comforts and comforters?

Oh so very, so direly need

Let the world so merciful to them truly be

Making them sighs of relief heave

WOMEN, OUR SECOND-SELVES.

Oh, thou soft skin with tender heart

Thou hairless body with soothing voice,

That tames the rugged voice of man

Stabilizing him when encompassed with care, how?

Oh how adequately can we help you

Can us or the nature your help proffer

For myriad your cares really are

Though not volition, sheer mistake cause it so

Upon the world, and on our earth

You many helplessly dawdle

Some widows, some helpless senior singles

Some on the wings of bad step-husbands ply

Some with cares of many helpless kids

Are heavily laden and burdened

Making survival through unwilling mating

In tears yielding to unscrupulous men

Our government your cares unable to bear

Even the Churches now loveless turning

Our world who`s who on medias lips doers turn

Making you hoping against hopes

The world after all your problems may not be

For where unity and purpose lack

Though millions be, never can garrison keep

And women in dire dearth of oneness be

The few pleasures you see cause you nude on stages appear

The plaguing life cause you all out flirting

The blood from abortion your bane utterly be

And the merciful Lord, perhaps, His ears against you turns.

DIVINE EXCHANGE ON THE CROSS

Oh, by the reason of iniquity and unworthiness

I couldn`t for Christ seek

He rather sought for me, but why?

Just to exchange my sinful nature for His divine nature

I became a hippy and out cast from the fold

Wretchedly alienated from commonwealth of Christ

But a home of abode in Him He made me have

Taking my sin and with righteousness covers me

On the Cross He painfully hung for me

Taking the painful curse of sin

Only to get me justified

And with grace made me free

Oh Thou Divine on the shameful Cross

You crushed my sin

And eternal blessing to me bestowed

Creating a home for my wandering soul

How efficacious thy precious grace is

For from these Serpent caused sin—

Separation, slavery, suffering, sickness, sorrow, and shame

He willingly bent redeeming and saving me

Your divine exchange on the Cross

My slavery to adoption turned, yes

Suffering to sufficiency, sickness to healing

Sorrow to serenity and succor, shame to glory

HOW UNGRATEFUL TO THE LORD WE WERE

The Mighty Monarch of Egypt—

Oh God for our sakes you dethroned

And the mighty land disastrously blown

Only to our souls from bondage redeem

The history that evergreen remains

Yes, parting flowing Red sea asunder

Bridging the gap for the chosen to pass

Oh there you concluded Pharaoh`s anger

The Divine providence ever seen—

For our sakes the history was made

Sending Manna in wilderness to the chosen

All forty years freely fed the chosen

On our transport to the promised holy land

By night with pillar of fire you led us

By day with pillar of cloud you led us

And on your faithfulness to the land we safely entered

How with unique garments sewn

Which with our growing grow too

All the forty years our naked you covered

And neither tailors nor cobblers did we know

Oh how our killing thirst you quenched

From a mobile Rock, yes Rock

You water of life our mortal souls gave

But we never knew you Christ was the Rock

But we chided oh Lord against thee

Bitterly murmured, forgetting your rare did

We desired to woo bondage than your salvation

To eat dregs in fetters than manna in freedom

BE GRATEFUL TO GOD ALWAYS

Thank God when it`s well

Thank God when it`s bad

All conditions to your good see

Thank God when good, bad move at par

Life is a process—

That stages verily passes

Ups and downs the ingredients of life be

So thank God no matter how life is

When the mountains in your way—

Block your blessing run-way

And almost compels you to run away

Thank God for He knows and makes the way

When sickness your joy stolen

Thank God He knows you`re broken

When loneliness your portion seems be

Thank God for your companion He means be

Even when death strikes life

Thank God for it`s necessary end

And a transport to endless life

Thank God for He knows your end

THE LIFE

Life, though precious

But it is a stage

Which like vapour can be likened

It becomes much meaningful

When it is verified, yes

When it is verified

So if life many years here counts

And ended with mistakes

With records most dishourable

It was rolled on stages so dark

And it was wasted on steady stage

And it was wasted on steady stage

So no life unverified is meaningful

So no life unverified is meaningful

HELP THE BLIND

Blindness, just the worst

Blinding the eyes, body gateway

Blinding his environment dark

Making him all times lonely

The target of blindness is the eye

Eye the light of the body be

Where the eye is blind

The whole body in blindness be

How a man move only—

When a guide in his hand leads

He has no taste of beauty or colour

As beauty, colour and eye rhyme

If danger ahead of hotly be

He does not see nor know

He cannot away run

For safe direction he can`t see

Oh do physical and spiritual blindness compete?

Physical blindness all physical blinds

Spiritual blindness glory of eternity blinds

Both the beauty and glory of life her and after blinds

What help does the blind need

Oh prayers, mercy, and petting him

For where sickness defies earthly herbs

Then hope when heaven arouses himself for cure

IT`S VERY FATAL TO HEAVEN LOSE

Oh see how fatal it is to heaven lose

Oh see how fatal it is to heaven lose

To punitive deluge of God`s wrath wait

Oh see how fatal it is to heaven lose

How painful to be separated from Christ

To lonely for eternity be in hell

And with no comfort of Holy Spirit

How painful to be separated from Christ

Can joys here and endless pains—

Of the eternity be equated, oh no!

How can a man ignorance of this be

And for eternity in hell`s sorrows regret

The way of escape by God`s love—

To straying sinful man was given

The slain, risen Christ the sacrifice be

On His wings the fatal hell is escaped

Oh thou carnal careless soul

Wandering in sinful earthly pleasures

To a fatal hell at last it leads

So turn, run now for the wrath is so punitive

THE JUDGMENT`S PARAMETER

Records are vital even more to Heavens

For records index to nomenclature be

And Heaven so careful records all things

From which all must be accordingly judged

On the podium – the white throne

Sat a judge, an impartial judge

Who for safety earth and sky away fly

For no place was found for them

The dead from both archaic and modern world

Great, small, rich, poor before the throne stand

Books were before them opened

In which their records of live were put

Another book there was also opened

It is, yes the very book of life

Even the dead were judged from it

For their deeds against grace therein be

Even Death and Hades trembling—

Gave up the dead in them

To be judged by what they have done

To be judged by what they have done

As none above God`s judgment be

Death and Hades into lack of fire were cast

And if any one`s name in the book is not seen

Into the lack of fire he will be thrown

GOD`S GLORY TO DARK WORLD SHINES

See God`s awesome shakinah glory

On the dark world verily glowing

Only the wandering soul seeking

Who the pains of fetters like snake had bitten

It` amazing that king of kings

Humbly squeezed himself to earthly battle ring

Fighting the earth`s deadly enemy – Satan

To deliver you from killing earthly pattern

Remember, life though precious but flies

And though short-lived but dies

It is because one from the way strays

That everlasting Savour never ceases to pray

Because of sin man dwells in worry

And painfully he dies in hurry

If man will know for him Jesus was pierced

From burden of sin he will freely rise

How oh man would you at last account

When every soul at last stands to account

If you reject the loving Saviour now

The time angels will ask you oh, man how

WHEN FREEDOM IS BORN

When freedom is born

Fetters and pains are burnt

Where shackles ramshackle be

A cut unity swift recycling see

Where the truth is born

Falsehood and lies are burnt

And where bondage prevails

Truth amongst the people does not live

When Biafra is reborn

Nations around will be reborn

For where key-land in bondage be

Ties futures of allies in bondage

Where corruption reigns supreme

Righteousness is but alien there

And it is impossible to fail

Where righteousness is garment of people.

Where freedom rolls naturally

Unity and love flow naturally

Progress never can be hindered

Where freedom is left unhindered

BIAFRAN KIDS NEVER CAN FORGET YOU

Biafran kids never can you forget

Oh you, yes you, Bruce Mayrock

For in their pogrom et genocide you wept

And yourself willingly to fire gave to burnt

Have such love and care from the White—

To the Black in plights ever met

Oh no, a rare love it doth be

Yes, like Christ dying for the helpless

The shrill still and pathetic—

Voices of the Biafran kids—

Under the dark clouds of bombardments

Raised you to pity, dying in burnt

For at the war-tearing land

Kids at the chase of fighter bullets

Tika tika! tika, tika! Without guides ran

And parents ignored cries of darling kids

Was heaven closed against them, oh no!

Though foes their hearts against them hardened

The selfish erstwhile imperialists—

Their gains preferred to kids horrors

The kids on compulsory fasting be

Thought ignorance and vicarious of why—

Bullets and starvation their lives chased

They slumped in fear, weary and in hunger died.

Your memory in our hearts evergreen be

May your soul in land of perfect love rest

Your memory in our hearts evergreen be

May your soul in land of perfect love rest.

EFFECTS OF WAR NEVER CEASE

The horrors of war never can be forgotten

For our annihilation almost came

Oh yes, buy economic blockade

The horrors of war never can be forgotten

The fiercest battle of 202 B.C

There at horror of battle of Zama

To the aged and historians ever new be

The horror of war never can be forgotten

By the mercies of God almighty

We were not consumed

For as chosen one in diasporas

They tend us be like ours in Hitler’s hand.

Our pathetic cries turned their melody be

Our sorrows their pride of success be

For in their 3 prongs of war: land, sea, air

Only by mercies of God we were not consumed

Thorns from war never can be forgotten

Though peace partially reigns after

And unity muscled to manage life

But the horrors of war never can be forgotten

The ante-dot to war horrors

Is to war wisely eschew

Allow peace to us wealth create

And arms of war far from creation be.

WINNIE MADIKIZELA MANDELA KUDOOS

Thou art virtuous mother indeed

Of South African nation

The roll you played to the nation

Real mother caused you be rated indeed

Who patient like you—

Can indeed epitomize

For when troubles your weight almost reduced

On the virtue of patience you anchored

Oh 27 years dried of matrimonial warmth

With no one by you to pet

Unmovable for your spouse stood

On the virtue of patience you anchored

What a woman of uncommon virtue

39 years registered for learning is not the case

You won, despite all failures

For on the virtue of patience you anchored

Oh Winnie Madikizela Mandela

A rare woman of our time

Your passion for your aims victories earned you

And role model to those impatient be.

Your lesson of patience—

To both women-folk and others

Indelible and didactic ever be

It be truer now “Patience is bitter its fruits sweet”

DON`T STOP, KEEP MOVING.

Martin Luther King said: “Refuse to stop

If you can`t fly, run. If you can`t run walk

If you can`t walk, crawl but by all—

Means keep moving.

There are millions of visible obstacles—

That can a hero stop

But having determined not to stop

His keep moving a hero made him

Queen Esther could have been stopped

By nearly a million excuses

Tradition, fear of death, advice from priggish kins

Even fear of failures but moved on to save lives

“I will go to the King though it`s against the law”

Progress comes not without oppositions

She even crawled in mind and thought

But by all means kept moving

Teliot American poet said:

“What we call the beginning is often the end

And to make the end is to make a beginning

The end is where we start from”.

EVEN THE WAVES OBEY JESUS

When the sea became much

And the Ship was tossed much

They hope all was lost

Till the Master spoke `Let peace be`

`Peace be still`,

Encompasses all subjection

Of chaos, disasters, evils and life waves

To the authority of Christ Jesus

When the going too tough be

And time seems endless to ripe

Endure to make the fight well fought

And the time at its time will ripe

If it seems the Master sleeps

When the odds against you blink

Entreat Him to order peace be still

And at last you will have peace still

Always see Jesus Master of waves

And who all authority in His hand be

Careth thou not I perish you may cry

He acts to show you He cares for you.

THE MIND THE GREATEST INDUSTRY

The Mind the greatest industry-

Ever known to sons of men

Made by the Omni-active creator

Its products abound with sons of men

The Minds industry

A highly complex of two phases

The positive and negative there live

And their products the world makes or mar

The tools of the industry the thought be

Those that thought out evil live and die by it

Those that thought out good live and die by it

They only differ in result here and after here

Where at the industry work—

The Maker employed to work

Production break-down is not known

And the industry outer space lives serene

Oh the mind industry the greatest

Who your complex thoughts decipher

To keep you right to right humanity

Oh your Creator only, indispensable to that be

DARK SACRED MOUNTAIN

Oh dark and awesome mountain

Laid on random monoliths

Bedded in random stratified layers

Art thou the everlasting Rock?

Your face with contour like scarecrow be

Your height towers above man

Like tower of Babel you stand

With what can you be compared?

Oh dark mysterious mountain

Your random courses no mistake be

A security for you it is

And leeway for friends to reach you

How heavy are you?

No man ever can quantify

You are heavier than man`s lots

But as feather you are in God`s palm

What help to fallen man have you?

For man felled in battered ideas

Mopping to your size as helper

As he wobbles in confusions all long

GOD IS EVERYTHING

Before God, man is nothing

Before man God is something

The delight of God is humility

And the proud He resists.

From nothing He made something

And something He turns to nothing

All by word of faith from Him the faith

All things neatly fixed themselves here.

The glorious earthly king as dust ends

The beautiful queen as dust ends

God expectation of man to nothing turns

And his un-expectation to something turns

Everything God made destination has

From dust came man to dust he ends

From dust animal came to dust it ends

But He that has no beginning wears endless.

GOD`S ACTS NOT ALLEGORY

If parting of Red Sea asunder

Is not allegory, yes not allegory

If parting of Red Sea asunder is real

Why should I the least doubt

If raising a man from grip of death

Is not allegory, yes not allegory

If raising a man from grip of death is real

Why should I the least doubt?

If by word raging storm calmed

Is not allegory, yes not allegory

If by word raging storm calmed is real

Why should I the least doubt?

If walking upon the sea by man

Is not allegory, yes not allegory

If walking upon the sea by man is real

Why should I the least doubt?

If water flowed from mobile Rock

Is not allegory, yes not allegory

If water flowed from mobile Rock is real

Why should I the least doubt?

The Lord is mighty in all things

The Lord is supreme in all things

The heart that on him relies

To him must be done great things.

MARTIN LUTHER KING JR.

Martin Luther King Jr.

Art thou not a pummeller?

Who your words many years after you

Pummels, yes pummels souls into being propellers

You had a dream

Getting souls in wheel of wellness

Yes, in sound minds

Where their creator they should wisely know

You had a dream

To right the wrongs of straying souls

Setting justice over injustice

And making garment of love available to all

You had a dream

Oh Martin Luther King Jr.

To straighten the paths of races

Making racial discrimination a taboo

The fire of love you kindled

Till date shines bright

Illuminating dark minds of racists

Teaching them, one, yes one, we are one!

Like your biography

Mine so desirous wished to be

Treading the hard dark you did

Making wave, name and glory at last.

CHRIST IS ALL IN ALL FOR ME

Christ came seeking for me

Leaving His serene throne above

Though complete He is

For me relinquished He the honour

He came from developed plain

Seeking for me in dirty mire

Not I sought for Him

He rather risk seeking for me

What love incomparable He has

When though like death I hated Him

To take my punishment He agree

Then for shameful death of the cross He took

Can I ever Him like manner love

To my life, my all Him give

To Him follow even when odd

And man here like Him love

It wasn`t enough for Him just to come

His love far more eternity opened

Creating a resting place from toil

Yes, there in His eternal paradise for me

Let my soul to Him ever praise

Let my body to Him like sacrifice pour

For no portion could ever be more than:

Saving me, keeping me to eternal rest

THE BLOOD SETTLES IT ALL

Freedom the desire of the enslaved

Has but price-tag of blood

If the price of freedom is often paid in blood

What holds the freedom due to Biafra?

The blood of Biafra like Mississippi flow

As the indignation of the enemies grow

Their blood their freedom bought

What else doth one need more?

The ritualist so well doth know—

Just as Satan for sin doth know—

That sacrifices with blood, yes blood!

Automatic freedom doth give

3o months only their blood flow without reference

Safe like their brothers at the grip of despotic Hitler

The world marveled at human blood waste

What else doth one need more?

The helpless sinner atonement for sin couldn`t see

Satan the captor blood as price demanded

Christ His blood volunteered to shed

So now freedom eternally to man obtained

If the world silence should still keep

Partiality the Justice throne has run

Many ethnicities now split to on their own be

Oh let Biafra, yes Biafra, join suit now.

THE JOYOUS DAYS AHEAD

Wind of change harmlessly blowing

Across the globe gently blowing

On demands and bids of Biafra blow

So to making the unique land aglow

Soon the Birds of the air shall sing

The animals both friends and foes shall sing

That Biafra on freedom bell rings

When the day their songs of freedom rings

Like Western zephyrs mild wind

Shall the joy of freedom our minds wined

The cripples shall jump for joy

As even holy Angels trigger people`s joy

Our sackcloth of sorrow

Donned from scars of horrors

Shall brigantly turn to zero

As God the land carry in His palm`s hollow

The beasts that upon our rights trampled

Shall by our songs of joy be wrangle

As our noses from fetters freely wriggled

And our feeble feet revive with leaping

Sooner! Oh very soon

Dreams of our fallen heroes—

Shall like golden mushroom sprout

Then nimble and aged to God shall king hail

One, two, one, two rhyming of our trekking heard

Bravely forward we march

Leaving the old world behind

Facing, yes Biafra facing the new world.

HAIL CHRISR, THE MORNING STAR

Hail Christ, the morning star

Who to us shines like star

For man His divine throne left

To restore him to privilege left

What a Lord full of grace

Who man`s error can only dress

For man down and condemned was

He raised him back to glory he was

Hail Christ, the Messiah

Who alone accounts of human keep

And who rewards in His hand be

And who from Him man rewards get

Hallowed to His name be

Who Holy, Holy, Holy is His name

And who no one un-holy sees

Hallowed to His name be

Heaven His throne eternally be

And to eternity His span of reign be

Oh how privileged shall those be

Who as their Lord Him duly made

THE LAND WE LONGED FOR

Vast land east of the Niger

Shadows by oily rays of rising sun

A unique land only God created

Is the land we longed for

Equipped with angels` unity

A land for people of rare talents

A land her unity couldn`t be beaten

Is the land we longed for

Blood from pogrom and genocide

Couldn`t the land and people annihilate

The enemies couldn`t her destinies frustrate

For it`s the land we really longed for

A land immune from:

Natural and unnatural disasters

Her vegetation and arable the beauty of the land be

Surely, this is the land we longed for

A day soon shall come

When the dreams truly really shall come

In the wings of jubilation shall we—

Across and within the land fly

BURDENED WITH LOADS OF SIN

Burdened with loads of sin

Eternally outcast from the kingdom

With no hope to life good eternally

But now burdens are lifted at Calvary

When the regrets of what—

Once I really had been come

I am consoled to worry no more

For my burden are lifted at Calvary

No more loads of care alone to carry

No more pains and sorrow alone to carry

For I am always assured—

My burdens are lifted at Calvary

Though perplexed on the race

Tribulations and temptations abound

Their weights on my Saviour rest

For my burdens are lifted at Calvary

Hopefully I from this tabernacle `ll be

Transported to immortality wear

Nothing earthly shall down weigh me

For my burdens are lifted at Calvary.

THE LION OF TRIBE OF JUDEA

Thou Lion of the tribe of Judea

On whose wings Israel hides

On whose broods the saints hide

On your cleft of rock me hide

When earthly lions roar

And at will me desire to sip

Thou Lion of the tribe of Judea

Rise to his plan counter

The roads of man of terrors full

Giants on every side block

On you Lion of the tribe of Judea

I strength draw to exist

Though in want of my blood lay

And vaunts to my life own

He shall fall and never again rise

For the Lion of the tribe of Judea liveth.

IN ANOTHER LIFE

At birth like diatom I looked

At birth like diatom I looked

Was it nature or man made me so

It was imbalances in father`s economy

Like diatom before a giant I be

Imagine diatom before a giant

I even dreamt wearing pantaloon

And making highest jump in sport

Those were my morning

I, after met my noon

Like Rose periwinkle I grew

And like queen of the night my fame perfume

Step by step heights I met

Oh great flare in writing discovered

What my dim infant eyes couldn`t see

As I turn a father I all see

I sensed the harbingers of evening

When my viable feet began turning feeble

I hope I had rule the world more

Riding with kings in golden roads

Life though too short but very sweet

It folds and unfolds many times—

Before in grave it finally folds

With it I my world ruled and hope to unknown world rule

JUSTICE CREATES FREEDOM

The cry of helplessness

Has only a place of respite

And a home for comfort

And that is at the domain of justice

The garment of impunity

The earth richly was adorned with

The warehouse of whipping, weeping

All grossly lack the music of justice

Where hearts the home of justice be

The land home of freedom be

One lane contains the twins

And monuments of peace the twins build

Justice the freedom creates

Much learning sorrows creates

If much learning the ultimate be

Cries of woes, injustices bye-gone would have been

RIVER MISSISSIPPI

Swift flowing River Mississippi

Flowing down with tractions

Oh down, down, and down!

And when uphill at all will you flow?

By your sides we watch you flow

Your joy our sadness melts

As all traction your commands obey

So our sorrows by your joy melt

When you but over-flow

Our cups run over, yes over!

When you take shape normal

Our stands by it stabilize

Oh swift flowing River Mississippi

Though thou art longest River be

But couldn`t longer than your canal be

Who upon her palm you run

Swift flowing River Mississippi

Everything in you obey your command of—

Downward drifting except the living fishes

Oh fishes are heirs, heirs liberty of kingdom have.

THE UNKNOCKABLE HEART

The unknockable engine

Oh the very human heart

A handiwork of the Almighty be

A complex God`s creation be

The human complex heart

A great feat of the Almighty be

Who its lubricator readily be

And on whose time it unexpiring be

It is tripartite of soul, spirit and mind

Housed in terrestrial tabernacle – body

None can it well mend

Except the mender, the Maker

Ageless divine-made prototype engine

That pumps and years tickles unperturbed

Human made engine at various times knocks

And at times obsolete turns

The warehouse of inspiration to—

The brain, eye and subconscious traits be

The life pipe-line to body parts

The heart, unknockable engine be

Oh praises eternal desires by—

He who human heart created

He who human heart lubricates

He who human heart preserves

LEAVE FOOT PRINT ON THE SAND OF TIME

At the instance of birth

One a clenched palm has

An indication of rare talents

So wrapped in as sent by God

So none dullard is

The chance to your generation touch

To everyone here gave

We utilize or in vain waste them

However, everyone here achiever be

Only on the phase of horizon he be

Your achievements either make or mar

As both side of eternity your works can one direct

Who your works to action can stir

Who by your works can negativity shorn?

Not until by your works people the light see

You passed through with buried talents

So desire to sublime your life make

Departing, leaving behind you

Foot prints on the sand of time

Then a way you`ve opened for many

“Lives of great men all remind us

We can make lives sublime

And, departing leaving behind us

Foot prints on the sand of time

IN DEARTH OF MERCIFUL DOCTORS AND NURSES

“Why should he die—

That should live”

A humanitarian cry—

Through concern Physicians

To keep life moving

The call of Physicians be

Who the life value than money

And spent all to keep it hold

The dead lack nothing but life.

A hearty Physician this well knows

So to lose a soul to death—

He sees as eternal lose

A physician that money than lives values

An impostor to the noble profession be

And a route through which death comes

Sending millions dying, boosting our tears

We once from Nurses mercies learn

For they are with care and love made

Caring with love and tears to save the sick

And God by their hands changes death to life

How money, wealth, ego their aprons now be

To God and man, their imagination beat

The sick, the maim yell all in vain

To the deaf ears of Physicians and Nurses

Where are they now

The kind and merciful Nurses

Who like angels to the sick attend?

Whose humorous acts the sick restate

BIAFRA LIVES.

Let the people – Biafra live

For they`re destined to live

To make lives smooth for the living

For dead lack nothing but life

He that agent of freedom be

Is but a free gift from Divine be

Redeeming the marginalized, yea

Redeeming the bonds

If the rising sun freedom for man fights

If rains freedom for man fight

How would man, yes man

Freedom of fellow blocks

The reward to earthly freedom givers

Is but eternal freedom from eternal Lord

But those who give one bondage as garment

Will weep, weep, weep and ever weep!

Let the people – Biafra, live

For if “in Biafra Africa died”

In Biafra Africa shall surely live

And by her the world will ever live

Marginalization talents doth blocks

And the enemy of a race hotly be

The real worth of people is known

When their freedom over marginalization rides

Let the mountains roll and rejoice

Let the thunder roll and rumble

For Freedom is speaking

Setting free, yea, Biafra free

JAPAN

Japan! Yea, Japan!

Join and prevent adversity now

A call originally to the father be

Which came to light after Hiroshima

Jehovah Almighty powers all nations

Those who His name knows

Those who His commands obey

He sets them up above adversity

A land of prevailing ingenuity

Our hands by God so blessed

To humanity place to peace

We love peace, and hotly hate wars

Japan the land of beauty

The beauty of heaven we see

And the beauty in our homes abodes

Sun, Moon, and Stars favour us

Welcome to Japan

A land where truth is the foundation

Our target: to rule the world—

Yes, with good works of our hands

HEED, WE PLEAD, BIAFRA PLEA OH UN

United Nations

A linking rope for world unity

From League of Nations thou metamorphosed

Wearing widest name for world unity

Thy objectives are heavenly be

Fight what peace globally disrupt

Protecting the weak and helpless clans

Who under fetters of bondage and deprivation be

Your tasks not meager be

Combating ideologies and views in the process

And myriads complaints from injustice

May God wisdom like Solomon`s to you give

The world a jungle of—

Lawlessness would have been

But for the presence of UN

Calming down excesses and chaos

Your right hand of caring—

To a special place now needs

The suffering, yea, suffering Biafra

She is long overdue for Self-determination.

CRIES OF SORROWS IN THE LAND

Nigerians to their knees are brought

The poor the worst hit

Bearing the brunt of bad leadership

And their tears no bound know

On their tables are but stubbles

And their futures fill with fears

Hopelessness their vision impairs

And faith for their fates away dries

Her leaders in confusions be

As the brunt the governed bear

Few rich ones heartless turn

To the poor, no succor and solace see

Every decade same slogan heard

Tighten-up your belt

Tighten-up your belt more

For soon horizons are landing with goodies

Again, her leaders selflessness wear

They compete in looting wealth

Political impunity doors of the poor close

And Arm-robbers are upon the land loosed

The weeping of the helpless

The ears greatly doth tingle

Though the leaders` ears to them defy

So let the poor, from God, resorts be sought

HOLD ME; TELL ME YOU LOVE ME

Take my hand, Love

Though fragile be

But made so for you

Take me along love lane

Sweetly drive with me—

On love lane

Let your care for me

Be of divine whose image you are

On the wings of happiness

Jointly shall we roll

The joy from shadows of your strength

My shield ever shall be

Like morning rose—

Shall my lips to you smell

My whole body will perfume—

Hot romance ever to you

Since my eye you are

I can all things see

And for your love alone

I will do anything

Let me feel the warmth—

Of your embrace in love

Let my breasts rather speak—

My unuttered words of love for you

HOW GOOD IS MY LOVE

How beautiful is my love

Oh how glorious is my love

I love my love

She will upon my affection dwell

Greater than beauties of earth to me be

Even for her the earth I made

To her happy ever keep

Well equipped was the earth

Where ere now death a taboo be

And sorrow never ever heard

I love my love

But she erred, and with sin eloped

With tears I now her search

See how in sorrow now my love wallows.

WHAT A RUINED WONDERFUL CREATION

Look the earth

Bright looking earth

A handiwork of the Creator

The firmament above her shield be

Sun, moon and stars light in it be

A physical mighty creation

A twin of beautiful heaven be

The waters in it glitter

The waters a surprise indeed be

Her natural deposits startle

Oh the controller, the man only

And man not made to suffer

But for a sin, yes an error

Sin the wonders ruined, peace to war way made

WAR IS A DISASTER.

War! You are horror

War! You are sorrow

You make men maim and blind

You make myriad amputations

War! The youths your target be

To ruin land`s future you aim at

Infants cries coming alive to see you

War! No gains at all in you

A land you posses—

Light of freedom denies

The people in dearth of comfort be

The Aged baptized with regrets

He that seeks peace through you

Agent of destruction verily be

And he that spends for Arsenals

Against God`s mercies verily be

War! I hate you

My life your target be

And enemy of my potentials be

You kill, you dry, you wipe

We frown at you war

We reject you war

We repudiate you war

For you are not asset to man

(In the same manner with the Sonnets above.)

WEEPING IN THE LAND

What have they done – the Biafrans

That under the scourge of sun

The helpless civilians of Biafra

Chased with piercing bullets of gun

Genocide! Genocide! Oh genocide!

How long will the Biafra kids weep

How can he always feed with genocide?

And trashed with soldiers’ whips

What a crime in desiring to alone be

As Biafrans are tired of dictatorial reign

And desires in earnest to alone be

Let them be spared of brutality in reign

But the United Nations all these see

And the nations of the world all these see

OH GOD SAVE THE IBOS.

The enemies of peace and blood

Turn around had made

To declare peace-loving nation

A terrorist people and nation

How can we Ibos-Biafrans-IPOB

Terrorists, oh terrorists be

When peace we have pestered here

And to international world peace exported

The nation that without arms be

Who in recurring genocide ever be

Again in brutality and impunity of juntas

Weep in pains of their thrashing whipping

How oh have we terrorists turn?

When in peace self-determination we seek

Non-inclusive governance our portion be

And in helpless 2nd fiddle made to lag

How can the world in democracy lives

And her honest integral part – the Ibos

The epitome of peace and love

In anguish of dictatorial regime live

Can the Ibos peace from UN see?

Can the Ibos solace from UN see?

UN the succour for the helpless clans be

Helplessly supine we lay beseeching help

Oh God of creation

To whom every soul accounts

In chains of mind and in bondage we live

And freedom, oh freedom from thee we plead.

DEATH RATE HERE FRIGHTENS.

Death to unassuming proportion here rises

Children of men to death are here griped

As they wriggle in vain to yawning mouth of mother-earth

Sorrow and weeping seize their feelings

Oh why the geometric progression rate

To what planet do the dead rush

And what recourse are there for them

No one know but helplessness may still there rule

Where mind fidgets and regrets

And the future very dicey

Only few souls can there survive

For stress and helplessness agents of death be

Where there is no leadership

The blinds there are led by blinds

Every time night to the people be

For struggling to live wearies life to death

Death? Yes, unnaturally thrives—

Where starvation people`s garment be

Africa`s vicious poverty trap makes her only eat to live

And death thrives on lives that nutrients lack

Ho! Helping helpless hands here so needed

To ravaging menace of death curb

The fight against starvation is the core

Then sickness unto death away will varnish.

IN GRIP OF ECONOMIC RECESSION

Suppression from recession

Our minds` freedom so asphyxiates

Recession! Recession! Oh recession!

Suppression to all doth gives

Oh how on recession ever be

And depression from it ever be

Who the malady can heal?

For recession depression to minds gives

Suffocation from eco-recession

Dissension to family unity causes

As no food but starvation section—

Abounds in many helpless houses

Like cattle with load upon a hill

So its suppression on us badly treats

Confusion and hopeless on our faces written

As supine without hope on the floor we lay

Why Adam smith we here so lack?

Oh not, only that corrupt mind rare feat can`t do

Economy helplessly clothed with corruption

Can always have recession as garment

PEACE MAKES A NATION

A nation that for peace sues

Super power really verily be

But that nation that on war vaunts

Opposes herself to God`s wrath

He that preserves blood is wise

He that blood sheds is foolish

A wise man` feat makes comfort

But where discomfort abounds, abounds fools

A nation that store arms of the flesh

An alien to commonwealth of God be

And a fugitive to God`s mercy be

For God`s eye flashes against war

A nation that love lacks, lacks God

The presence of God showers peace

Wisdom of evil heart gives no peace

And hearts that delights in war lack God.

Swing low! Swing high!

Swing low! Swing high!

Just for joy of a child.

The Child can jump

Jump! Jump! Jump!

Just like a frog,

Jump! Jump! Jump!

The Child can sing

Sing! Sing! Sing!

Just like a bird

Sing! Sing! Sing!

The Child can crawl

Crawl! Crawl! Crawl!

Just like a Spider

Crawl! Crawl! Crawl!
