Introduction

As a child, I remember gazing up at the vast night sky, feeling as though I belonged to its deepest roots. It was only a glimpse of its boundless beauty, an infinite realm of existence, as if it were whispering to me the story of my creation. The stars, woven together by the hands of truth, formed an atmosphere so vast that its edges remain unknown.

As I grew, transitioning from child to woman, I continued to breathe in the fullness of its majesty, realizing that it was crafted for my eyes to witness. Now, more than ever, I understand that I am one with its pulsing life—just like the stars that shine their light in the darkest nights. The sun rises and sets with perfect precision, the planets align in radiant hues of color and strength. Each day, I awake to a new canvas of creativity and am reminded of the beauty that surrounds me.

It’s not about anything I’ve done; it’s about who I am. This is the greatest gift I’ve ever received, and perhaps that’s why I can call it home—a place where poetry and art have blossomed. This is who I am, and these are the living words my soul breathes onto the page.

Dear reader, are you ready?

Welcome to the universe I call “me,” a cosmos filled with planets of truth and stars of light that have guided me to this moment. I hope these words find you when you need them most, and that everything you’re facing now is just the scattered pieces waiting to form your own galaxy. I believe in you.

The universe cradles the sun, and I’ve grown quite fond of her—she fills me with warmth and courage. The universe gifted me the sun as a reminder that the night never lasts forever. I gave her a beautiful name; I call her Mom. Who is your sun?

Do you really believe that everything has an ending? That’s what we’ve been taught, but when you contemplate the eternal nature of life and death, you begin to understand that nothing truly ends; it merely shifts direction and transforms from one state to another. Our souls never really cease to exist. In a way, we are all tiny fragments of an infinite universe, confined within our bodies.

Yesterday, I prayed for the moon to remember me when night fell, hoping it would remind me I wasn’t truly alone during my darkest moments. I asked it to cast away the shadows of fear and to shine as a beacon in the depths of blackness. The moon heard my silent prayers. I suppose the greatness of its creator loves me more than I can comprehend, for it speaks, and the moon commands the darkness to retreat.

I believe poetry mattered most when I felt its rawness—rawness that emerged from a deep place within me. In those moments, it transformed from mere art into my entire existence. I realized I needed it to live freely in a world that constantly tries to confine me. Poetry stretches across the sky, connecting everything in ways that uniquely shape our identities.

I believe delicate things deserve to be noticed, even when they are often hidden from view. Just like planets with their unique patterns, a beautiful soul can be obscured by the brilliance of countless distractions. Yet the purity of the moments that shape a soul is worth waiting for; they often emerge from the fiercest storms, having survived in ways that somehow make them kinder.

I once met someone who became the light in my darkest moments. I longed for more time with them, as they left indelible imprints on my soul and gifted me a small space I could call home. Even in the vast expanse of the universe, where beauty is breathtaking, wonderful things can fade away and be swallowed by the night. I wish you were here.

You’re like a sliver of light glimmering in the sunlight, a reminder that kindness filters through the world in its bright rays. If the sun were to stop shining, I would embrace the darkness and seek you there, where I could build a new life. Without you, life simply isn’t worth living.

I believe it took me this long to write to you because I was afraid—afraid of being rejected. I’ve shared stories on these pages I call paper, but I never let you read them. Perhaps it was for nothing, or perhaps it was for the future. Regardless, I love you deeply, and I always will.

I am a solar flare—ever heard of one? It’s a storm in space that occurs on the Sun, releasing radiation and powerful magnetic fields throughout our Solar System. When I was younger, I didn’t realize just how powerful I could be until my anger and sadness became so apparent that they affected those around me.

You see, even destructive forces can be beautiful, much like the way the sky transforms after a hurricane has ravaged everything. The calm that follows serves as a peaceful reminder as the sun breaks through the dark clouds of despair. It’s who we become after the storm that truly matters. The storms may have come to destroy me, but I whispered into the wind, reminding it that I am the storm, and my past will not define my future.

What kind of radiation do you emit into the Solar System of life? I send out truth in ways that capture attention, not to destroy, but to rebuild.

A little girl wanders through the galaxies of everything she finds beautiful, with locks of blonde curls and ribbons of blue, captivated by the pursuit of truth. Surrounded by the harsh realities of stolen flowers, she learns more each day that life isn’t fair—how dare she dream of anything beyond this simple existence? This little girl has grown beneath the moon, calling out for anyone to come soon. The sun is the only one who has ever kept the moon safe, though they’ve never met or even known each other; the sun has always been there for the moon. Oh sun, how I love you.

You are loved, you are enough, and you are everything—nothing can take that away from you, unless you allow it. Power lies in words, and what you speak becomes your reality. Please hold onto that.

I believe I am special, but not in a way that sets me apart or makes me someone grand that everyone should know. Instead, I feel special in a way that’s meant for me—a way that gives me hope and strength to face each day. You see, while most people seek to matter to many and want the world to recognize their name, I don’t. I just want you to know it. Honestly, that would be more than enough.

Do you believe everything happens for a reason? I do. I believe that waking up this morning had a purpose, and that the people we encounter throughout our lives come into our paths for a reason. These reasons may not be clear to us right now, but one day, everything will fall into place. You can’t zoom in on a picture and expect to appreciate its full beauty, nor can you open a book in the middle and expect to grasp the entire story. Each day is a gift, and we should live each one to its fullest, never wishing away the moments for the sake of an end result. Embrace each experience for what it is, and trust that one day, it will all make sense.
