"As a returning reviewer, I’m thrilled to find that the reworked version of this book shows amazing improvement and thoughtful refinement from Zee. She’s made an already intriguing story into something even more compelling and cohesive. Just five chapters in, we meet Zeynep, a university student grappling with financial hardships while trying to silence the haunting whispers of her past. The plot moved with confident pacing yet maintains an intriguing air of mystery. There are many questions to keep readers guessing! Like what happened to her Anne (Turkish for mother), and what is Zeynep really running from? Enter Mikhail, the magnetic son of a Russian mafia boss, who becomes instantly drawn to Zeynep during a chance encounter at the cafe where she works. Something tells me she’s about to be “captivated” by him soon as well. Darker undertones emerge as we discover possible connections between disappearing young women in the city and Mikhail's family business – a web that could very well have Zeynep in the crossfire! While it seems like the core narrative has been reimagined, the author's vivid portrayal of Istanbul remains. She brings the city to life with rich sensory details that make it more than just a backdrop – it's almost a character in itself. The writing style flows naturally, pulling readers into Zeynep's emotional world while laying the groundwork for what promises to be a compelling romantic thriller. Very strong start so far. I’m looking forward to seeing where this revamped story will lead!"

"Honestly, I am blown away. Also, could not find any bad thing to say about this even if I try. Ugh, I just love this so much! This story is slowburn romance (thank God), with our broken FL with broken past and broken self thanks to the tragedy happened waaay long ago. I kind of guessed the tragedy happened to her and the author also confirmed my suspicion but still I love this and no matter how many 'broken FL' story out here in Inkitt, I'd never get bored of it. Or maybe it is just because of the way authorzee crafted the story 🧡 The first part begun with Zeynep (our FL) having a nightmare. In this part we found out that she had some trauma and probably lost a family member as well. With this kind of past, she became closed off, scared of people, not easily to trust someone and basically defensive. And I think her character is maintained throughout the chapters (from one to 4). She is still the same broken girl, who is struggling with life to survive in Istanbul. Her friendship with her best friend Kerem (or potential lover?) Does not lessen her broken-ness (wait is it even a word?). I mean I dont expect a broken girl to be totally closed off and become a hermit. Maybe some are, but some are like Zeynep too. And beside it is clear that though Kerem is trust worthy enough for her, she is still hesitating and scared to be with him too. So good job author in maintaing a strong character/trait for Zeynep!♡ Also Mikhail *sigh*. Only one pov already and I swoon already. He has that mysterious, brooding, type of thing going on and I am actually a sucker for a guy who is watching the FL from afar cause he cares (not to say i love creepy stalker ok! It is different). Cant wait for them to meet up again ❤️🩷🧡 So far so good! Read it 4 chapters in one day cause I am just so into it. NExt chap please!♡"

"I love the story so far, it's mysterious and left me questioning what will happen next, I'm still trying to figure out the plot, but that's a good thing! I will keep an eye on this book for sure! "

"I love the amount of detail you use within your book. I also enjoy your word play and the usage of different words. The cover looks very clean and has a nice font. The character names are very unique, I like that a lot, Its not something you see a lot in books anymore, most books have generic names. The way you describe your characters leaves a very clear image in the mind along with the way you describe your characters surroundings and feelings. I can really feel the way she's feeling in the way your wording is. I would love to see more from this book and learn more about the nightmares and find out more so what's triggering them and why its happening. Do keep in mind that sometimes too much detail can leave readers a bit bored, so don't overly explain things with too much detail if its not necessary. Consider giving the readers some cliff-hangers, don't give them everything at once, It's almost as if you're being too kind to the readers, leave them with that sense of dread that our main character is feeling, don't let them get the relief of her waking up too soon, maybe even leave it for another chapter. Overall, Great read! Can't wait to see more from this. ~EJ"

"This story is going best and will be best. I like more this book than the other one because in my opinion you got better in writing so far. I like Prof Elif more than Main female lead zeynep. If it is a part of series as you mentioned do make a book on Elif, i truly adore her personality. So far everything is good but i think you should schedule chapters so we shouldn't wait Overall Good job Author Waiting for more"
