A Unique Realistic Horror
"This is so deeply twisted and dark. Definitely something that could happen. Awesome!"
Leaves A Blissful Scar
"I am going to repeat what I said in an earlier comment. This was fascinating to read, not only in its rawest form as something *to* be read, but to see how your mind would address these taboo subjects; how you would frame it and contextualize it into both narrative and plot device. I loved watching this unfold. It's dark and twisted in all the right ways and it hits the right notes. Very provocative without being gratuitous; very intellectual without being pompous; very well presented without feeling sermonizing. This was truly spell binding. Once I started I couldn't stop. There was enough foreshadowed to lead me along without being needlessly obtuse or frustrating. It was such a well balanced story. I don't want to spoil anything, but the ending definitely delivered. "
Compelling and tragic
"This story had me gripped from the start. The author's delivery is exceptional, in the character development, the staging and the building of suspense. Ellie's predicament was both horrific and heartbreakingly tragic and Rueben's character was truly unnerving from the outset. Extremely well-written and very provocative, it tugged at every emotion one can possibly feel when bearing witness to one person's cruelty and warped sense of what constitutes perfection, of how they choose to rebel against society's stereotypes and misplaced ideals. It was shocking, yes, but addictive reading and I couldn't wait to see how Ellie would overcome her fate. This tale is definitely one to be considered as a classic not only visually but also as a psychological horror. Definitely worth reading. "
Horror Queen
"I really liked this plot. It stayed suspenseful the entire time. I really like the reaction to his goldfish being the cause of the whole twisted goal he had in mind. "
I read everything in front of me.
"This was truly unnerving for me to read. I find myself contemplating a moral for this tale, and all I find is, "vise will shield you until it destroys you. Once you win, you're back again." I wish I knew how you came up with this because I am truly jealous of the darkness and twisting of this story. Very well done. Thank you for writing this and letting me read it. Keep it up, and I look forward to seeing what else seeps from your mind."
