"This book was good. I enjoyed the read, but you have to clean up a few things. I know you mentioned it beforehand, but just to be sure that you are aware. You have a chapter in here about Elara and a warrior getting captured on a mission and thrown in a cell. Then the book goes on to something completely different and we never hear of this again. The only other thing is I wish you would have given us one more chapter and let Elara give birth so we could meet her baby. It just feels like the book isn’t really finished yet. But, truly, your characters and storylines were delightful."
Hard to follow
"Although the storyline seems to have a plot, it is disjointed. I would love to reread it if the chapters flowed better. Trying to follow the past reflections makes you want to go and move the chapter in a more flowing order. I think reading it out loud to yourself and rearranging the chapters would make this a great book."
I liked the story but….
"So the premise of the story was good. I liked the main characters, I liked their journey. The downside was skipping back and forth in timelines and honestly him asking for forgiveness and vowing to show her he’s a better man and her saying she doesn’t know if she can trust him and her heart is melting a little more and she can’t forgive him every other chapter was a little much. If this is a first story you did good. My suggestion would be to have someone do a proofread for consistency. 😊"
