Discovering Madison

"After reading discovering Freya, I couldn’t wait to read the next story. Discovering Madison did not disappoint. The story continues mainly from Madison’s point of view from the evil coven headed by a witch that was only hinted at in the first book. We knew there were some “bad apples” in the pack, but not how deep the infection went. After the trials many pack members faced consequences. Now this evil coven has many members itself and one person and she wants power and has no conscience when it comes to gaining it. Only other sociopaths would understand the logic and lengths this leader will go and who gets used too. Then there is the main characters that are working together to put the coven out of commission. The pack is a great example of how society should work. Everyone in a community working together support each other, individuals working and doing what they do best, and those who are experienced help and guide those who are not. The message of the pack community is healing and so positive, it makes me wonder why we aren’t able to accomplish this in our own societies. The only real criticism I have is of course word flow, punctuation, and in some cases word choice and usage. There were also a few times where it was unclear who was being spoken about or discussed. Please keep writing, I have enjoyed this story so much that I have been reading it for a few hours everyday before bed. "

You're not your

"Great story, both of them. I like the multiple POVs, although they do get a bit tedious when you have to read the same passage from three different viewpoints. Main characters were well developed and had good backstories, my lone complaint about the characters is I think you went a bit overboard on them. Characters disappear for long stretches of time or are only referred to in passing. The main hero has her heat and you don't hear anything from her until four months later. Defeats the purpose of a main character if they can drop out of the story for so long and nothing seems lacking. I didn't need to know the full story of Freya's heat, but Jackson disappears. He isn't even mentioned when Freya returns to the story, albeit in passing reference only. It would help keep people straight if there was a section at the end of the book, or the beginning that listed each clan and had their roster listed. Several times I had no idea who was what in the story and had to ignore it. minor irritation, although everyone does it. Rouge is a makeup product, Rogue is a species of supernatural creature. I blame autocorrect for this one. Looking forward to book 3. Three sisters covered, can we make it four?"

Discovering Madison

"I love your stories! Truly I do, but you need to learn how to use punctuation and you also need to learn the difference between your and you’re, and there, their, and they’re. It makes an incredible difference in how much easier it is to read your work. For such a talented storyteller, such as yourself, invest in your career, take a simple grammar class. It will make a world of difference and give your books the polish to make them shine!"

Enjoyable for the most part

"Just like the first in this series, there are definite positives and negatives. And again, like the first, I did enjoy the story line. The development of the villain, I think is great. Many others as well. But I do have to admit that some of the characters from book 1 don’t feel the same. I get that this one is predominantly about Maddison and her journey (I really wish you could add that bonus chapter into its place). But I find it disappointing at how particularly childish and disjointed Jackson feels after all his revelations and choices in book one. It almost feels like Jacob should be her mate instead. Now Livvy. I absolutely love that adorable little peanut. I just wish she had been introduced even a tiny bit in book 1. And the baby talk is a bit hard to read. But that’s just me. Just like book 1. Grammar, spelling, and punctuation. So very very important. We don’t eat kids. Editing is super important. All that said, I did enjoy reading this book. Looking forward to the next one. "
