After surviving for years as an unwanted foster child, Hudson, goalie for the UNI Lions, now has stability. But how do you get rid of the fear of constantly getting kicked out? Life is fragile and there is no safe place. Hudson refuses to let himself relax. And then he sees the sunshine that is Emilia. She's happy and confident and her smile lights up the room. And when she smiles at him, it makes his heart full. Emilia doesn't understand the solemn goalie. He never smiles and pushes her away as often as he answers her questions. Even so, she thought that since their friends are having a baby together, they should try to get along. Until she finds out that he's also going for the internship. The one he definitely doesn't need, but she does. He's a hockey player who dabbles in art for fun. Art is her life.
