The Day They Met.

It was a normal day when Sheng Wang's mom called him and said "today you need to go to your classes no matter what I'll not listen to your excuses today". Sheng Wang understood that at last after taking holiday for a whole week he had no choice but to go to his classes. It was normal for his mom and him as he was an irregular student in both his school and classes. Even though he was an irregular student, he never got bad grades, which is why his mom never scolded him for being absent from school or classes. At last, he packed his bag unwillingly and started going to his classes......

In class:

Everyone greeted him as the teacher was a little late, and his friends started mocking him, saying, "How the hell did you come today? We thought you wouldn't come for a whole month this time." He mockingly replied, "Who told you I wanted to come? I came today because of my mom."

He then explained the whole story to his friends. After some time, one of his friends said, "Hey, I guess someone new joined our class." Everyone was excited except Sheng Wang, as he never cared about anyone. After a while, the teacher came and began her lecture as usual. During the lecture, someone entered the class and said, "Teacher, may I come in?"

Everyone started chitchatting about the new guy standing at the classroom door, as he was not only handsome but also beautiful at the same time.

Sheng Wang saw him, and suddenly their eyes met, but he ignored him and started looking at his notes. The teacher said, 'Come in, Jiang Tian,' and introduced him to the whole class. While the teacher was giving a math lecture, she asked Jiang Tian a question, which he couldn't answer. Everyone was surprised, as it was a very simple question, but they didn't know that Jiang Tian was good in all subjects except math.Sheng Wang did laugh a bit, as it was a very simple question, and this was noticed by Jiang Tian. However, Sheng Wang didn't know that Jiang Tian saw him laughing at him.

Jiang Tian was upset as he got humiliated on the first day of his classes, especially because he had hoped to make a good impression. The embarrassment weighed heavily on him, and he couldn't shake off the feeling of being judged by his peers. Despite being strong in other subjects, his weakness in math made him feel inadequate, and the quiet laughter from Sheng Wang only added to his frustration. He quietly resolved to keep a low profile for the next few days, determined not to draw any more unwanted attention. The next few days in class were uneventful for Jiang Tian.

He maintained a low profile, keeping to himself and trying his best to blend into the background. Though the sting of his embarrassing first day still lingered, he was determined to stay unnoticed for a while. Sheng Wang, on the other hand, continued his irregular pattern, showing up whenever he felt like it. But something had shifted slightly-his casual indifference now carried an undercurrent of curiosity about the new guy.

Sheng Wang couldn't quite shake off the image of Jiang Tian standing awkwardly at the classroom door on his first day. He hadn't intended to mock him, yet there was something about that moment that stayed with him. Sheng's attention would drift toward Jiang Tian every now and then during class, catching glimpses of him scribbling in his notebook or staring blankly at the blackboard during math lessons. There was a quiet tension between them, though they hadn't exchanged a single word since that day.

Despite their lack of interaction, Jiang Tian noticed Sheng's occasional glances. The quiet acknowledgment between them wasn't missed, though neither made any move to bridge the gap. Jiang Tian, burdened by the weight of his initial failure, remained focused on staying unnoticed. His discomfort in math class persisted, each session becoming a test of endurance, though now with the added pressure of knowing that at least one person had witnessed his struggle.

As days passed, it was clear that Sheng Wang's curiosity wasn't fading. He didn't engage directly, but there was a pull, a quiet observation that grew stronger with each passing lecture. It wasn't about the math anymore, nor about the awkwardness of that first meeting. It was something else-a subtle intrigue that neither fully understood but couldn't ignore.

Jiang Tian continued to struggle in math, each class a reminder of his limitations. He had hoped to move through the term without attracting more attention, but the weight of his inability to grasp the subject began to show. His frustration deepened, and the isolation he had imposed on himself became harder to maintain.

Though Sheng Wang never offered help or words of encouragement, his occasional glances said more than enough. He wasn't judging anymore-if he ever had in the first place. Instead, there was a sense of quiet observation, almost as if he was waiting to see what would happen next. The tension between them remained unspoken, but the connection was undeniable, slowly taking shape beneath the surface of their everyday routine.

Neither acknowledged it, but both sensed that their paths had somehow intertwined.
