Nice Story!
"Finally caught up! And I love, love, love how the story is unfolding! -- My Review as of Chapter XX: Almost -- - Plot - The plot is simply amazing. Starts off with a stake low enough to not overwhelm, intriguing enough to not lose interest. And then there's the Orrathen part. Took up the tension to a whole new level. Loved it. Also, it's nice that the plot gives the readers time to breathe between heavy scenes. (Sylas asking Ren what happened to the emotionally-repressed half-elf gave me a much needed laugh after all their errands.) - Characters - The character dynamics work well, too. There's Ren pushing people away and Elara not letting him do that, and Tetra literally being a ghost and Sylas trying to drag her out of her shadows. (Sylas got me wondering what the heck is going into his mind for the last few chapters 😆) And Naia... well, hope to see more of her: she caught my attention right away. - Writing Style - Descriptive enough, without going too far and dragging the story. One thing I noticed, though, is that sometimes, you describe a single thing several times (take Ren's curse, for example). Maybe you wanted to remind the readers that his life is on the line, and keep the tension, but I think you could mention it less often without losing the tension. Completely optional though. It's also okay this way. And the chapter ends. God, they always get me wondering what happens next. And... oh, I don't think I'm the one who should be talking about grammar. - Closing Thoughts - This story is going pretty well, though it gets overwhelming sometimes (Maybe that's just me, I'm still two years under the age rating lol) But I'll be reading it till it ends. And don't worry, I don't mind it. Actually, those scenes are like a mirror to the real world, so I actually love the fact that you're doing a great job portraying that side of the world! I'll be waiting for your next chapters!"
Definitely a must read
"It's been pretty good so far. Breqien has done a good job creating a unique cast of heroes, and I can't wait for the book to finish! "
