Comforting his wife| Kim Taehyung
The hues of red struck the clouds in the dawn creating sun a dark reddish orange ring settling down below.
Blue sky was now getting dark with every minute passing and soon it's gonna be a nightime.
The clicking and pressing of keys on the keyboard in the flow and the piles of paper in the side was what my day started with and now sitting on chair for last three hours straight, my back was now aching. However the lecture I got in the noon was enough to discourage me to get me to work more furiously. I was not really a raging person but the opposite, still sometimes when others have expectations and you just went downhill then yes it's disheartening.
I had been working on all clerical work from the last few weeks and also preparing for the meeting coming up. Everyone needs break and I was in need of one just for a day or two but to all i know was that I would not get till the next two weeks, so it's better to work than to delay it because for real I need holiday.
Standing from the chair, i stretched my arms a little and cracking my knuckels a bit to relieve the tireness, i shut down the system before saving the files and with me some of the employees also stand up from their places as it was time to leave. Grabbing my purse with my mobile on one hand i reached outside the building. Dialling the number, i placed my phone near my ears and soon the person picked up.
"Yes, y/n are you outside?" The other side called out for me and i replied, "yes, i am, are you on the way" "hmm, i am also leaving my department in a minute wait for me" the voice said and waited for next five minutes in the parking area for my husband who also works in the same building with me but in the other department.
"Y/n, i am here" I turned around to see him coming towards me. It's been like this since the start from the marriage. It maybe awkward and startling at the beginning but with time, I always try my best in this relationship and he does well to.
Walking together till the car, i asked him about his day and although his replies were short but i was glad he responded. Also he asked me and i answered with okay but only i knew that it was not. As the bitter conversation again held me in it's grasped which happened in the noon but nonetheless I don't want to worry him.
We both took a seat in the car and drove away to our house in silence. I was looking at the surroundings outside while his concentration was on the road.
After half an hour we reached and unlocked our house and both entered our room to grab some comfortable clothes.
"Can you please take out the night suit for me too?" He asked sitting on bed looking totally exhausted. His work required standing and walking all day, so yeah he must be tired.
"Yes sure and rest your head on the headrest for a while, I'll be out in a few minutes" placing his black nightsuit on the chair beside the dressing table, i shoved myself in the bathroom to relax a little under the shower. It was comforting and the lingering fragrance of roses from the soap entered my nostrils dazing me and making me sleepy a little.
I recalled how 8 months ago, my parents set me up with him, turned out his parents knew mine from quite a long time and it surprised us both when we met. We knew about each other as we surely seen each other in the office before but never interacted.
I don't have any problem with my parents'choice and he also didn't look like he denied either and within two months of actual Interacting with each other and talking through texts, calls, office and on some little dates we both spent our time.
I got to know he was a little reserved person, so I always maintained my boundaries with him and as a gentleman he was always took care of me through his actions. A perfect match. I think with time we will get more closer too.
Wearing my clothes, i went outside the washroom and saw him resting with his arms on his eyes and maybe sensing that I was here, he looked around and his gaze fell on me and our eyes locked for a moment. I wondered what actually he had around, always attracting me to him whether his personality or his beautiful face. He suddenly looked away as his cheeks looked a little ruddy while I was flustered too and he stood up and grabbing the clothes he entered the washroom while tripping a little in his way.
I giggled and applied some cream on my face and massaged it for some minutes to relax my eyes a bit which were tired from screen time.
He came out of the washroom while drying his hair with towel and with his Balck nighsuit on. He was looking dazzling with his messy hair and his slender fingers running on them and i looked away. I heard him chuckling, i wonder why?
"Hmmm, so why were you stressed before?" His question caught me off guard and my eyes widened. How does he know? Was he observing me?
"Umm..it was..., how do you know?" I questioned back. He scrutinized me for a few seconds and pulled the chair placing it near me and sit on it. "Well, you were so silent in the ride and i also you were sighing a lot" woah, he did know how to observe people just like he did like i am some open book.
Holding my hand he caressed them and again continued, "whether we were strangers a few months ago but now we are tied with each other for lifelong" he was gazing at me so softly that it hurts. The smile surfaced his lips that just like I am seeing stars in his face.
"And as you are my lifelong partner, don't you ever hide something that will hurt you because I am willing to replace everything that hurts you with laughter and smiles" his words were hitting my heart and the emotions i am feeling were beyond anything. "I don't want to worry you" i replied, "but it will worry you right and seeing you like this will worry me too so it's better to share" I smiled.
"Same goes to you Taehyung and about me, i messed up some work in the afternoon so I had to listened to the executive but it was bugging me a little so that's the reason I was stressed" he hummed and his one hand raised and placed on my head patting a little while i leaned in his gentle and loving touch.
"Don't worry about that sometimes we have to listen to bitter things to become better and i think we should take a leave too also after this upcoming meeting to relieve the fatigue, right?" He said and I was so happy so hear him and hugged him placing my arms around him while he placed his chin on my head immediately responding. Thanks heaven to have a husband like him.
