Twists, turns and drama. Ends on a cliff hanger
"This book is well written with good storyline and character depth. As the story progresses there are changes in who comes across as heroes and who are villains. All of the characters are complex and the author delves deep into grey areas of criminality and moral complexity. This story involves human trafficking and has a couple of scenes where main characters engage in significant acts of torture. The story ends at a cliff hanger and I have not seen a second book promoted for this series. "

"I like how it start and I hope there's book two because you left us with so many questions I mean if Phoenix end up with Gregor ,when he's not truly honest with her ,he doesn't love her but he like owning her ,having her around but unsure of forever ,I mean he's using her ,Phoenix is mentally disturb she takes what she can have but doesn't think what if and that is insane because she can't reason what I mean here is that Dimitri never force her , never command her but Gregor ,he's telling her not asking .For it to be end the should be answers, healing ,moving on and really happiness and I can't find that here . This is my first review ever I couldn't stay quite you had my emotions sufficing .Thank you for such a good book ❤"

"But loving this dark romance! For characters involved in criminal activities, the writer has portrayed them as grey characters not as "the ideal man if it wasn't for his criminal side" or "he's a great guy really" ...but ones making decisions that primarily benefit themselves, irrespective of whether it's morally right. In summary, the characters are questionable, the theme's are dark and twists abound...just the way I like a story! "

"This started off well. Then the plot twist was ridiculous. Read about 3/4 of the book and couldn't continue on. Jumped to the last chapter to confirm my disappointment. "
