My Mafia Madness 8 (Matteo's ruthless actions towards the Russians and some surprising reunions)
"WOW was the only thing that I could say after the first chapters that are continuing this outstanding series! Matteo's actions to get rid of Prince Stephan and his men, so suddenly and unexpectedly with that bomb and poison, were shocking. Not to mention his arrogant demeanour when he belittled Stephan and disvalued his authority, together with his toxic obsession towards Alexa and his amusement in playing psychotic games with the Reaper and others, my mouth involuntarily went wide open and I couldn't keep it closed. From the homeless person he was back in Russia (due to his exile), to the one who gathered enough power and influence to end the lives of powerful Mafia people (such as Ivan and Stephan), was utterly mindblown. Not that I root for him, just the opposite, but the entire action with this perfect writing style is far too fascinating and I can't help but keep my enthusiasm at a high level. I'm so emotionally invested in this series that I both adore and hate how much he enjoys teasing Dante and Alexa, knowing this thrilling action is far from over. I doubt that I ever had so many mixed feelings for a book character as for Matteo. From despising him for his crazy mind and darkened soul, to questioning my sanity by being impressed by the occasions he showed softness and affection, then going back to total hatred again. When Dante called Matteo to confidently warn him that he's on his tracks, giving Matteo a few worries, it was a very pleasant moment to kick my feet with excitement. Finally some trouble for him, too. Yet, after another moment of life or death for the Don (and for Nicola, as well), mixed with the awesome altercation between the two brothers, the couple was finally reunited. Not for a long time of peace, I assume, especially since Sasha is coming back into the picture and allying with Matteo. That vixen! This rollercoaster of events is too good to get out of. I can't wait to see what is happening further! 🤩 "

"I just hate that she is going through all of the abuse from Matteo. I have recommended you series to my daughter and a few other people. I love this story at the beginning book 1 to now book 8. Can't wait to read more. Thank you."
