Chapter 1

I can’t describe the way I look. If I did, then it would make it too easy for Psi-Gen to find us. That is not a good thing if they do.

If you’re wondering what my name is, I could give you a name, but it wouldn’t be my name, and neither are any of the other names you’ll find in this document for that matter. For the purpose of explaining what happened to us, and what we are all up against, you can call me Gabe. Yeah. Gabe. That’s as good a name as any, right?

All of this is encrypted, so if you’re able to read this, then it is obvious the decryption key was found. It also means something has happened to us. We are in serious trouble. The truth must get out. The fate of humanity is at stake. There is no stopping Psi-Gen—or whatever name they call themselves now.

I only hope you can help us, or maybe this information will help you, in the future.

Some words of advice: If you ever find yourself on an empty bus after being told you’re headed to a really cool place, get off and run. That’s how all of this started, except I didn’t get off and I didn’t run. I sat down and smiled, thinking I was going somewhere great. I was, but where I was going had different plans for me.
