Why is it that the woman always has to suffer?
"This story is somewhat confusing. The woman seems to bear all the pain. In a fated mates scenario, both individuals should feel the pain, and resisting the attraction should be incredibly difficult. Their first instinct should be to protect their mate, not to punish them. Yet, once again, it’s the girl who suffers. How is it that Carter knows about her past and her father, but Travis remains unaware?What happened to Travis chosen mate?"
