Chapter 1

In a small barrio in Gloria, there was a fiesta, so Grandma invited us over. When we arrived, The feast was like a masterpiece; each dish was a work of art, appealing to the eyes and the aroma was delightful to inhale. The people were like blooming flowers, their smiles as bright and radiant as the sun.

I heard my uncle calling us to join with them and we went to him and I said "Bless po tito" I greeted him with a respectful gesture. And then while I'm eating I realized something, I wondered why there was so much food and why Grandma had invited so many people. It turns out according to her belief,  it brings good luck. Grandma also advised us to avoid making a mess or arguing, saying it would bring badluck. So we simply ate and stayed quiet.

After we ate  we gave thanks to the patron saint, as they believe it brings protection and blessings to the community, later as evening fell, I saw people outsife drinking Lambanog together as a way of marking their joy and celebration and also us are enjoying, My aunt are singing in videoke and my cousins are dancing. After all that celebration, its already midnight that time, so we say goodbye to out relatives and went home.

I couldn't imaginr how that fiesta in Gloria was lovely.
