The girl with the mask hides it very well.
She’s been doing it for years so no one can tell.
She comes with a smile as bright as the sun.
She leaves with a smile, yes the same one.
The girl hides her pain so no one can ask.
Why she decides to hide behind her mask.
No one asks and no one cares.
So she keeps her pain that only she bares.
She tries very hard every single day.
But no one sees her so she just walks away.
She sheds a tear but only one or two.
She has to make sure her smile looks new.
No one will ask so why even hide.
Behind her smile is a massive tide.
But no one cares to bat an eye.
So she chooses to hide behind her lie.
