Chapter 1
In the office, the chatters and whispers of colleagues echoed in the office which turned into dreadful silence. The colleagues who were once talking now got into their work as the elevator door opened and a presence made its way to his office room, emitting a dangerous aurora around him. The sound of his footsteps echoed in every corner of the office which was enough to form a sweat on the colleagues' forehead.
He was dressed in black suit and his face was hidden by a mask. As the presence went in his office room, they breathed a sigh of relief and continued to do their work. No dare to talk while he was present. Everyone loved their job. Besides, their salary is a handsome amount. No one was stupid enough to lose this job.
Meanwhile with him:
"Sir, They are in the meeting room" Idrees said politely, looking at his boss.
"Good" He spoke out, his tone cold, while standing up and heading up to the meeting room.
Seated at the head of the chair, his icy glare piercing them. He signalled them to start with their presentation.
As they started the presentation, he scoffed internally at their confidence while presenting a presentation that lacked the essential information. That information was essential for the deal. How could they make mistakes in it? In the middle of the presentation, his cold yet sharp voice cut through the air .
"Didn't you learn how to create a presentation? Did you create a presentation for the first time!? Is this your first time creating a deal!?"
His world pierced their hearts like ice. They exchanged their uneasy glances but He remained unfazed. They just wasted his time.
"We're not here to play games," he continued, his tone, a mixture of anger and coldness "We need concrete figures and a solid plan if we're going to consider this partnership. When you don't even know the essential information of the deal, do you think I would make a deal with you let alone a partnership."
They gritted their teeth. They knew it was difficult to make a deal with him. He was the king of the business world after all.
"Get out!" He said as his nostril flared while his furious glare pierced them. They immediately left as he stood still furiously.
Calming his mind, he started to make the strategies that would further profit his business. He was alone in the meeting room with a satisfied smirk at the idea that popped up in his mind.
"Idrees!" He called his secretary while standing up, ready to leave.
"Yes, Sir" Idrees replied as he entered the room and stood in the formal way.
"Cancel all the meetings!" He said, leaving the room and went straight outside the office. Sitting in his black luxurious car, he drove himself to a coffee shop. Coffee always calms him down. It was like his comfort place. He called the waiter and ordered a cappuccino for himself. He called someone while waiting for the coffee.
Italic - other person
Normal - him
Assalam o Alaikum! Everything alright? You called after a long time.
Walaikum Salaam! Yes, everything's fine. Do something for me
I will do it. I wonder when you will talk without being cold. Anyway, order!
Buy KTH Company and their every single property. Bring them to the street.
Isn't their company in loss already? Shouldn't It be a loss for you!?
I know how to bring it too high. And of course I will do it for myself. Now do what I said. Next time don't question me!
Sure, I will do. I won't question you again, my fault. I would advise that you should listen to others opinions too!
Without replying, he cut the call and looked around, noticing how everyone was enjoying their freedom without worrying about the consequences. Because they don't have one. Everyone was chatting with each other happily. Some with their friends. Some with their family. Some with their wives.
Family - the word he hates with his guts. The word that he despises. The word that haunts him. The word that became a hell for him. He knew what he was doing right now would have great consequences ahead but at the moment, he didn't care.
"Sir, your order" The waiter interrupted his trains of thoughts. He took the coffee and paid the amount. The delicious yet bitter coffee entered his stomach through his mouth.
As his eyes wandered around the place while drinking coffee, a sight caught his eyes making his mood sour and bitter. The sight of his brother, Bashir, talking and laughing with a person whom he hated, irked the hell out of him. He didn't want him to be with his brother.
He stood up abruptly and went to his car. His hold on the steering wheel tightened as the memories rushed through his mind. The memories were messing his mind. Starting the car, he drove at full speed. But he felt weird as he saw through the rear mirror that two cars were following him. To confirm that they are really following him, he took different turns but found the two same cars following him. Just then, Another two cars came Infront making him to stop the car immediately. He took his mobile and messaged someone after sending him the location. Furiously, he went outside of the car. The two men made their way towards him.
"What the heck is that!?" He growled furiously, his furious glare meeting their eyes. But in return, they smirked while pulling out something from their pocket. It was a gun but his face remained stoic.
"Don't tell me you are going to scare me from the gun" He said, his voice cold despite the inner turmoil he was facing.
"Nope. We won't" One of the guys smirked while pointing the gun at him. As his finger pulled the trigger, the bullet pierced his chest making him stumble. He held the car for the support, his chest bleeding profusely. A hiss escaped his mouth. His face was devoid of any emotions. The man laughed maniacally as he shot him thrice on his stomach. His body touched the ground with a thud. His vision started to blur. His mind detached from reality.
