A Great Beginning
"Very glad the other books are already written! This story sucked me in, and I fell in love. The main character is so relatable, it's uncanny. The interactions with her kids are on point! I stayed up entirely too late to finish this book and paid for it the next day, but it was so worth it! The plot was predictable yet twisted enough to keep it interesting. This is NOT just another werewolf perfect mates novel. I very much love those, however this is much more real for being a fantasy story. Instead of just accepting that fate is a fickle bitch and letting a man take care of her, she is the epitome of a Mama Bear while still allowing herself to roll with the punches. The descriptions make the areas feel real, and the character descriptions paint a clear picture of each person in question, right down to their facial expressions and attitudes. There are a handful of grammar/spelling errors but nothing so major that I feel the need to stop reading or correct before I can move forward. The back and forth dialogue between characters is well done and easily discernable as to who is speaking. I would suggest to the author making the thoughts/mind link into italics to make it a little easier to know what's happening before having to read on to figure it out, but she may have done it that way on purpose because it's mostly the MC POV when it happens. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed this book and am excited to read more from this author. I recently discovered her, and I love the way she writes! So glad she has several more books ready for me to devour! 🥰🥰"
