"I really enjoyed this book even though it took me a little while longer than I hoped to be hooked. The descriptions in this book are fabulous and so are the characters and the dialogue. The plot is intriguing and I liked the flow of the story. The only thing is to break up the paragraphs to make it even easier to read. Other than that, it's an amazing story and would recommend it to anyone who likes romancey novels! Great job!"
A tale of longing...
"I felt engaged into the story and each of the characters. The only part that brought me out of the illusion were the spelling errors, fragmented sentences, and plot details/character placements that did not match up to what was said/described a few paragraphs before. Overall, a great read!"
A Lot of Potential
"I've read several stories on Inkitt. Of them--in my opinion--this is certainly one of the better in terms of writing style. Perhaps I'm a harsh critic; I've read nearly 3,000 books cover to cover--maybe more!--in my lifetime, and I've taken several writing and editing courses. I think the plot line is GOOD. What I would like to see is more showing, less telling. Describe Sophie's inner conflict--what she says to herself/thinks in her head, how her body reacts--when she first discovers her inappropriate desires for Felix; Felix' facial expressions and his body language toward Sophie both before and after she kisses him and the same regarding her encounter with Adriadne. Don't rush through the scenes; use the time to build the sexual tension between Sophie and Felix--while they're trying to hide their mutual attraction from their parents and everyone else. Make us desire their hookup as badly as they do. These are the things that truly make the audience invest in both your storyline and your characters. Truthfully, you have a lot of potential to be among the best authors on this platform--just remember: despite what Felix wants, always show, don't tell! LOL! "
