Building a better world
"lol! Enjoying this so much. This isn’t just a story of girl meets boy, finds out they are mates and lives happily ever after. (Though of course, who doesn’t want that in the end??!) The world that the story is building feels like a new take on werewolf culture. It builds out into how these packs interact, the politics and their values. All the while, it makes the main characters feel like they are growing and developing in a world that is bigger than they are. Finding their way in it and figuring out how to make it work for them. I look forward to every chapter post. Heck, I even had a dream about these characters once which was wild. Never had that happen before! Lol "
Will she sacrifice her heart to win?
"Gorgeous, curly-haired, Zara Talmhach had never been motivated to win before. She had the incredible bad luck of meeting her mate, sexy, muscular Gage Sutherland. Just the sight of his tousled blonde hair, and slanted grin was enough to make her want to wrap her body around his in ecstasy. “No mating until after the trials!” her Uncle Joel warns her, “or you may become disqualified.” Resisting the mating urge is difficult but Zara is determined to succeed. And if that means giving up her fated mate, Gage Sutherland. So be it! At the time of this review there are only eight written chapters, which is a shame, because this book is so much fun to read. Author Midgecentury Modern knows what she’s doing with her deep and flirty characters. And she’s very knowledgeable about wolf culture. So much so that I sometimes study her book to make sure I keep my own wolf characters accurate. I believe this will novel will find great success and popularity …but you gotta add more chapters, Midge. 😉"
