Beyond trust and snakes
Beyond Trust and Snakes
I awaken to greet the rising dawn,
With joy that glows as a new day is born.
A bright morning, calm and fair,
Unaware of snakes that linger there.
But is life truly as it seems?
Or are we blind to deeper schemes?
Trust, emotions, and sympathy’s call—
Are they just words or meanings tall?
No, they hold power, deep and strong,
Guiding hearts when things go wrong.
Yet lost in feelings, we lose our way,
Forgetting to tread with care each day.
In a world of whispers, sly and cold,
Snakes of betrayal slither bold.
Each climb through trials, sharp and steep,
Requires truth, no lies to keep.
So we must strive, with open eyes,
No easy ladders, no hidden lies.
For trust is precious, pure, and rare,
A light to guard in a world unfair.
