Chapter 1 Aftermath of Betrayal
Captain John Price knelt beside Soap’s lifeless body, his hands trembling as he gripped the blood-soaked dog tags. Ghost and Gaz stood in silence, their shadows long and distorted in the flickering firelight.
“We’re not finished,” Price growled, his voice thick with grief. “Not until Makarov pays.”
Soap’s death wasn’t just another casualty of war—it was personal. It was a dagger plunged deep into the heart of Task Force 141.
The mission was a failure. Makarov had escaped again, leaving chaos in his wake. But as Price lit his cigar, the smoldering tip reflected the fire burning in his eyes. Revenge was no longer an objective; it was a promise.
“Intel suggests Makarov’s right-hand man has gone dark,” Gaz said, breaking the silence. “Last sighting puts him in Prague, coordinating strikes across Europe.”
Price nodded, rising to his feet. “Then that’s where we’re going.”
