October Prologue
October is here and this is the month that everyone prepares for Halloween. The holiday that is known for giving everyone the creeps while handing out candy, people always enjoy going trick-or-treating in their costumes or perhaps catch a horror flick or two. They also have the opportunity to visit a haunted house maybe.
But perhaps nothing makes a great Halloween than the actions of the supernatural and fate that brings even curious people to look into it. Sometimes, things that we can’t explain could be the key to finding the heart of those you love. In our next story, two former castmates will find out what one particular place brings to them when they are reunited together.
October: Ruth Flemming and Yanky Cowher (Down By The Station)
Ruth Fleming is currently a single mother of one while reminiscing of her previous days as an actress. She lives in the same town as the train station, the site of one of the most popular children’s TV shows, which she happened to be a star on. Over the years, she makes appearances at the station to help celebrate Halloween. But this year, a surprise is in store as Ruth’s former co-star Yanky Cowher is set to arrive.
Life hasn’t been great for the actor, who has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons. Recent arrests, a second marriage ending in divorce, and box-office failures. When an opportunity comes up to reunite with Ruth at the train station, Yanky reluctantly agrees. However, no one knows what fate and twists are in store for these two as they reminisce on their past while also pondering their future.
