Small town Love. Small town Cult.

Dear Diary, 

It's me Leah again here to vent about the day and probably go on and on about this new guy that came to school today! His name is Vince Myers and, boy there's so many rumors going around about him already. I mean he's only been here a few weeks, but you know how anything new and exciting spreads like wildfire in a small boring town like ours here in Amana. Some of the rumors are pretty extreme, but all I can say is damn he is cute! In the "bad boy from out of town" kind of way anyways. It's rumored that he got permanently kicked out of his last private school for some pretty extreme fighting! 

The rumor is that he was in a gang in New York and got kicked out of school for beating up half of the football team with his group of friends. I guess his reasoning was because they were picking on a "nerdy" kid and Vince didn't like that so he wanted to show them what it felt like to get bullied. It's said that two of the football players ended up in the hospital with really serious injuries. Injuries like one of the boys got a broken rib that popped a hole in his lung, I guess it was a pretty serious situation.

All the girls think he is so hot of course including me but, I don't blame them he is indeed " Hot". I don't want to seem like a stalker but I do watch him from a distance pretty heavily. He seems to be very quiet himself, he doesn't really go out of his way to talk to anyone except the teachers. He seems like a keep your head low type of guy.

Anyways less about this cutie vince and more about my day! Today was rather boring, since class was about as lame as ever. It was just another boring lecture and worksheet as always with Ms. Anderson. Then in math class today i wanted to kill myself because we were working on the quadratic formula and I "Suck" at math. Unlike the golden girl of our school Missy Eden, I swear she was crafted from the gods of perfection! Everything about her is perfect! It feels like everyone at school is obsessed with her for one reason or another whether that be her perfect teeth, banging cheerleader body or even her super sweet demeanor. I see beneath it though she's fake like all the other "popular girls". I don't rate nearly as well on the scale of popularity as Missy Eden but I rate myself a solid six on a good day! 

My best friend Darcy always seems to boost my confidence when I need it and I'm grateful for her! As for the night at home it was pretty good which happens sometimes but not often. I've caught myself isolating myself in my room so I don't have to be social, I already have to be social at school so I really need a break. I spend a lot of time daydreaming about the life that I want when I decide to move out of this little town I live in here in iowa. Don't get me wrong but I really want to live in a big city with all the lights and opportunities. Speaking of pretty lights and big cities, Vince is from New york city, like he literally came all the way to Iowa! Either way it's getting pretty late so I think I'm gonna go to bed and figure out how I'm gonna manipulate a situation so that I can force myself to talk to vince.
