Un asesino en serie acecha la ciudad, dejando un rastro macabro de víctimas. Su modus operandi es aterrador: corta partes de la cara de sus víctimas, como si intentara borrar sus identidades. Mientras la policía se ve impotente ante la brutalidad de los crímenes, un detective obsesionado con el caso comienza a desentrañar una mente perturbada, donde cada corte es una pieza de un rompecabezas mucho más oscuro.
