Little knowledge is dangerous
Once upon a time their was a lovely couple Christesh and Sadaifee. They lived happily in a village switzpur.
Christesh was a farmer. Last year he had sowed beetroot in his field. The yield he obtained from that season was low. Saidaifee was very sad due to this. She thought his husband was not using the right technique for the farming. According to Christesh he did his work perfectly.
So decided they will divide the farm in two parts. One part will be farmed using his technique and othe part using Saidaifee technique.
Crop reaped from Christesh part was called "Savitri" and Saidaifee part crop was called as "Noorie". They laboured hard in their field. Months passed.
Switzpur was ruled by a ruler called Asifitya. He thought he was the most intelligent person in the world. So automatically he becomes the best ruler in the world. He started loathing about this to everyone. One fine day her wife Sandravati came to him with a question. She said I was walking in the park I felt trees want something from me. You are the intelligent one please answer my query.
King went to the trees. He observed the tree. He came with no reply. He had no answer.
Sandravati then started teasing the king saying it seems you are not theost intelligent one.
This infuriated the king. Agitated he at once ordered the guard to go in all parts as spies and inquire for the truth . As what do citizens think of him.
Spies started doing their work. One fine night when Christesh and Saidaifee had finished their dinner. They started having light talk. At same moment a spy started listening to their private conversation from the wondow.
Christesh said " Tomorrow I will chop Noorie. Her beauty blinds me. She is so healthy. I can see red colour within her. I am waiting for the day when I cut her and I drink that red. Ha ha haaa".
Saidaifee too jokingly replied " Savaitri is too thin. But I feel she has too much redness within her. Tomorrow I will take Savitri to my mothers place. We will cut her and eat her. Ha ha haa.
Tomorrow night I will tell you if Savitri was good or not.
Spy was taken aback. In the absence of knowledge of the "whole truth". He thought the couple was talking about real people. So he immediately left for king. He was briefed about the plan which couple were making.
Asifitya at once ordered his troop to arrest the couple.
When the Army reached Christesh house they found Saidaifee was no where.
She had left early in the morning to his mothers house with some beet roots.
Christesh was produced in front of the king. Till now he was not allowed to talk or explain anything.
When king met Christesh he started scolding and asked where was her wife. Where is she planning to kill a poor girl?
Christesh was clueless. He was briefed about yesterday incident by the spy.
Christesh started laughing. He informed the king with respect that it was beetroot about which they were talking. If the king suspects him. He could send his troop to his mother in law house. King followed what Christesh said.
Troop reached Saidaifee's mothers house. They saw Saidaifee with some beetroots. Christesh was right. Everyone laughed and giggled among themselves. Together with Saidaifee and her mother they reached the palace.
Saidaifee told the king the whole truth how she was disappointed with beetroot yield and how they named their crop.
Everyone was laughing. King and Sandravati laughed too. King had realised that he was wrong in conssidering himself the most intelligent one.
Saidaifee was asked to feed beetroot to them all with her part of field. She happily obeyed. They were delicious.
Sandravati then told her about the incident when she felt trees wanted to say something. Saiadifee asked permission to see the trees.
She saw the trees. After which she told Sandravati that trees want to eat dung. If they are fed with dung they will be able to bear more fruits.
Everyone was happy in the end.
Lesson learnt is spy never gets to know the real truth. He just gets too know what he wants to believe. 😈
