First meeting
“Mr. Dahl we have the file!”
Aron didn't understand how he didn't realize that someone had entered his office. It was the first time in his life that he lost attention and it was not at all good for him in view of his responsibilities. he couldn't let himself be distracted no matter the situation. He turned back to his private detective and retrieved the file. he could have done this work himself since he had all the abilities to achieve it but only, a nameless darkness possessed his soul, leaving no compassion for anyone. he avoided putting himself on the ground just so as not to cause damage that he would certainly not regret, but sowing terror in this city was not his objective.
“You did a good job. Now you can leave me.”
“Of course Mr.”
When he left, Aron looked at the file with dark eyes. He knew that the people they hired never did the job halfway so he was sure he had everything he needed in this document. He went to lock the door to his office. he had difficulty controlling his anger and knew that if this information made him angry, he would end up taking the form of the being he was inside and if that were to happen, he would have to be alone because that not all his employees had his nature.
for a moment, he thought about taking chains to tie himself down to control himself in case his animal side appeared. He knew he wouldn't need five minutes to break the chains but it was always better to try.
he went to this drawer that he only opened during full moons and opened it. He was looking at each item in there looking for the one that would help him best when his phone started ringing. he didn't want to be interrupted in his task but he couldn't do otherwise since there were emergencies to deal with every time.
He went to retrieve his phone from the desk and saw that it was his cousin calling him. the latter was like his brother and he had always been there for him in difficult situations. He couldn't ignore her call.
“Saga what’s going on?”
“I know you must be busy, Aron and I can handle the situation well but she insists that you come. she just had a slight accident when she arrived but she insists that you come.”
He didn't need to specify who he was talking about for him to understand. This girl was so capricious that it irritated her sometimes. it was about going to the other end of the city and fortunately he didn't need to take the car since it would slow him down. Going on all fours would be quicker.
he left his office and passed his secretary's and told her that he was going away for a few hours. He then went out and took the car, it was just in order to get within a certain distance before leaving it.
after driving for a few minutes like a madman ignoring any traffic lights, he finally parked on the side of a deserted road. He went out and looked around and it was finally time to take the form of the being he really was. his hands and then his arms were covered with hair revealing claws when he heard a noise similar to that of screeching tires. He turned to the side and saw a red car stop. this darkness which reflected the anger which consumed his soul manifested itself in his eyes even though he was certain that they were already blood red and green reflecting his true nature. It was difficult to end his transformation because it was painful. he hoped that the person behind the wheel would continue on his way but it was the opposite. He saw the door open and honey-colored hair began to twirl in the whim of the wind. he looked down and noticed that it was a woman who was wearing a white blouse slipped into her black suit which suited her perfectly, her long legs were bare and her feet were wearing black pumps. he hadn't taken his eyes off her as she crossed the road.
A feeling of danger hit him and very quickly he looked at both ends of the road and saw a car coming at full speed while this girl was in the middle of the road. his protective instinct kicked in and he rushed towards her. He knew he too was risking his life but a part of him forced him to save her. He caught her before the car hit her. he managed to save her without failing to escape with a scratch.
he felt so good for a while but didn't know how until he realized he was on top of this girl. He stood up with lightning speed and she did the same thing.
“I think right now I would be taking a trip to see my family in heaven if you weren’t here. Thank you M. and by the way, how did you manage to do that? This car was two steps away from me and I didn't even see you coming. do you have superpowers? that would be normal because you are very beautiful and besides..." She looked at her arm and opened her eyes wide "you are injured. I think I have a first aid kit in my car so I’ll go get it and treat you now.”
" Enough !" Aron yelled.
She stopped abruptly and turned around like an automaton. She didn't seem to understand anything and he didn't think he had any explanations to give her. He wanted her gone so he could leave.
“You must be late so, don’t worry about me.” It’s just a cut and in two minutes there won’t even be a scar.”
She frowned and retraced her steps. She raised her hand to touch him but he took a few steps back.
“Who are you exactly?” ah I see, you watch too many films and that’s why you talk like that. Now I’m going to get the first aid kit and that’s non-negotiable.”
“And I tell you that it’s not necessary. It is my blood that flows and not yours so obey and leave. This road is very deserted and you will run the risk of remaining there and alone when I leave.”
She looked around and realized he was right. She didn't even remember why he had stopped there, in the middle of nowhere.
“I thank you for saving my life and I owe you that, so don’t hesitate if you ever need anything.”
She left without waiting for his response and Aron huffed. this kind of child whose life forced him to meet and yet he was a solitary man who did not like encumbrances.
