THE WEIGHT OF WINGS

The weight of wings ravels,

Quicksand and time travels.

Enemies and rivals,

In a gambit of final.

The sacrifice of a pawn saves the king,

Only to be a checkmate by a queen's king.

Kings are common; only differ in color,

Or are the kings different, the same in color?

Portals are open, wanting someone to dive,

In the mockery of the silent heights.

Never mind, the amperes travel that way,

Negatives and positives all the way.

Neutral is the term for them combined,

Wanting to disperse the turbulence inside.

Pointed and nailed, pierced down;

Crispy and crunchy combo compound.

Encumbrance the heavy, onus the draining,

Fierce the charger, vexed the charging.

Tornado discharging terror discharged,

Dwelling is the term, but dwell on the start.

Ripples of water get surprised,

Only to find violence and tides.

Air, the pollutant; gale, the hazard.

Mass, the mess; trail, the wizard.

Freedom is easy; embracing is hard.

Gold glitters, glitters spark.

Wanting to fly, walking is hard.

The weight of wings withers hard.

YukkeTee: This isn’t just a romance. It’s the kind of slow-burn, messy kind of love that feels real—where two people carry scars and walls, and still choose each other anyway. The tension isn’t just between them; it’s in the quiet moments, the way they fumble through vulnerability, and the small, unspoken act...
