Prologue
Darkness. My life is nothing but darkness. Losing Legacy sent me back into that same darkness that I went into after losing Hitomi.
I am lost in this darkness. With no light at the end of that tunnel, I’m stuck in this never-ending darkness.
I know that since I’m a vampire, there is another mate for me somewhere. I’ve given up hope of finding her though. I’d rather be alone than have to deal with this pain again. This pain is too much to bear.
I beg you, Tsukiyomi, release me from my suffering. Take away this pain in my unbeating vampire heart.
