Summary

This story is about the character Susan, created by C.S. Lewis, who lost her faith and never truly believed in Narnia or the adventures she had with her siblings, Peter, Edmund, and Lucy. After the tragic train accident that claimed the lives of Edmund, Peter, and Lucy, Susan was left feeling sad and clinging to her past experiences in Narnia. However, she is called back to Narnia to stop the spreading dark magic. Susan, along with Alaric, returns to Narnia, where Alaric tries to remind her of her past as a Queen of Narnia. Together with Alaric and other Narnians who sided with good, they battle against the Dark Sorcerer. With the help of Narnia's magic and Aslan, they ultimately triumph.

Dear Reader,

Welcome to a journey through the world of Narnia—a place of magic, hope, and wonder. My name is Kim Bayan, and I am from the Philippines. Like many of you, I have always been deeply moved by C.S. Lewis’s Narnia and its unforgettable characters. But one character, in particular, has always lingered in my heart: Susan Pevensie.

In the original stories, Susan is cast aside, labeled as “not a friend of Narnia,” and her journey feels incomplete. For years, I felt that there was more to her story, a story that deserved redemption, a chance to prove that it is never too late to return, to heal, and to reclaim what was lost.

This story is my way of giving Susan the justice she deserves. It is a reimagining, a second chance for a beloved character who, like all of us, has faced mistakes, doubts, and struggles. Through these pages, I hope to show that no matter how far we fall or how much we wander, there is always a path to redemption, and sometimes, the journey back to grace is the most powerful one of all.

I invite you to walk with Susan, Alaric, and the many other characters who cross paths with them in this adventure. My hope is that their story will inspire you, remind you of the magic of Narnia, and perhaps even awaken a spark of redemption in your own heart.
