" One minute more, i pleaded, not wanting to stand up. " You said that ten minutes ago," Mum said, trying effortlessly to wake me up from my slumber . oh, sorry, I forgot to introduce myself.
my name is Annabelle Roblins. well, Anna, for short, and I am running late to school on my first day in San Marino High. Actually, I'm a transfer student. Had to move to Carlifonia cause dad got a new job offer there.
" Fine mum," I said, getting up slowly and walking towards the bathroom. After doing my thing, I tied my long black hair into two neat ponytails, adjusted my glasses, and took a step back from the mirror to look at myself. you bet I looked good. my blue and black flay skirt with my long sleeved white shirt made me look really nice.
" Wow," Mum said as I descended the stairs. " You look really beautiful," she added as I sat down to have my breakfast. I smiled at my mom's compliment before thanking her.
" Good morning, dad." I greeted as I just noticed the presence of my dad. " Morning princess," dad responded. " Eat up," he added as I began to eat my breakfast.
" Bye, dad," I said, coming down from the car before he drove off. I sighed as I walked into the corridor of San Marino High. It was noisy, a little bit more noisy than my former school . looking around for my locker with the key in my hand. I bumped I to someone. " Sorry," we both said simultaneously . looking up, I saw a very, very beautiful girl. long black hair, beautifully shaped nose. beautiful pink lips, and puffy pink cheeks.
" Hi, I'm clare," she said and gave me a large toothy grin. An-n-anabelle, " I said and internally slapped myself for stuttering again. " ooh, you are a new transfer student ?" she asked." Yes, " i answered, paying close attention to my lups so i dont stutter again. " You seem lost," she said with the same beautiful smile. I just nodded my head out of instincts. " Please, can you show me where the locker is?" I said before I could stop myself. " Sure," she said before taking the key from me and directing me to my locker. It seems my stay in San Marino High is going to be better than i imagined.
XAVIER
" So the X and Y axis are ..........". Mr Gates kept saying those words that were going anywhere but my head . I was waiting patiently for the bell to ring. I had to get to clare. she sounded serious when she said she had something important to discuss with me. And just like a miracle, I heard the bell ring. I rushed out of the class, running like someone,who was being chased, but just as I was about to make the last turn before I get to the cafeteria, I bumped into something or someone. " ouch", I heard a little voice say before i realised i had knocked someone down. " I'm sorry." I half screamed as i continued my journey towards the cafeteria.
" Happy birthday, xavier!" clare and the rest of the guys shouted immediately. i got to the cafeteria. Jeez, I had totally forgotten that it was the 25th of September already. I'm finally eighteen. Whoa, I finally get my own car. "Don't you like it?" clare asked, jolting me out of my thoughts. " Sorry, clare, but I don't like it," I said with a little smile. " What?" clare screamed, walking towards me with anger written all over her face. " After all my hard work to put this together," she continued, still walking towards me. " I love it," I said, chuckling, making her halt. "What the" she said, looking at me confused . I simply hugged her tightly and whispered" thank you" into her ears. " I love it." I said once again. "Thank you, everyone. this means a lot to me, " I said to the rest of my friends after I broke out from the hug. I can't wait to get home and tell Mr George Davies that I was finally eighteen and can now own my own car.

"Oh, what a boring class!" I yawned, walking out of the physics class conducted by Miss Stella. she almost made everyone in class sleep, now she hot me wondering, was her class always this boring or is it just today? I thought before I hit a figure. " Ouch," I said, rubbing my knee, which was a little bruised from the fall. " I'm sorry," I heard my knocker say, and before I could react, he was out of the corridor. I got up and made my way to the cafeteria, or anywhere I saw eighty per cent of the students in the corridor heading to. I was hungry, unusually hungry, I would say cause I wasn't really a foodie person.
" it means a lot to me." I heard someone say immediately I got yo the cafeteria.The sight before me was a birthday surprise. I figured that the celebrant was a guy named Xavier through a large banner that had Happy birthday Xavier written on it, which was carried by some students. I looked to my left and saw a particular hair that looked familiar. " clare," I thought as realisation hit me. But that wasn't the only thing i realised because everyone in the cafeteria turned to face me. I had said that out and loudly, too. My very first day in a new school, and i already embarrassed myself a number of times.
XAVIER
" clare" I heard someone say and I turned my head to where the voice came from. The face was strange, I have been in San Marino High since Junior high and I don't think I have ever seen a face like this before. not like I knew everyone in school but the face just doesn't click. " Hi Anna " I heard clare say before walking towards her. They conversed for a minute or two before clarr noticed my presence. " forgive my manners, Anna, this is Xavier, my best friend and the birthday boy, and Xavier, meet Anna, a new transfer student and my new friend"." Nice to meet you" I said extending my hands for a handshake. That was when I finally got to look at her closely. she had long shining brown hair which was packed into two neat ponytails. My eyes continued to scan her face till it got to her lips, they were very beautiful. ' oooh, Xavier stop' I said as I mentally corrected myself. " nice..to ..meet..you..too' she said accepting the handshake. Her shyness was cute, too cute for me to handle as I began to smile. " oh my" clare half screamed jolting me out of my thoughts. " what happened to you?" she asked pointing to her slightly bruised knee. " I got knocked down by someone on my way to the cafeteria, but its fine" she said. ' knocked down, knocked down' I kept repeating to myself. Did I just knock down the new student on her first day? yes I did...
