The Boy In The Woods❤️💔

"This was so beautiful, sad, and heartbreaking, but so very enjoyable to read. This is a very emotional story from the beginning, you could always sense it wasn’t going to be a happy ending, but I really did like the way the author ended the story. Thank you so much for sharing this amazing story with us.❤️💔"

The boy in the woods

"Wonderfully paced story of the love between twins. A tight narrative style that pulls you on into a special world. It intertwines a mystical forest, bounded by loving memories with a search for a missing boy... A ghost? A memory come to life? Perhaps he is just a dream. Great work, worth your time. Yes, read this! "

An emotional and suspensful short story

"This short but well-conceived short story has a few bits of fantasy and mystery woven into it. It is a very simple story about a woman's search for the spirit of her long-lost twin brother with a somewhat dark twist at the end. The Positives: Overall good plotting, considering it's a short story. I like the descriptions and the overall theme and mystery. The Negatives: The author can improve on the technical and stylistic aspects of writing. I would suggest looking more at the repetition of certain phrases and sentence structures. The middle parts of both chapters are a bit of a slog to get through due to a lack of variation or truly meaningful events. One of the challenges of short stories is there is less room for simple plot delivery. Every part must be full of meaning, and in some places that isn't the case here. That said, the story was still enjoyable, and I actually would have appreciated a longer and more drawn-out work that more deeply explored the character's feelings and history. The author noted in the groups that they do not feel up to making longer works, and I disagree. I think it would be a worthy challenge for this author to take interesting ideas like what is presented here and dig deeper into them, giving us a much more provocative story and meaning."
