Summary

“What should we do to seal the deal?” he asked as he held her chin and made her face him. Out of sheer habit she bit her lower lip as she thought. “Do you by chance want um-ahem want a kiss?” she said out of nowhere before placing her lips gently upon his leaving Kyran stumped. He soon regained his countenance and smirked. “Is that what you call a kiss?” he teased before he lowered his head while pulling her face to his and he claimed her lips. Delilah’s eyes were agape as she felt his hand slither onto her waist down to her rump and he groped it. “You-…Mhn” she whimpered as he bit and sucked on her lower lip and did the same to her upper lip before his tongue slid into her mouth and caressed her own making her feel weak and fuzzy-minded.

Chapter 1

Chapter 1

The heavy and pungent odor of blood pervaded within the dungeon and a young frail woman who seemed to be on the verge of death had been confined in it for a few years. Her neck, legs and hands were bound such that there were several abrasions on those areas that led to welts and infections. She was tortured and treated inhumanely, the people who locked her up were unsympathetic and unfeeling in the four years she was locked up she was given spoilt food, no water and the only time she had a ‘bath’ was when she was tortured by being drowned in cold water.

She felt so weak, she was cold and hungry, hungry for vengeance but she could only ever wish of getting free.

Through her thick outgrown bangs were the eyes of a woman who no longer felt any emotions, they had lost their luster and looked quite dull, she only wished for carnage. Carnage for her captors and for all those who betrayed her and destroyed her life. “If it isn’t the little Southern princess, I so thought you were long dead” Deana said her tone crisp with abhorrence “you are so dirty and yet still so pretty but your beauty has done nothing for you, your husband never loved you and for nine years he has used you ha-ha I am his woman” Deana held her chin squeezing it in attempts to crush her jaw “I can’t believe you did this to me, you are a cheap, conniving wretch” Delilah scowled at Deana her voice hoarse and unpleasant to the ear.

“if our mother knew you’d end up like this she would’ve never wasted money on you and later being killed because of debts” she laughed as she shrugged off the insult “Such disappointment you did not finish school, you’re in such a deplorable state and couldn’t keep your man humph” she derided with a scornful tone. Delilah lunged at Deana with killing intent, but she was suddenly pushed with such tremendous force that sent her weak and frail body across the room crashing against the wall. Her body was so weak to such an extent that the impact broke her ribs. It was so painful, her face turned ashen.

She held her abdomen as she looked at the silhouette that just pushed her so harshly, her body trembled as she saw who it was. “Don’t you dare try to hurt my woman” her husband spoke with such fervor it seemed like Deana was the wife and not her. “Woman humph?” she scoffed her tone uncharacteristically condescending as she spit out blood. Deana placed her body against Leo’s, and he firmly held her waist as he examined if she was hurt. “Are you hurt?” he asked tenderly. Deana put on a pitiful expression, tears rowing down her cheeks. “n-no” she buried her face into his chest.

“You two make quite an eye catching pair of lovers. A lecher who thinks with his lower body and his dirty slut ha-ah” she let out a throaty giggle. “it’s funny how you taunt me for being unable to keep a man when you crawled into your brother-in-laws bed” Delilah said leisurely throwing Deana a derogatory glance “ I guess I was blinded by crap to have interest in a man as unsatisfactory as you” Delilah sneered before spitting at his shoes. Leo’s eyes flashed with surprise before it turned to hatred and disgust he turned fiercely towards Delilah and took out his gun aiming for her chest.*bang*bang*bang* he shot mercilessly as he looked at the woman coldly.

As if she was but a mere hurdle that needed to be rid of.
