Chapter 1: Hiding
Daisy and Luigi were sitting down on the couch looking outside the area of Saffron City. There, the Earthbound boys, Ness and Lucas, were playing with each other.
“They sure do have a lot of energy.” Daisy exclaimed.
“They are kids after all,” Luigi replied.
As the two looked out the area, Mythra retorted. “They’re not kids anymore. I thought we came up with a name for them. The ‘Monstoria’ or whatever.”
Daisy groaned. “Are you really that upset about our match being canceled?”
“No! I was just making a statement. Those two are not Ness and Lucas. Not anymore.”
An intense glare came from Daisy as her anger was slowly starting to rise. “I know you never met them for very long, Mythra, but they’re still our friends.” The princess tried to say this as politely as she could, much to her dismay.
Luigi agreed with Daisy, as he knew Ness the longest, but also can’t help but agree to Mythra. Not that he would admit that right now.
“Well, your friends are destroying a city and quite possibly killed multiple people at the moment.”
“Oh yeah? Didn’t you destroy some Titans yourself, Aegis...”
Mythra was taken aback a bit. “That’s not the point. The point is that those two aren’t Ness and Lucas anymore. They don’t even look like themselves anymore!”
Daisy just rolled eyes. “Sure, whatever.....bitch.”
“What did you just call me?”
At this moment, Luigi was really trying to get Daisy calm, telling her to sit down and take deep breaths. However, Daisy didn’t seem to be in the mood to calm down.
The only one that managed to stop the oncoming bloodlust from both girls was Leaf, a Pokémon Trainer from Kanto.
“Please stop! I can’t take this anymore. All your arguments are killing me.” She shouted.
The other three flinched and looked at Leaf, who was crying. “L-leaf, we thought you were asleep.” Luigi replied.
“And how can I sleep with this racket! How can I!”
...
“I’m sorry. It’s just that... ever since the attack, I can’t help but think of Saffron City and everyone else. I wonder how Professor Oak is. I want to know if Blue is alright. But I want to know if Red is okay too...” Leaf tearfully replied.
Mythra wanted to reach out and hug her, but she didn’t. On the contrary, Daisy did and told her that everything is going to be okay.
It seemed that even for a moment, things were fine now...however a loud bang shook the area. As the others looked outside they found Olimar’s ship...
But no sign of Olimar himself.
