Chapter 1: the beginning
Hi, I'm a worker drone minning minerals off a planet called "Kepler 27b" for necus in spaace.
A international company that mines minerals off of class-d planets and turns them into jewelry with the help of worker droones.
The worker drones were designed to do tasks that the humans couldn't like operating dangerous machines or mining in dangerous caves,so to put it in simple terms the humans didn't care about them as long as yhey didn't have to risk their own lives.
Until they somehow whipped themselves out,and turned Kepler 27b's surface into a frozen wasteland making it almost impossible to survive,but one thing did survive and that was the worker drones.
They picked up the pieces the humans left behind,and became the humans learning from what they left,but the company wasn't happy about it,so they sent disassembly drones to take care of them!
The disassembly drones were designed to destroy any defective drones in the most gruesome way possible,so when they landed on Kepler 27b it was a slaughter!
Worker drones were dying,and it was almost a tragic end for us until my dad "Jake the great" found an abandoned being bunker, and created three doors,he named them omega,alpha,sigma.
He turned it into a safe house for worker drones,and when the time was right he lead them in inside then sealed them in leaving the murder drones and any unfortunate worker drones in the wasteland.
Kai smiled, and said in a excited tone "that's why I made a cool, railgun" as he showed his whole class it hoping that they would cheer for him.
His class talked about him quietly then his teacher said in a depressed tone like he didn't want to teach the class anymore "Kai,you know that you had to do a project on multiplying numbers" as he wrote down his grade on a piece of paper.
His classmate " Lily" said to him in a sarcastic tone " well look at this another one of kai's science fair projects that always explode" as she smirked knowing that she was right.
He glared at her,and said in a slightly angry tone "shut up it'll work,and it won't explode" as he powers it up then it explodes leaving a black smog that covers the entire classroom.
Everyone ran out the classroom,and the teacher sends him to the principal's office then he sits there thinking about how he can improve his railgun.
His best friend "Thad" sat down besides him,and he said down n a chilll tone " what are you here for" as laid back in his chair?
He looked at him with a smile on his face,and siad " I'm here because the railgun I made exploded,but I'm going to improve it "as he showed him it.
Thad's eyes widen and he said in a surprised tone" that's really cool that you made that railgun,but I'm actually here because i wanted to invite you to my birthday party.
He looksat him,and says "I accept your invite,but I must do something very important first" then he gets up and goes to the omega door on the way he grabs the special key card that opens all the doors form his dad's room.
He opens the omwga door then the alpha door,but when he reaches the sigma door he's greeted by his dad asking him "Kai, what are you doing"?
Kai hesitates for second,but he says "I'm doing uh... a project for class,and I need uh...check out the first door" as he tried to make it seem convincing,but it looked like his father wasn't buying it.
His father tilted his head,and said with a smile "so you want to become a door builder" as he looked at him with a suspicion.
Kai nods as he opened the final door stepping out of the bunker into the frozen wasteland,but his dather stopped himand said "promise me that you'll be careful,and remember that I love you" as he pulled him into a hug. Kai hugged him back and said with a smile " I promise that I will be careful,and I love you too" as he waved goodbye walking to him as he walked out the bunker into the wasteland.
