Once there was a magician named Vidhu who loved doing magic. He had a pet rabbit, Chiku. Together they used to do all kind of magics.
Vidhu loved experimenting while inventing new magic tricks. For this he needed a very brave and very foolish animal. But Chiku was not that brave and he had questioning attitude too. So Vidhu had an idea. According to his plans he made Chiku unconscious. While in his unconsciousness he chopped Chiku’s tongue, ears, eyes, limbs, face and some internal organs. These organs were replaced by new artificial limbs. Which looked just like an original limbs.
These limbs and original organs where in such a way they played with the truth what Chiku saw, heared, and sensed. His emotions as well as his tongue where slave to Vidhu.
Now Vidhu felt happy. He had created a dare devil. Chiku who felt nothing was just an honest slave who felt he had free will and was seeing the truth. But it his free will was slave of Vidhu. So was his emotions, actions and urges. Several time he had incident when he faced the mirror and asked himself who am I? Am I the reflection, shadow, darkness, light or the actions? Unanswered and insatisfied he spent days.
Vidhu invented new tricks. He became the most famous magician in the world. One fine day he got another pet rabbit. He decided to perform the same operation on the new rabbit. This time he also made Chiku his assistant. Through the whole process Chiku was sad. He could not bear the pain of fellow being mistreated. But he kept mum.
Soon his silence took an evil turn. Now he wanted to do the same process. He wanted to become better magician then Vidhu as he was bravest than him. So he decided to perform an operation on Vidhu when he was asleep. An operation which will make him forget his past his magic everything.
Operation was done. With the pace Vidhu was forgetting his past with the same pace Chiku’ limbs and internal organs started loosing power. It was the spell of Vidhu which was giving power to Chiku’s limbs.
Chiku could not move. His body was motionless. He just waited for Vidhu to gain consciousness. May be he knew solution to this. After 2 days Vidhu gained consciousness. He did not remember anything.
Both of them where next. To each other. Vidhu who did not remember anything watched Chiku from his bed. Chiku who knew half of the real story could sense Vidhu’ s presence. He felt guilty for all this.
Days passed by soon their body started to recover. After some months Chiku got back his body back again. Similarly Vidhu regained his lost memory, internal organs and limbs.
During his days of recovery. He had always observed Chiku emotions. Chiku had a guilt in himself. Vidhi knew the whole story. He realised his evil desired h back fired on himself. It was not Chiku who was at fault it was he who had backstabbed Chiku. He kept mum and waited for the day when he could tell Chiku the whole story and ask for his forgivness.
