What is your opinion?

The best age-gap, small-town romance!

"Where do I even start?! This is my first subscription book I’ve ever written, and I’m glad I picked this one (versus my other two original romances), because this book was inspired by two things. One being some of my favorite small-town romance paperbacks I read IRL, and two being a whole series (3 other books) that I’d had thought up before this book. I had made their book covers, created character names, the location of the books, and even wrote each one of their prologues. This book doesn’t have a prologue, but when I read a certain small-town romance, I instantly thought up this book and thought it would be a perfect first book to the series I described above. These books will able to be read as standalones, being loosely connected. They’ll all have similar themes and tropes (one being an age gap), but they’ll have their own uniqueness. When I was creating Walker, and everything he’s been through in his life, I thought what type of woman could I create that would just fit him in the most unusual way? Then came Daisy, who has also experienced loss and trauma in her life like Walker, but is still this beautiful, magnetic, stubborn, and charming girl. She being Walker’s high school friend’s daughter he didn’t know about just made it so much better to me. I like to put some drama into my books, but they’ll always have a happy ending, no matter how many difficulties they go through or how toxic they are sometimes. I can’t wait to continue their story, and also write the three other books I plan on adding to this series. I think y’all will love them if you love this book. Thank you so much for all your support and love, and I hope you enjoy Walker and Daisy as much as I enjoyed writing them! 😊"
