Bloodstains and Shadows

Sarah lived with her parents, Lawrence and Maria Cambridge in a small town outside Livingston (The town’s capital). Sarah was an only child. She always wanted a sibling but her parents didn’t want another child. Lawrence was an alcoholic and never worked after losing his job. He would go outside for a smoke at exactly 7:15 pm every night and when he got drunk, he went into the house and hit his wife.

“You brat! I am going to lock you back in that room for the rest of your life and make you regret it.”

Sitting there with a knife full of her parent’s blood, she laughed to herself not caring what would happen to her at just thirteen years old. Laughing became louder and louder and louder.

“Do you hear it?”

“Do you feel it?”

Heavy breathing, and loud laughing echo around the room.

[BAM! CRASH!]

She threw herself into a mirror; she didn’t mean for it to happen; she was just a little girl scared of her abusive parents. She spread her parents over her body and walls laughing continuously. The record started playing, an eerie presence surrounded her.

“Do you hear it?”

“Do you feel it?”

“Don’t close your eyes if you plan on sleeping tonight.” She whispered.

What made her do it? Why did she do it? How could she do it? A whistle blew in the distance, the record kept playing on repeat. She took the knife and cut her tongue out.

NO TEARS! NO PAIN!

“Do you hear it?”

“Do you feel it?”

“Do you hear it?”

“Do you feel it?”

An eerie presence kept repeating over and over.

[Loud Scream] There was silence.
