Laughter in Darkness
Amarie:
“WOW! It's so cold outside, I hate it…” I sarcastically say, falling onto my bed. I look over at my nightstand and see my camera and I sit there and stare at it for a couple minutes. I get off my bed, take my camera to the window of the two-story house, and open the window, letting the cold winter breeze inside. I shiver and lift my camera. “three… two… one,” I say as I click a couple of photos and close the window I sit on my bed, looking through the images on my camera. I sighed as I put away the camera, wondering what Kat was doing In their room. I hear A loud bang. “OW THAT HURT! YOU STUPID PIECE OF-” I cut them off as I open the door to get punched in the face. I feel the pain hit me immediately As I fall back onto the floor, “Ow…” I manage to say before I lean back up, feeling my face warm. I look down, feeling something drip from my nose “Well, Shit, that hurt Kit.” I say, ignoring the blood pouring down my shirt “I didn’t hit you that hard, to be honest”
Kat: “It’s cold out. Why does it have to snow?” Stares at the ceiling, bored. Grabs my sketchbook, and I start to draw. After a while, I get bored again, so I get up. I go to Amarie’s room, and I throw myself at the door. “OW THAT HURT! YOU STUPID PIECE OF-” Attempts to punch the door, but I hit Amarie in the face. Looks at Amarie, unfazed. “I didn’t hit you that hard, to be honest.” Walks off and sits on the couch in the living room.
